Jesse and Lexi ignore concerns about moving too quickly and their spark grows into a flame; at the first house dinner of the summer, Ciara confronts West about their relationship; Carl summons the courage to speak to Lindsay directly.

West to me looks like if Robin Williams and Phil Collins had a baby.  

Jesse Soloman is such a goofball.  I just can't take him seriously.  Watch out Lexi.  He seems like the hit it and quit it type to me.  Sort of like West. 

I'm actually liking the pregnant Lindsay.  Maybe because I'm always soft on pregnant women.  I was one 4 times. 😊

Paige is really telegraphing her desire to be single.  Her comments about not being the same person she was when she and Craig started their relationship and how Lindsay's being pregnant makes her know she doesn't want to be says a lot to me. She was already ready to split with Craig at that point if you ask me.

Omg, I totally thought of Robin Williams when he was sitting at the dinner, and especially in his interviews. If I was talking to someone I was involved with and he kept eating, I’d be FURIOUS. Show SOME emotion for goodness sake!

I  think Lindsay's  pregnancy  hormones  are helping her feel more caring, I just want Carl to have a really good summer. I was tired of him walking  on eggshells  last summer. BTW,  If he does get friendly  with another  girl, I don't  see Lindsay's  hormones helping her then. 

Carl , I looked at those steaks and the Flintstones tune ran through  my head..good heavens..lol.

I loved seeing  Craig, but he has no idea what's going  on with Paige. I still think Ciara is beautiful,  but is she over West.?  That's really  awkward. 

Lexi reminds me of some of the girls on the bachelor, like, after every word like.

I really don't like West. He's one of those people who presents himself as a good guy when he's really an asshole. I'd much rather deal with an self aware fu^kboi like Jessi, who doesn't pretend to be deep. Plus, West is nowhere near attractive enough to be that douchy, put the puffy man nipples away please.

Eh, I don't see it. The catty comments to Gabby about Carl's teeth & her confessional complaining about him showed otherwise. Lindsey is always happiest when she feels like she's the queen bee so she was just riding the high from all the extra attention her pregnancy announcement brought.

And Carl is really looking like he’s about to pull up in a horse drawn buggy wearing a straw hat, white shirt, blank pants and suspenders.

I half expect him to be on my box of oats.

I watched this show at the very start.  I fell off before the Wirkuses did, but I recall that my impression of Carl was that he was a reasonably normal guy with many family responsibilities and my solid impression of Lindsay was that she was a card carrying psychopath.

I dipped back when I heard that these two unlikely folks had agreed to marry but wouldn't.  (Ok)

of course, he was nervous and she wasn't .  She is totally nuts.

I wonder if Lexi likes Jessi because it's her chance for becoming a permanent cast member. She can't like him that much, that fast. She does appear to be ditzy. 

Lindsay and Carl: that was awkward. 

Ciara and West: that was awkward too, but they had to have a conversation.

I'm rethinking my opinion on West.

I used to think that his quiet, fumbling was just weaponized incompetence.

Now I think he just might be an idiot.

Ciara needs to stop trying to get with cast members.  She just keeps getting hurt because the guys in this cast and Southern Charm are all pretty much douches.  I felt for her in her interview where she teared up.  I think she cared more for West than she did for Austin.  West really played the dorky good guy to the hilt.  Sucks the way he played her.

Amazing!!  I always see nothing but Robin in him but I now like the added dash of Phil!

Seriously!!!  What is it about those damn nipples???  Your eyes are just drawn to them and certainly not in a good way!

I've always been and will continue to be utterly perplexed by Ciara's taste in men.

I was about ready to choke when Gabby started in on how unbelievable it was that Carl chose to come back.  While standing in front of a frickin' old ass pregnant woman who has placed herself in the middle of a summer house!! I really don't think you can get more idiotic and ridiculous than that scenario. Thank the Lord she realized her error and then included Lindsay in the observation. 

Lindsay's spouting off about how she has zero/zilch emotion about seeing Carl because she is so completely over him and has totally washed her hands of him is a stark reminder that she never did and never will truly care for any man she has been or will be with.  That woman has such serious problems.  Carl sharing how he was nervous to see her and his concern over how to navigate the situation is how a NORMAL person would react.  Not one that is still hung up on her, but one who had true feelings for (as you should) a woman he was planning on marrying.  

I'm sure she's emphasizing that stance to confirm how happy she is in her present situation but let's be honest, she doesn't love this sperm donor an ounce more than she did any of the others. 

I felt like Carl, happy when she said she was leaving and going back to the city.  Bye bye.
