CrazyInAlabama November 27 Author Share November 27 (edited) Thanks to whoever fixed my double posting. I was thrilled to see Vannessa come through surgery, and her sister take care of her so long. However, I really think she should have gone to skilled nursing for at least a few days. There were probably better choices for restaurants to eat at, but very few places will allow filming. It either needs to be a place that's closed and will allow filming, or has a private dining area. In a regular restaurant they would have to get filming waivers from everyone in camera view. Pi237 November 27 Share November 27 I’m surprised they let someone go home who had that much stitching. I’d be terrified. Good for Vanessa tho. I hope she doesn’t suffer any complications and loves her results. Too much crying man baby this episode. Sorry, that’s mean, but I’d rather follow the women. I never relate to the single, childless men who still live with their Moms. We get it with his storyline already. It’s been repeated over and over. Enough. Move on. They all had some very Full plates at that restaurant! Kind of a bad place to have dinner for someone who’s struggling. Talk about entrapment lol I know I can’t resist a beautiful bowl of tortillas and salsa!! Tinas regret is more interesting. I hope she gets out of her depression. It’s not uncommon after this surgery and the loss of your comfort-eating. I’m glad she had fun at the water aerobics. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150832-s03e05-the-assassination-of-betsy-mae/#findComment-8519547
SunnyBeBe November 30 Share November 30 (edited) I’m just watching this now on demand. So, I don’t understand why after all these people have been though they don’t seem to have any appreciation for good nutrition. The idea of dining at that type of restaurant is ludicrous, imo. So….it was producer directed? Idk. Crazy stuff, but I think I might have ordered coffee and water and let the others eat what they like. That environment is toxic for food addicts. That kind of thing might be ok for a person who’s been at goal weight for several years….not struggling and still very obese. To me, these shows don’t focus enough on healthy eating. They stress deprivation instead of celebrating awesome, whole foods that are the basis of a daily diet. SunnyBeBe December 5 Share December 5 Recall Scott’s therapist? Who is she? She’s appeared as a therapist on another show years ago. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150832-s03e05-the-assassination-of-betsy-mae/#findComment-8524918

Dr. Paradise is my favorite, followed by Lola and her sweet voice and 100 wigs. Which show was she on? Lola and Dr. Paradise were on My 600 Pound Life and in Texas, but I’m not sure about Dr. Conti. She’s in GA. I think s different show. SunnyBeBe December 5 Share December 5 (edited) Could you tell what the surgeon did regarding Megan’s breast area? They described it with glee, but what happened? I would think they would have had to uplift, which would involve removing, then reattaching the nipples and putting in implants. I’m speculating based on what I’ve seen other patients encounter on other shows. She seems very pleased, whatever he did. Texasmom2323 December 11 Share December 11 Vanessa has worked so hard, good for her. Myself I am turning 55 this year and have been fighting the extra 15 pounds I gained after my hysterectomy in March. Hearing them talk about the emotional dependency of food made me realize I am hanging on to sweets since my daughter Madison passed away in 2018. She and I would eat ice cream together a few days a week. I really need to work on it. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150832-s03e05-the-assassination-of-betsy-mae/#findComment-8529754
