JenE4 Friday at 02:08 AM Share Friday at 02:08 AM “I’m so angry if you had an infrared camera, you would see the steam and heat emanating not just from the coffee in front of me, but from my body.” Sir, you are drinking an iced coffee. Just a couple of dudes eating some bananas in an outdoor coffee shop/craft brewery. What’s with Salley and her boyfriend telling people as an opener when meeting for the first time, oh, hey, we’ve fucked the same people! This is weird, right? I mean, I guess this was how she got on the show, but so strange. Yeah, including me, says Salley, and Taylor, chimes in her dude. I also didn’t like how he grabbed her by the front of her throat when he went in for a kiss. Bad vibes from these two! Conversely, I got good vibes from Austen and Audrey. flashback to Craig saying this is bananas when he stormed out on JT. And now they’ve made up…over a couple of bananas. What a full-circle moment. Almost poetic. Andrew wanted to be exclusive but he was still hooking up with multiple girls. Oh, he wanted you to be exclusive, not himself. Hmm. This who greets whom debate… IMO, the hostess should be the one to welcome the guest, offer a drink, etc. Then it’s the guest’s responsibility to seek out the host when leaving and offer their thanks for the hospitality. But I didn’t go to cotillion school, so what do I know. she was crying. I had to hold her for like 30 seconds. lol. I knew my first impression of Andrew was right. Loved that the girls roasted him on that!. Jeez, Venita. What a way to make a splash for screen time. Glad Craig jumped in to save her. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151460-s1006-making-a-splash/#findComment-8556807
snarts Friday at 02:23 AM Share Friday at 02:23 AM Whitney wearing that stupid pinstriped blue suit to a backyard party & watching him sweat his ass off made me laugh. Nice frosted tips too. Damn, didn't realize Austen thought he & Craig were exclusive. He met JT for coffee, it's not like they banged. Taylor's such a fun sponge, she's always butthurt about something. I will say that I liked her outfit though. More Molly, please. Big props for walking the shelter pup. Please stay away from Shep. 5 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151460-s1006-making-a-splash/#findComment-8556813

ZettaK Friday at 06:09 AM Share Friday at 06:09 AM (edited) The Bravo producers forced JT and Craig to meet, exactly like they forced Salley to invite Taylor (who left immediately without saying goodbye to anybody) to her house warming party- to create drama. Austen shouldn't be upset about Craig meeting JT for coffee- it was a Bravo arrangement, but he should be upset about the podcast- his friendship with Craig is not what it used to be. My impression was that Salley had lived at that home for awhile, not recently moved in. In any event the party was for the show, so of course Taylor and most everyone else would be there. I’m sure at some point, Craig is going to be confronted about him making up that JT called Pat a bitch. Maybe they’ll keep having these little convos. If not during the season, certainly at the reunion. How about that Paige egging Craig on to break it off with Austen. She was having a showmance to further her brand but was willing to butt in on a friendship, which may also have been a show thing. Maybe Audrey really was/is smitten. But she signed up to be on the show as well? That’s going to at least raise suspicions. Is she really attracted to him or the show? Other reality shows have this issue, long-time cast members getting “serious” with people who may also want to be on reality TV. If it turned out that she was on other shows or auditioned for them, it wouldn’t be completely out of left field. Speaking of which, apparently that is the case with Salley, tried to be on shows more than once. She’s certainly going to be a foil for Taylor, who herself got on the show dating a regular cast member. Not recalling what else happened on this episode. Venita jumping in the pool, even if it wasn’t a stunt for the show, why would they choose to show it and name the episode in reference to it? A black person struggling to swim? A white man jumping in to rescue her? Well this show is suppose to be about the South … 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151460-s1006-making-a-splash/#findComment-8556928
dancingdreamer Friday at 07:47 AM Share Friday at 07:47 AM (edited) I don't like JT, but I didn’t hear him call Patricia a bitch. I really think Craig thought he heard that, but can we move on. Austen, Craig didn't meet JT for coffee to piss you off, stop being a baby. I like Audrey, what we saw of her, Austin will probably mess that relationship up as well. Craig looking very Craigy tonight. I loved he jumped in the pool to help Venita out, that's my Craig.lol I really like Molly, I wish she wouldn't put herself down, and I loved her for taking the shelter dog for the day. Salley is just another girl in the group, Taylor thinks she's better than Salley though, she isn't. A white man jumping in to rescue her? Well this show is suppose to be about the South … They didn’t necessarily have to be on other shows before in order to try to join a reality show by attaching themselves to an OG cast member, it could be their first try. On this particular show, Naomi who ignored Craig in college, remembered him after he became a cast member, Ashley found Tom Ravenel, Austen dated Chelsea, Madison went after Austen, Taylor dated Shep. Audrey could be in this category. Also, I'm not convinced Austen wants to be monogamous, although he is pushing 40, so he might have started thinking about it. His fondness for partying and drinking in bars doesn't scream commitment to a different lifestyle. 23 hours ago, dancingdreamer said: Salley is just another girl in the group, Taylor thinks she's better than Salley though, she isn't. Andy Cohen mentioned this on his show a couple of times; the staff has gone through all JT's video and no one has been able to find him calling Pat a name. Viewers saw Andy specifically mention this to Craig (no "confrontation"); it may have been a time when many of Craigs LIES were featured--one after one, because he had actually said, "I never lied on the show." I don't believe Craig thought he heard JT say the "B" word...unless, like so many of Craig's lies, he doesn't listen closely and repeats something that's way off. Way off...but attention-getting. His lies about finishing law school, taking the Bar, being late, and so many others were blatant; everyone (including viewers) eventually knew he lied-lied-lied. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151460-s1006-making-a-splash/#findComment-8557184

Vivigirl10 17 hours ago Share 17 hours ago I'm usually not too critical of this show because I watch these things knowing what I'm getting myself into.....but wow, what a boring episode. None of these new people know each other (other than, I supposed, being connected by who they've slept with). So the forced interactions and confrontations when literally none of them care, is just not entertaining to watch. Craig and Austen have opened a very nice restaurant together which doesn't jive at all with this loss of friendship. So we know this is all fake. Absolutely no one would care if Craig had coffee with JT. The meeting didn't even have anything to do with Austen and JT's problem with him. Madison storming off because she too was so offended was laughable. Venita drowning.....the frosting on the cake of this stupidity. I could care less about "Rod" and his boyfriend(?)/husband(?). They're bores and apparently only around to give Taylor someone to shoot with. I also am not excited about Austen's new girlfriend. If her energy level gets any lower, she won't have any further back to sink down into her chair. Sit up - girl! Austen's Mom and sister always seem like lovely people but.........they are not "facially gifted". Those genes are lurking behind Austen's face so I hope there are no surprises when the baby comes out looking like Grandma and Auntie. A lot of these shows do some pretty far reaching for storylines but our poor Southern Charm seems to be having the hardest time coming up with anything right now. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151460-s1006-making-a-splash/#findComment-8558204
