DanaK Thursday at 06:29 PM Share Thursday at 06:29 PM Quote It's the final round of auditions, where eight professional chefs must rely on their expertise in a race against time. With just 20 minutes on the clock on each level, the professional chefs must impress the judges in order to advance to the next stage in the all-new "Pro Chef Auditions" episode of Next Level Chef airing Thursday, Feb 27 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Ancaster Friday at 10:25 AM Share Friday at 10:25 AM There were some seriously irritating people in the professional chefs group, and I was particularly happy with the first elimination. And Beatrice is already annoying me. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152115-s04e03-pro-chefs-auditions/#findComment-8593615

The one that really annoyed me last night was Iman. 2 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152115-s04e03-pro-chefs-auditions/#findComment-8593817
Sir RaiderDuck OMS Friday at 05:39 PM Share Friday at 05:39 PM Private Yacht Chef didn't make the cut, once again proving that being rich and famous doesn't mean you have good taste in food. It's another reason I'm not generally impressed by restaurants with pictures of celebrities on the wall. Yes, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael Bloomberg, and Rod Stewart all ate at your restaurant. But am I going to have the same taste in food as they do? Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152115-s04e03-pro-chefs-auditions/#findComment-8593896
mlp Friday at 06:29 PM Share Friday at 06:29 PM I think Beatrice may be a bit too big for her britches. I noticed that the mentors and the contestants were all referring to each other as "Chef" - except Beatrice who was addressing all the mentors by first name. Someone needs to tell her that there's a hierarchy in kitchens and she's nowhere near the top. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152115-s04e03-pro-chefs-auditions/#findComment-8593940
milkyaqua Friday at 06:32 PM Share Friday at 06:32 PM Beatrice is annoying(calling the chef's by their first names) but Iman still has her beat. Ash's "fusion" dish gave me bad memories of meal I had at an Italian/Asian fusion restaurant years ago when I first started working. I'd been to other Asian fusion restaurants before (generally with French) but that one meal was bad and could've been because I didn't know how to order/or didn't ask the server for suggestions. So Ash's dish was triggering to say the least, lol. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152115-s04e03-pro-chefs-auditions/#findComment-8593950
DanaK Saturday at 03:31 AM Author Share Saturday at 03:31 AM I think Brennan (big bald guy) was the one who made the inappropriate sexual remark in the elevator and it looks like he was cut, so I was glad for that I’m still annoyed at how bad they make that basement kitchen as it looks unhygienic and unsafe 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152115-s04e03-pro-chefs-auditions/#findComment-8594447
blackwing Saturday at 08:52 PM Share Saturday at 08:52 PM Out of the three groups of contestants, it is ironic that the professional chefs seemed to have the most misses. In the middle floor, four of them had dishes that were seriously bad. Beatrice presented pasta, since she dropped her pan on the floor. She only got saved because two others were even worse. Beatrice and her red eyeshadow and her "I've been cooking since I was 13" is seriously annoying. But I agree with the above comment that Iman is even more annoying. I was calling Iman "Very very poor man's Salma Hayek" the entire night. Wish she had been eliminated. Ryan and Austin look like they could be brothers, or maybe it's just the same wavy hairstyle. Good thing Austin has a beard otherwise I wouldn't be able to tell them apart. Of this group, I like Austin and Brandon the best. It's interesting that in the first episode, when all 24 contestants stood in the room, I think the only professional chef who got a talking head or got named (I can't remember which) was Beatrice. I hope this doesn't mean she goes far in the competition. I find her more irritating than Teeny, and I loathed Teeny. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152115-s04e03-pro-chefs-auditions/#findComment-8594926
Ancaster Yest. at 06:37 PM Share Yest. at 06:37 PM What was with the annoying "chefs" holding up utensils and laughing? One held up a potato peeler and said, "My grandmother had one of these! Yuk yuk yuk." Do they never cook? How do they peel a potato? How are they going to survive on a cooking show if they don't know how to use basic utensils? 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152115-s04e03-pro-chefs-auditions/#findComment-8595449
snarts Yest. at 07:32 PM Share Yest. at 07:32 PM I found it interesting that, as a group, the professional chefs were the worst performers. Makes me wonder if spending years in the restaurant industry as a line/sous chef sucks a bit of the creativity out of you. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152115-s04e03-pro-chefs-auditions/#findComment-8595484
