My favorite part was when he brought up how the media never covers Trump the way he should be and pointed out how Teta (and others behind-the-scenes?) at The View put their thumbs on the scale in regards to making the ladies "correct" things where no correction is needed to help Trump's coverage.

Does Whoopi really think that no one knows what she thinks? She hardly keeps her cards hidden.

Hooray, KittyQ !!!  I'm watching sporadically (watched every day for YEARS!) because Whoopi's antics are beyond annoying. I DVR the shows and decide if/when to watch one or two.  I'm SO tired of her antics and rude behavior.  Someone has given her the power; it's time to dilute it!   Tonight I watched today's and yesterday's show.  Whoopi should!

Today she said, "As a Democrat...."  Yesterday she said, "I'm not a Democrat; no one knows what I am."  PULEEZ!  Stop treating us like idiots--especially Alyssa; she'll always know more about the political scene and its players than you can.  It's her interest, her education, and her work experience.

Whoopi is wrong on many topics, but is so loud, pushy, and coddled that her "here's the thing" gains the last word on most topics.  She does NOT know better than every panelist/guest and the show would be better without her. Joy has what it takes to be the moderator--letting everyone have a chance to speak and respecting their opinions.

Adam Kinzinger.  His face looked so puffy today--almost like someone taking Prednisone* or another medical steroid.  Has there been anything about his health lately?  He sure is appealing.

*I know it too well.

We saw him at a book signing a couple years ago.  It looks like he gained weight, maybe just too many donuts?  He is very engaging in person.

I think the best course (which I take) is to not comment on anyone's appearance, good or bad. Bad, naturally, is insulting and hurtful, but sometimes even a kind mention like "Oh, you are looking so great!" can be misinterpreted to mean that the person looked bad before now. Unless it is an occasion when comments are expected, like a wedding, or if someone specifically asks me, I don't say anything about how someone looks. I'm happy if everyone reciprocates.

I'm sorry but Joy is an awful moderator, all she's got is "ya know" and then "ya know" another 20 times. No people don't always know "ya know", that's why you bunch of screaming harpies are there, "ya know".

As for commenting on how people look, I thought Sunny looked very nice today & Sarah looked like she had been sick, which she has, but I'll keep my thoughts to myself.

^ I'm pulling out my smallest violin for Alyssa. 🙄 She's done much worse things in her life than ask someone if they're pregnant, that's for sure. I'm wondering when she and Sara will leave already since they feel so persecuted, lol.

Joy is no doubt the show's best moderator after Meredith, then Rosie next. Barbara and Whoopi were (are, in Whoopi's case) both good and bad in different ways. Barbara could be way too boring, but could add more gravity to a serious discussion; Whoopi is a trainwreck sometimes, but she brings the fire to certain topics and she's the only one who can handle certain guests who talk a mile a minute or shout. Still, I do prefer when Joy's just one of the co-hosts since she gets to give her opinions more that way.

I noticed that also, but especially in the past month.

My suspicious mind says that she's trying to obscure the statements of the others who refute her comments, besides reinforcing her point.

Perhaps  supported and encouraged by producers, which makes me disgusted again with media bias.

That was something the last co-host used to do, too. You know you're off the map when you're not even trying to argue the point anymore and the only thing you can do is try to stop the truth from being heard. I'm glad Joy made sure Sunny was able to get her sentence out when Sara talked over her.

This is re Alyssa.  I think she shares 1/5 the time to present her points. Four others "mostly" present a united-ish front.  Mimicking Sunny, she has learned that she HAS to jump right in...HAS to keep talking...no matter what.  No matter what point she makes, Whoopi loves to swoop in and shut her down.  I am not a Republican.

The only good thing about today’s show was learning there is a documentary about the real Karen Silkwood. I watched the movie years ago on VHS, and for some reason, isn’t available anywhere to watch.

Quoting myself that hahaha, since Hulu aired this news special, that the movie is also now also streaming there!

But alas, the stupid special just leaves you hanging and if you want to learn more of what they uncovered, you have to go to some podcast. No thanks.

But the movie got it right-she was murdered. That much was revealed with newly discovered tapes.
