bunnyface March 13 Share March 13 I SWORE to myself I'd never watch anything with Frank ever again. I broke my own rule and saw a few minutes tonight and yep, Frank is still the worst. If he will justfortheloveofallthatsholy GO AWAY I can watch again. But I'm still out for now. Blech. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152344-s05e07-old-friends-new-rivals/#findComment-8605826
AntFTW March 13 Author Share March 13 If saw you the season trailer, you knew who was going to lose that elimination. 1 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152344-s05e07-old-friends-new-rivals/#findComment-8605841
Lantern7 March 13 Share March 13 Apparently, no one has figured out "they" are Veronica & Katie. Or maybe they all know and are playing dumb. Eh, probably not. I'm willing to bet at least two teams will claim that at the Reunion. Faysal & Amber vs. Turbo & Nany. Of all the times NOT to bring out Hall Brawl. It's not that I hate Fessy that much. I just want to see Turbo unleashed. Sadly, it looks like he'll be going off the deep end next week. I don't see why he was mad at everyone following the Jungle. He and Nany weren't the house vote. At least he said "pussy chickens." He knows that's a thing, and he'll run with it. Frank is still an ass. I couldn't understand the mission. Thinking about it, of course Katie & Veronica won. They would understand how analog clocks worked. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152344-s05e07-old-friends-new-rivals/#findComment-8605910
aghst March 13 Share March 13 Several teams pressed the check button after Frank did. I think more than memorizing the city and offset hours, it would help to know geography a little, which city is further east and thus the relative time zone differences. But there are people who don’t look at world maps. In any event we have to trust TJ that Katy and Veronica won. How convenient though, after they manipulate the house in the previous episode, they actually get power in this one, setting up house vote drama with Veronica threatening Nicole like some mob boss. The elimination was a puzzle as well, no physical advantages. They didn’t really need to reveal the faces in the pictures, you could see that the caption was at the top. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152344-s05e07-old-friends-new-rivals/#findComment-8605929
ImpinAintEasy March 13 Share March 13 At least Frank isn't boring. If he were a regular and not competing for the first time in forever, it would be more exhausting, but I can't help it, he's one of the few entertaining parts of this season for me. I am wondering if there is a way for production to devise a way for Katie and Veronica to win. Because I'd be good with that. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152344-s05e07-old-friends-new-rivals/#findComment-8605947
mojoween March 13 Share March 13 Veronica seemed to also be the only one who understands how time zones work. I am mad at Amber for making me mad that Faysal was bounced. I also really don’t get why this show loves Turbo so much. 4 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152344-s05e07-old-friends-new-rivals/#findComment-8606031
RedbirdNelly March 14 Share March 14 the 2 most recent shows involving Faysal have him not being so annoying. What's going on?? I liked him and Amber getting closer and hope they work together on another show. What am I saying? it's like he's grown 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152344-s05e07-old-friends-new-rivals/#findComment-8607316
LaurelleJ March 15 Share March 15 Darn this show for actually making me sad that Fessy and Amber were eliminated. I'm still not turning around on Fessy, that's just how much I don't like Frank in this season. It's hilarious that Frank was so offended that someone called him out in nomination. Probably not because it was true, but because he thought he was playing such a good silent game in the background, and he was found out. Veronica and Katie winning a daily was not on my bingo card. Hilarious twist. This game is so wacky, they may mess up and win. If Mel and Nicole would have voted for Frank and Sam, Veronica and Katie would have likely thrown Mel and Nicole into elimination. The elimination was not too physical, so Mel and Nicole might have ended up winning. There was a moment when they were counting votes, and I said out loud, what about Ashley and Dario? Who are they voting? The very next scene was talking about their vote. I think of the current star holders, they considered them lower on list, so they weren't a threat. It was Riley always going to be Fessy and Amber vs. Nany and Turbo. I think the season is getting a little better. It's looking like they are moving away from a strong final and instead focusing on a strong political game. Makes the season more interesting but the final less interesting, unless all strong teams are gone and it's just mediocre teams left for a more balanced final. Looking forward to next week. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152344-s05e07-old-friends-new-rivals/#findComment-8607839
