sempervivum March 23 Share March 23 Just watched the first/only episode last night. I believe it said new episodes will air Thursdays (on BritBox). Although there are a zillion 'weirdo who's a great detective' mystery series out there, I have to admit I enjoyed this one, in fact I laughed throughout the whole hour. Also, it's set in Cambridge and there's some lovely camera work. Recommend (so far). 8 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152533-ludwig-all-episodes-talk/#findComment-8614539
LeDucDiableBleu March 26 Share March 26 I've seen the first two episodes that are available in the US. I'm loving it so far and attached to the characters already. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152533-ludwig-all-episodes-talk/#findComment-8617170
cardigirl March 28 Share March 28 (edited) Glad to find a discussion thread on here for Ludwig. I'm really enjoying this series. Watched the third episode and got a little bit of an Only-Murders-in-the-Building vibe, only these solutions make sense. Love the characters, sad there are only six episodes, hope that the second season gets here soon. msani19 April 5 Share April 5 I saw her as a guest on "Would I Lie to You" and she was hilariously brutal to David! I had no idea they starred in this together so it makes what she was saying to him even funnier! I've been dying for this to be available since I heard about it and I'm enjoying it so much! 6 episodes isn't enough BBC! Can we get 8? Pretty please! I love David Mitchell and I agree Anna Maxwell Martin is great. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152533-ludwig-all-episodes-talk/#findComment-8627246

No episodes 7 & 8, but the BBC has said there will be a Season 2. 3 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152533-ludwig-all-episodes-talk/#findComment-8628718
EtheltoTillie April 7 Author Share April 7 I just love this! We’ve watched three episodes so far. There are so many laugh out loud funny moments but the mysteries are good too. Do you think that the brother will be found by the end of the season? Episode three I clocked that there was something important about the security logo on the shirt. But that’s it. I’m never great at solving mysteries. My other fave like this is Chelsea Detective, and I think the new season just dropped there. Anyone else watching that too? 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152533-ludwig-all-episodes-talk/#findComment-8628840
dgpolo April 7 Share April 7 I'm so glad I gave this a try. It's quirky and funny and really very good. As soon as I watched the first episode I texted my sister to tell her to watch too. She enjoys a lot of the same mysteries that I do, Brokenwood, Vera, Chelsea Detective, Death in Paradise..., but doesn't like a lot of swearing in the ones she watches (I am so inured to it I hardly ever notice when they swear, last one she bailed on was A Remarkable Place to Die). But I told her, no swearing you'll like it. And she did. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152533-ludwig-all-episodes-talk/#findComment-8628854
Milburn Stone April 10 Share April 10 Enjoying this a lot. It's not like the concept is that original (oddball place on the spectrum turns out to be just the thing needed to solve murders!), but like they say, execution is everything. And this execution is charming. 6 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152533-ludwig-all-episodes-talk/#findComment-8631643
Milburn Stone April 18 Share April 18 The Ludwig season finale was a corker. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152533-ludwig-all-episodes-talk/#findComment-8639160
SomeTameGazelle April 18 Share April 18 I was a bit disappointed that we didn't get more of Holly in person. I had guessed that she was testing John and would rather have seen her face to face with Lucy than the remote explanation we did get. Interested to see where season 2 goes. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152533-ludwig-all-episodes-talk/#findComment-8639203
EtheltoTillie April 20 Author Share April 20 Do we all think the blond superintendent is a good guy or a bad guy? How about Ziegler? So we only got to see the husband hiding in the dark at the end. Can't wait for season 2! After seeing episode 5 I thought Derek Jacobi had put in wrong puzzle answers to see if John would fix them. Is that too crazy? So Derek Jacobi was only faking dementia? Milburn Stone April 20 Share April 20 (edited) We can only go on gut feelings, but mine are: Blond superintendent is genuinely good, and Ziegler is very possibly not bad. I wish I could think back to Episode 5 (😂), but I believe we were meant to believe that Derek Jacobi was a lot sharper than he let on. Among other reasons for his ruse, so that he wouldn't be suspected by staff of being the murderer. EtheltoTillie Friday at 07:24 AM Author Share Friday at 07:24 AM I just started watching The Pitt. The actor who plays the young constable on Ludwig is playing a young (American) med student! Incredible accent and acting. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152533-ludwig-all-episodes-talk/#findComment-8645081
dgpolo Saturday at 06:42 PM Share Saturday at 06:42 PM I've watched this show with pleasure, it's such a good find. I also watched Watson and I told my sister that if I see another mystery type show with an actor playing a set of twins I'm going to think it's a new trope. Also, does anyone know how to add this show to my home page shows? I clicked on the link that said 'easily customize your TV show selections...' and scrolled, and scrolled and scrolled 'til I got to Ludwig (thank goodness it doesn't start with W!) but when I click on the little ribbon thing it just gives me the option to follow it, which I already do, not to add it to "My TV Shows" home page. Do they not do that anymore? Nevermind! I figured it out, I have to actually follow it from the index, I can't just follow it from the forum. 🤪 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152533-ludwig-all-episodes-talk/#findComment-8646352
