S03.E10: Shred

Recommended Posts

I thought they lost the funding for the kennel.

Are adults in real life really as hesitant to admit their feelings for each other, as tv shows like to say they are? And are they actually severely grossed out and squeamish about their parent's sex life?

I miss when the show was focused more on animal calls. The show is devolving more and more into a generic workplace sitcom focused on employee shenanigans and coworker dating issues. I liked that it was a little different in the beginning, with a lot of each episode spent out on calls and dealing with animals.

Wow, they set up a LOT of potential future storylines in this one.

This season was so short, I wonder if the series is in danger of cancellation? 10 episodes is not much, and series usually starts to become more expensive on 4th seasons because the actor salaries become more.

What is up with the show setting up almost low-life grifters as love interests?

Shred's blonde girlfriend is a thief and a liar.

Manny seemed homeless and he blackmailed Shred / Patel with lies to stay in their building, but all of that was forgotten / forgiven rather easily.

And Jasmine seems to have stalker tendencies, so probably mental health issues. What is going on?

They got Roman whats-his-face (Ken Jeong) to sponsor it.

100% agree with this.

Same here.  I find those generic workplace sitcoms boring, so this show is becoming more boring.  I read a book and glance at the screen occasionally to see if there are animals.  It's becoming less worth having it on at all.

Season 1 was 12 episodes, season 2 was 9 episodes, so 10 episodes is about right for this show.

Overall, I really liked this episode. They finally caught Oreo, and Shred and Emily finally kissed.

Parker learning the New Zealand national anthem for Victoria was cute, Frank hooking back up with Yazmin was not, but I guess he was feeling sad about Victoria. Does he really have feelings for her, or is he just getting older and feeling lonely?

I was hoping after Shred reintroduced himself to Frank's dad, he would call him not-Rick. That always cracks me up. Speaking of which, I kinda miss Rick.

It'll be interesting to see what goes on with Patel and Templeton next season, if there is one.

I don't mind the workplace antics. One of the things I really enjoy is the dynamic between Frank and Shred as partners, and between Victoria and Patel. Neither are romantic relationships.

What I could do without is the romantic entanglements. I don't really care if Frank and Victoria get together or if Shred and Emily get together. I don't think EVERY SHOW needs that.
