  1. Well I totally breezed past those episodes in just a couple of hours...
  2. Dogue pitchers were some of the most pretentious people I have seen on the show. They had no idea what they wanted to do with the business and how they were going to scale. Were they just expecting to get a deal and let the sharks do all the work for them? As someone else pointed out, dogs don't care if the food looks like fancy pastries or like a michelin star dish. They will eat anything you put in front of them. The dog in the little chef hat was the cutest thing in that pitch! Cup-A-Bug guy seemed very genuine and sweet. One thing I don't get is that sometimes the sharks say they don't like to invest in Inventors because the inventors are constantly focusing of inventing the next product and don't give enough time and effort to their current product. But then they get excited when an inventor like this shows up and immediately invest coz they always want to know their next big invention? Make it make sense Coldest guys shrill high pitched voices were hurting my ears. After the pitch, the first thing I did was roll my eyes while thinking "Oh great! another Water Bottle company". How many water bottles do you need? (I'm not in the US but even I'm tired of hearing about Stanley cups and its other thousand XYZ dupes) Why are they people so obsessed with water bottles? It seems crazy to me that they were making so much money with such ugly designs. Consumerism at its finest I guess.
  3. The Flora guy had the tech but I don't remember him mentioning the accuracy or efficacy of the data. Like if I follow the instructions according to what the app says what's the guarantee that the plant will still be healthy? How do I know if I'm not hurting the plant more? Also I wonder if it works on plants that are already dying. Will I be able to get it back to a healthy plant if I use that device? The SplashZen pitch went by so quickly. It felt like a lot key details were cut. How do you attach it to the side of the bathtub? Maybe I missed it but did they even mention the price? I don't think you can have a totally dry floor with that, the water can still splash over especially if you're bathing a dog..
  4. Can't beileve people are paying 70$ for that piece of plastic. The packaging for that PB jar needed some serious rebranding/better design. It looked so juvenile and poorly done.
  5. Poplight - Oh great another thing that needs to charge. Personally I thought the design of the light was kinda meh. And was it really level though? The light that the long haired lady attached to the wall was definitely crooked. Also, in the US does it really take 1000+ dollars to call an electrician and install a light?? I'm shocked. Sorry but the Silicone Mat lady's business had a terrible name. Also what's stopping the baby/toddler from ripping the mat off the table? I know that's not the problem the mat was trying to solve but it can happen. I remember there was another mom who pitched a silicon mat for the table with a built in bowl so that babies can't pick up and throw the mat. (If you've seen that video where the baby is smart enough to pick the mat from the edge then you'll know that this doesn't work)
  6. Exactly what I was thinking!! Did they even need an investor? Nice of Mark to criticize them first for being on the show just to get a free commercial and then turn around and make a deal with them. I always wonder why these already successful businesses need to raise so much money? Maybe in this case the food industry is very competitive and obviously requires lots of money but I don't understand why they need to keep raising 5,10,20 million dollars. Just seems like they want to get to X amount of valuation in the shortest time to get an exit & then sell the business. What's stopping them from increasing their valuation even more now? Now can't they say we have 2 sharks on our team so our 5M valuation is now worth 20M? They clearly dont need any help and just come on the show to increase their valuation. This just seemed like a get rich quick scheme especially with the 2 investment bankers.
  7. For once, it was nice to see a dad who was pitching his business. I'm tired of these #girlboss momtrepreneurs who come in asking for 500K for 5% for some old drab baby product that they "reinvented". I'm sure that if it was a single mom who pitched this product they would be all over the product and be throwing offers on it. The women sharks would be the first to say stuff like "oh honey we're going to blow this up" and "I''m going to give this to all the moms I know" etc Also what kind of creepy baby gym/therapy was Candace a part of?? Engaging the baby's core muscles??? WTAF Do they mean that I can just start a business based on any tiktok trend?? Hot Girls eat tinned fish? Seriously? I've heard of the "hot girls eat pickles" thing but this was ridiculous. So I just need to start a pickle company and "elevate" the product and packaging and charge a premium price and I'll have a multi-million dollar business right?
