We love all our care ladies. They are all lovely and delightful. My brother adores them and loves to chat with them. He makes sure he can pronounce their names correctly and finds out where they're from. We've got a regular United Nations over there now, Haiti, Nigeria, Cameroon, Uganda, the Dominican Republic, and I think Trinidad represented. They are very sweet and kind to my mother, and she loves them, so my brother can rest easy knowing she's being well looked after. He's been a wreck so its wonderful to see how well he's bouncing back  now that he has more help.

Okay, is anyone else seeing the site do this? It will randomly jump to the top of the page, and there's a pink line that 'loads' across the bottom of the screen, and until it gets all the way across (and sometimes longer) I can't do anything. I've been seeing it the last few weeks, I think. It's very annoying.

This is the difference between love and addiction. They love the sensation of eating and the chemicals released by their brain from the sensation of eating. There are also feel good hormones released from the stomach as it stretches to capacity. The more stretched-out the stomach becomes, the more food it takes to get "high".

My recent surgery has made my stomach stretch-proof, and believe me, losing my stretch hormones has been tragic. I can eat normally again, but I can't hold enough to get my stretch on...and am I ever gloomy!

Lacey, having structure and focus helps prevent over eating. That is why he wants you to get a job. When I got laid off it took me 5 months to find something, I ate a lot of junk during that time because I was bored.

I don't understand why Lacey maintains that "she's working so hard" at losing weight. It's been months that she's been on da diet and had the surgery. It should be second nature to her by now. She looks like a normal fat person now. Get a scale at home, get a simple job, and get on with life.

Mercedes is a useless lump of misery. Why are we even watching her at this point? She doesn't give a rat's ass about "her kids" because she would have motivation and determination if she did.

I knew a guy in high school who was.. not a nice person. Small time drug dealer who sweet talked women into bed etc. Well his friend got pregnant and he completely changed..like 180. They ended up getting married and have 3 kids, are still together and worked his way up into a pretty good chef position. People can change but they need to do the work. Mercedes would rather play victim

Now she's blaming her kids for her weight gain, basically. She can't focus or do the work because of "mah keeyuds". I can't stand that.

She doesn't know how to deal with any discomfort, and runs to food. I'm one of those people--took me forever to quit smoking, lousy men and alcohol.

Now that I've quit, and stayed off all three, I have no empathy for addiction. I understand it, but am not nice about it. "Oh, shut up and get clean..."

My mom also died after we left for the night. At the risk of sounding like a terrible person I was somewhat relieved I wasn’t in the room when she finally stopped breathing. I don’t know if I would have been able to handle it.

I have boozy hot chocolate (still trying to use up the Baileys; the bottle has a pretty blue wrapper but it's annoying me that I can't see how much is left in it). Drinking out of my oversized Donald Duck mug I use for soup because I need to do dishes. And I still have not unmuted the TV.

My old Mac couldn't hold a charge for shit toward the end of its usefulness. Bought myself a cheap little Chromebook and I love that it can hold a charge!

Lacey, you still have a hundred lbs to go before skin surgery is feasible. And you're still eating too much so get with the program.

I keep it around for guests. Baileys makes the best chocolate chip cookies, custard pie and Snickerdoodles! Chill before scooping. Add 1/4 cup in place of vanilla extract for cookies, or switch off 1/2 cup of the liquid in a pie ! The alcohol cooks off.

Put it in a mason jar to get around that wrapper.

It also sometimes just freezes while I'm typing, but once it unfreezes it fills in everything I typed after it froze. Very irritating.

It actually kind of amuses me. At least the boys are wrasslin' in the back yard, not like the feral boys splashing in the living room aquarium in the ad for Perdue chicken. Those rotten kids make me crazy. These rotten kids are getting dirty like kids should. But YMMV!

I'm happy that Lacey has a nice, loving, supportive father!
