S01.E06: The Third Man

I felt sad that the case was shut down because of expediency.  I'm glad that the Chief was willing to go down for her, though.

LOL at how a random guy was able to get into the White House.  I really hope some of the Secret Service guys were fired for letting him in.

Woah at the end, though.  Why would you volunteer to go in front of a Senate hearing and lie to them so blatantly?

When they were talking about the dog barking (the never before mentioned dog), Cordelia looks up and said pensively 'A curious incident'

Book nerd me: Ha! 'The  Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time' - a mystery novel by Mark Haddon where a young boy investigates the murder of a neighbors dog (he had been stabbed bu a fork) and chronicles everything he learns in a notebook.

And Haddon stole the title from a quote in a Sherlock Holmes short story, The Adventure of Silver Blaze. Holmes mentions the curious incident, that the dog did not bark during the crime, indicating that the criminal was known to the dog.

I love a great literary reference hidden within another literary reference!
