A broken hip is major injury and surgery and recovery. 

Plus Pelosi was hunted by the insurgent terrorists on January 6th.

Pelosi's home was broken into with the purpose of harming/killing her, except she wasn't home and her elderly husband was brutally attacked wth a hammer!

How indefensible must her decision be to NOT  attend the inauguration? 

I just can't believe that Alyssa went there. Talk about going low.

Am I the only one who's kinda concerned for Michelle Obama?  She missed Carter's funeral and now she's missing Trump's inauguration.  Now, it could just be bad timing for Carter's funeral but the excuse they gave was she was on "extended vacation" in Hawaii, which could be legit or it could be that she's seeking some kind of medical treatment.  And with Trump's inauguration, I get why she just wouldn't want to go.  I'm just hoping that she doesn't have cancer or something.

That criticism of Pelosi was a head scratcher and tone def on her part.   She is no longer in House leadership.  There's no real reason she needs to be there, especially given she has a recently broken hip.  

I'm also not a fan of Alyssa's current attitude that because he won, the previous stuff he did is basically excused.   And the others should let go of their concerns.   She didn't stop criticizing Biden policies even though that is what the American people voted for (nor should she have)

I'm not concerned for MO at all.  I admire her for not going to the inauguration of the pig who tried to vilify her husband for years.

I hope it's The Powers That Be causing this turnaround.  She seemed like a level-headed Republican...even times when the rest of the table was against her.  Now she's just a shrill shill.  $he $old what wa$ left of her $oul.  I'm disappointed; she really seemed to be part of the group.  AND...what's up with her TAN HANDS?  Does no one check these ladies who use tanners.  The insides of her hands are almost neon gold!

I had to chuckle at the end when Joy said they wouldn’t be on Monday for MLK Day.   Instead of saying they won’t be on because of the inauguration.

I don't think that her absence indicates any health or other problem. I suspect that she just doesn't want to attend, and since being a former First Lady isn't an official role that has requirements (although there are social expectations) she gets to choose when she wants to show up or not. I do think that this aspect of MO's personality was carefully hidden when she was First Lady - she was on her best behavior, which almost all First Ladies are - but look at Melania Trump's example; she doesn't seem to care about social expectations or precedents, and seems to do just what she feels like doing. Perhaps Michelle has just taken a page out of her book.