  8. Agreed! She's absolutely irrelevant to the entire story. Apart from hacking into the files that one time when they were in Japan she has had no other purpose. Her entire personality seems to be just whining about everything and making sarcastic comments on whatever's going on. She does not even have a connection to Monarch or anything.
  9. Haha it's even funnier when you realize the younger Lee plays Captain America's "replacement" in the Falcon and Winter Soldier series
  10. So they obviously fall through the portal and survive right? They already mentioned there's a whole world down there.. Keiko and Bill(?)are probably still alive too. I'm confused now coz at what point does Bill Randa grow older and travel to Skull Island in the Kong movie. Acc to these episodes, they both "die" in the portal (as shown at the end of Ep1) in 1959. The events of Kong: Skull Island take place in 1973 which shows Bill as the head of Monarch and clearly still alive. But right now they are in 2015 when the bomb detonates. Is the Kong Bill who gets eaten by the skullcrawlers this Bill's son or is he the same Bill? Am I understanding something wrong? Can someone make it make sense? Edit: Ok I thought about this for a while, Lee goes to save them in 1959 when they both fall through to Hollow Earth (he tells Cate that he's been there before) I'm guessing at some point in there, Keiko dies and Bill and Lee travel out of there. Bill adopts Hiroshi and after some years goes to become the head of Monarch after proving their Hollow Earth theory and then ultimately goes on the Skull Island expedition where he gets killed. Just how old Shaw is supposed to be in all this?
  11. Episode 7 felt like an unnecessary filler tbh. I don't really care for Cora/May's past or her character in general. Her "backstory" has had no relevance to the actual plot or story.
  12. I just remembered, didn't Lee say she still doesn't know how Andy found her and Zoomer the previous time they tried to escape?? Why are they so sure that Andy cannot find them again? Just because the ship is totally off the grid and doesn't use electronics?? Were they planning to stay on the ship forever?? At some point it had to have docked right? They would have gotten off somewhere right?. Maybe they are relying on the fact that Andy now can't find them that easily without Ray's help. Idk about you but it felt like Lee's actor (who is also the producer, director, writer etc) wanted to have somekind of role where she was somewhat of a main character. It felt like she was trying to shift the focus of from Darby/Emma. The victim character who is finally liberated at the end and has a hopeful ending. There was just not enough depth in her character for me to care about her ending.
  13. Ehhh that was a mediocre ending IMO... The "AI that predicts a person will be a threat in the future and so tries to eliminate them before they can do any harm" plot has been done before. However, I didn't think Ray would manipulate Zoomer to acheive his goals so that was a bit of a curveball.. I wasn't fully convinced of the whole Lee needed to escape plot. Obviously Zoomer deserved a better life than to be a human experiment and he was just an innocent child that got caught up in Ray's plans but I didn't really empathize with Lee's story. Maybe there wasn't enough backstory for her or the actor wasn't able to potray it convincingly. Safe to say that the rest of the guests/staff were utterly useless and some were completely unnecessary to the plot. None of them even bothered to get up when Andy attacked Darby.
  14. I didn't really pay attention to her hair in previous episodes but in this one it was extremely obvious. In the scene where Lee is brushing her hair its somewhat of a pale peach shade but in the next scene when they are in Bill's room, her hair is like bright bubblegum pink.
  15. Why on earth does the pool cover even need to be "on the grid"??? Is Oliver's wheelchair connected to the grid too?? I agree with @Snazzy Daisy. It's too convenient to make Andy the killer. How do we even know of Lee was telling the truth? Maybe she was the one kidnapping Zoomer. I'm surprised that mostly all the guests that have some tech experience are potential suspects but they never mention that guy who was a filmmaker. He's rarely spoken about. Didn't he say he read Darby's book? And also in an earlier episode he makes a movie with the AI's help and was inisistent that AI was better in many ways. He may not be the killer but with all the murder's that's happening at the hotel, it would surely make a good movie...
