AnimeMania December 12, 2024 Share December 12, 2024 When the for-sale sign comes down, the stakes go up. twoods December 13, 2024 Share December 13, 2024 Margo claiming she’s 33 made me laugh really hard. The doctor/DA couple are so intrusive. I can’t believe they came to the home to ask why their offer was revoked- maybe Lydia should have shown them the pictures of the DA lurking around their home. They are insufferable. 2 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151065-s01e05-off-the-market/#findComment-8531924

Linda C. was a 20-something playing a teenager in what, 1999? But I realize it’s the character who’s trying to get away with it, not the actor. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151065-s01e05-off-the-market/#findComment-8532981

I'm not sure how old the character is supposed to be--maybe early 40s? The actress is 49 but to me looks like mid- to late 30s. Then again, from the perspective of this 74-year-old, most women in their 40s and 50s look young to me. 1 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151065-s01e05-off-the-market/#findComment-8534782
Cementhead December 20, 2024 Share December 20, 2024 Luke Wilson's character is cracking me up in this. He's doing a good job with it. I always liked this guy and don't see him in much anymore. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151065-s01e05-off-the-market/#findComment-8537661
sadie December 23, 2024 Share December 23, 2024 I get they’re going for black comedy but this is just not good. None of these people actually behave like actual people. Who closes someone up in a wall? And why did he need to go to the trouble of dry walling it in? Wouldn’t locking the door suffice? And when you are selling a house don’t people just make an offer? All this bizarre jockeying back and forth makes no sense. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151065-s01e05-off-the-market/#findComment-8539451

Also, drywall is pretty damn easy to break through, especially if one side (the side you happen to be on) is exposed. There is plenty of stuff in that attic room that Mike could have used to break through the wall. The thing that's sort of picking at me at this point is that Paul still hasn't told Lydia about his arrest, and there's been no follow up on this. I can't imagine they're just going to drop this, so I have to assume it will come up at the most inconvenient time. What I do like is that every episode has it's own "oh, shit, now what" moment to it. Like the last minute discovery that Margo is probably not really Margo.
