  1. That challenge was in Season 19 "Doppelgangers", which was won by Jackson and Buddha. So I guess Buddha was a good choice for guest judge for this challenge. Check out "The Dish with Kish" where Buddha makes a FLW inspired Guggenheim Neopolitan.
  2. We first saw Mimi in Season 17, Sebastian's season. On the first challenge she was the model for Kovid, and she said she was the first transgender model on Project Runway. Kovid was honored. I think CoVid had a lot to do with it.
  3. I find it interesting that when the judges were deciding who would go home, they referenced that Brittany had over the season presented many good designs. Her puffer jacket for the avant garde was dinged as a miss by the judges. However Rami at least made an attempt at an architectural look and tried to step out of his comfort zone. So which was it - someone who missed entirely or someone who tried and missed? I thought each challenge was based on that challenge alone, not taking what they've done in the past. One day you're, the next day you're out. I think Brandon and Elaine favored Brittany as they knew her from last season. Nina, who has been there for every season, stood up for Rami. Forget the guest judges. I have never favored anything I saw Brittany produce; the judges have always fallen all over her. But what do I know. I would have loved to see a collection by Rami; I am sure it would have had classy elegant clothes that women could actually wear. So the fix was in for the new kids (I do like Bishme). If they had kept Pradje over Lawrence last week, it would be an all new kids finale.
  4. I get tired of Robin/Kody/Meri saying that Christine left "the family". Last I looked Christine and Janelle had eleven kids between them, plus grands; that would make them "the larger family " . The Robin/Kody section does not constitute the larger family. But this larger unit, which live mostly away from Flagstaff, should travel to spend the holidays at the Robin/Kody mansion? Why couldn't that AZ group go to` Utah? They could see the kids that they don't see too often. I know...COVID..
  5. This was Sergio in Season 18, which Geoffrey Mac won. The gowns were beautiful, and beautifully made, but it was way too much. He also embroidered murdered children's names on a skirt for a challenge, and I am sure there were other "causes" he used for a story behind his work.
  6. Sara's dessert sounded delicious, but why did she serve just a couple of crumbles instead of a slice or a cube?
  7. I so enjoyed this show the first season. They themselves purchased old dilapidated historic homes and restored them, giving us a history lesson about the house and the town along the way. When the project was finished they held an open house for the neighbors and townspeople. This season seems to be more of renovating older homes that people have purchased. It seems like the team does not have as much a stake in the projects as before. It's a having to listen to what the homeowners want as opposed to being historically correct in the renovations. The home from this week was built in 1830, hardly "before America was America" as advertised in the beginning of the show. I would like to see more houses like last season, far more interesting. I hope they haven't run out of houses to renovate!
  8. Today POP is starting to show the elusive season 7 if anyone’s interested.
  9. One thought. What if the newspaper coverage changed after they went back to stop it? Kat wouldn’t have seen the item about two women running into the woods because it hadn’t happened yet. So essentially they did change history. It was them and not some deer crossing the road that caused the crash.
  10. I will say it annoys me no end when Meghan refers to Dr. Proctor as Proctor. None of the other ladies do that. Give the man the respect he deserves; he saved your life by performing the surgery!
  11. One thing I'm wondering about (well, one of many things) They showed Aunt Cara's letters spill out on the deck from Alex's valise. They looked o=perfectly fine as Alex read the address of Bozeman Montana on them. Why weren't these ruined when the tugboat capsized? Is her case waterproof or something?
  12. Dr. Proctor did tell Vanessa that he was referring her to some plastic surgeons to get an an idea of what needed to be done and when, probably to help keep her spirits up while she loses the last of her weight.
  13. Bumping this up for reference since she was on a WATN last night.
  14. What? No one has mentioned that Meri brushed her hair?
