I was really rooting for Kevin here.  But Kyle got some brownie points for helping him when he broke his jug.  Kevin definitely had the right approach, but I wasn't sure if he was going to pull it off.

Mary starts fire, so that's a good start for her.

Kevin and Mary bonding.  Good start for both, alliance-wise.

But he's also being approached by Sai, Justin, and Cedrek.

But something has me worried for Kevin now that he's calling himself "the king of Vula."

So the black woman on green wants the guys but now Kevin is bonding with Mary, so we'll see how this goes.  

Kevin's actually in a good spot, sometimes the person that goes off on a journey or challenge has to worry about everyone bonding without them back at camp.

Mitch is right that they should focus on getting what parts of camp set up that they can rather than look for the symbols.

Lagi looks like the most competent tribe, despite having the shortest members.

Eva is strong for such a little package.  Oh, and she's autistic like I am?  Wow.  She'll have trouble with those social cues.

Lagi also has fire, thanks to Joe.

After a quarter century of Survivor, we have typical vote outs & people removed due to injury.

Would've been pretty cool if there were people (like David) removed due to being too stupid to be there.

What's the word on watching Survivor 47 for prep for future seasons?  Must see on All-Star Survivor levels or not a big deal.  Maybe 47 was okay but not something to add on a bucket list RE-WATCH style

But Mary and Stephanie are on to her.  But Mary's wrong that idol hunting is bad.  It isn't always bad.

Do Mary and Stephanie realize that they are 2 people in a tribe of 6, and the other 4 (a majority) are off somewhere?  I mean I think Sai is playing too hard but those two aren't playing at all.

It's a puzzle box.  A two-puzzle lock.  It has a number code that spells a word.  Until she solves it, she can't vote.

Sai's whining about math.  Survivor uses math all the time, girl!

Star is already idol hunting at Lagi.  Not finding anything so far.

Everyone's noticing that she's gone.  Shauhin says that she's in trouble, since she's not socializing.

The men are aligning now.  Calling themselves the "California Girls."  Even though they're men.

Although in the Green tribe's case, I kind of can't blame them for teaming up together.

That's risky to be that vulnerable about her autism with Joe.  Can he trusted with that knowledge?  He seems like a good enough guy to trust with it.

So far, nothing much of interest on Survivor.

It's glaring in Lagi's case, in particular, because all three women on that tribe look just as capable as the men do.
