I could not be more bored with the fourth roommate.

I don’t care about her at all.

The actress who plays Kimberly really does look her age. The weight loss shows on her face. Eli just ditched her at the rave?

Please let Whitney have a better story than whatever it is with rich guy. I nearly fast forwarded through that.

They can’t seem to figure out what to do with her. First the sorority, then it looked like they were going to have her look more closely at race via her major, now she’s got anxiety. Also it continues to drive me nuts that they say she’s “majoring in STEM.” That’s not a thing!

Franklin the Fox wasn’t particularly attractive. That was like a furry fetish sex scene!

I was confused about that too.

The interesting tidbit about Pauline Chalamet (Kimberly) is that she is probably 3 or 4 months pregnant here.

Filming took place between March and June of this year and she gave birth to a child in Sep. or Aug.

I saw a Reddit post about her being pregnant before watching this episode and I was like how lol. She's not showing at all.

Yea, I commented on another thread that the weight loss is so prominent in her face and it really ages her.

I also wonder where they're going with Eli just ditching Kimberly. It doesn't really make sense.

What happened to this show? Season one was so good and had a defined story arc for each of the girls. Now it just feels meandering with nothing meaningful really happening for anybody. I know it was always going to be a challenge replacing a fan favorite character like Leighton, but not sure what they were thinking with this entirely annoying Kasey girl. We still get some funny moments here and there (the mascot scenes this episode were WILD lol), but the overall writing has gone SO downhill. :(

I could see him losing track of her in the crowd, but there should have been a reference like “I have all these missed texts from Eli!” If he really shrugged off not finding her knowing she was tripping for the first time, that’s not cool. He just went back to campus without her?

"I'm piss-apointed which is worse that disappointed because I'm Pissed!"

Once again Lilah is the best thing about this show. Not sure how she'll get away with destroying those robo-server thingys.

New roommate is annoying. Her brand of cutesy arrogance is never a good look. I am so happy Hetty from Ghosts read her. And she did it brilliantly.  Best bit of writing for the show this season because that was how I felt watching the audition.

Also, do they cast every potential (white) love interest from the same pool?  All the guys this season are thin, boyish looking brunettes with slightly curly hair.

So... is Whitney's new-new potential storyline is about college student stress? mental health? They really don't know what to do with her.

I do have to hat tip the journey the episode took us on with her.  I thought she'd be humbled because of her confidence, but then the girls said out loud that they felt she might not be as good as she thinks she is which made me think she would be good.  And overall, she was a good singer but then they flipped the switch again where the prof didn't think it was enough for a lead part.

Right.  Also, this made me wonder.. granted I am not a theater person but I assumed in addition to singing, you have to also act in a Musical Theater production.  All we saw was her singing we never saw her do a scene or anything that would show she could also act.

Which leads me to rolling my eyes at the theater guy saying she was so much better than the person who got the lead.  Why?  How does he know that if he didnt't see her act.  Or all the other students in the waiting area who bugged eyes at her voice.

These are all (I assumed) Theater kids. Unless she was the second coming of Whitney Houston, girls with big pipes belting out tunes should not cause their eyes to bug out in awe.  I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that their reaction was because maybe they thought she couldn't sing at all so expectations were low.  But the scene didn't play that way, imo.

I thought he was interested in sleeping with her so he was flattering her.
