I don't understand why these people never mention their actual profits. Nobody cares about lifetime sales! You could be making 5 bajillion dollars in sales but that doesn't mean your profits are the same. It's so shady like why fool the audience with such big numbers? Likewise, when they report high sales $$, even when it only represents a small number of high-priced units sold. On-topic, Diggerland USA in New Jersey has been a very popular construction/water park attraction for many years. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152405-s16e13-hella-awkward-domedock-riverbend-dig-world/#findComment-8607906
tired and hungry March 16 Share March 16 For the Domedock, they seemed to be only using those flimsy mesh caps. I wonder if it works on all caps coz there are some caps that are made with very thick sturdy materials. Appreciate the Dig World guy was all about business even after sharing his story. In this case the story about his son is kinda relevant to his business so makes sense to share it I guess. He shared the story without any tears and just went on with the pitch. I rememeber there was a pitch where the woman straight up started bawling about a death of a family member that happened like more than 5yrs ago and it was so awkward... 3 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152405-s16e13-hella-awkward-domedock-riverbend-dig-world/#findComment-8608483
Tango64 March 16 Share March 16 That card game looks like a recipe for starting arguments and ruining relationships. You’re supposed to go to Thanksgiving and ask dad who should bring home the bacon and then ask mom what she doesn’t like about you? Yeah, that will make for a pleasant visit with no lasting repercussions. If you’re looking to stir things up and create rifts with family and friends, this seems like a great tool. If you’re looking to just play a fun game that gets people interacting, this is going to backfire. 5 2 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152405-s16e13-hella-awkward-domedock-riverbend-dig-world/#findComment-8608705

Do you secretly hate your family? Want out of this friend group? Do you want to spice up your Human Resources department's day? Have we got a game for you! 1 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152405-s16e13-hella-awkward-domedock-riverbend-dig-world/#findComment-8609957
Shrek March 17 Share March 17 (edited) If there's one thing I really despised with a vengeance about going to meetings/training courses all my working life it was the "ice breaker", no matter what it was. Funny thing is my first wife was a regional HR director & whenever I went to meetings after marrying her the look of disbelief from her HR people in the field running the meetings when they realized I was her husband was a look to behold, they couldn't believe who she had married and as I had been with the company for 20 odd years they all knew me or of me but thought there was no way it was me she had married. Just to give you an example of how much I despised these meetings/training courses, one day one of my peers was told that there was no such thing as a "bad attitude" & when he argued about it was asked to draw one, he drew a picture of me. Madding crowd March 18 Share March 18 There are also a lot of games out there like Cards Against Humanity and other ones that don’t require asking such personal questions. I don’t see any card game selling enough to pay back the sharks. Cards Against Humanity made a lot of money but it was a very new twist on card games and now there are tons of these. My son would have loved Dig World when he was a kid. He loved going to public works days when he could just sit in trucks, being able to move things would have been heaven. It’s a very expensive idea though and again not likely to make money for a long time . There are also a million different hat storage things out there, this one is not unique.
