DanaK Wednesday at 04:22 PM Share Wednesday at 04:22 PM (edited) Quote 11/20/2024 (08:00PM - 09:00PM) (Wednesday) : Goodwin's troubles persist. Charles clashes with his former resident over a depressed patient. Lenox and Ripley treat a car accident victim who recently reunited with his college sweetheart. MediaZone4K Thursday at 02:40 AM Share Thursday at 02:40 AM Riveting stuff!!! I totally understand where knife woman was coming from. To give life to a person who caused an accident not the victim!! But this is not the way. Why would Goodwin get so close to someone with a knife, I get that she was trying to reason with her but that was a big risk. 4 Link to comment
MediaZone4K Thursday at 12:50 PM Share Thursday at 12:50 PM (edited) Seeing Goodwin get stabbed is like your aunt or grandmother get attacked. It felt uncomfortable. Sidebar...S Epetha looks great. I don't know if she got a new stylist since her days on Law & Order but she dresses better, looks younger, and has better hairstyles now. Edited Thursday at 03:09 PM by MediaZone4K 4 Link to comment
Sandman Thursday at 05:33 PM Share Thursday at 05:33 PM (edited) Does anyone else find the direction the show is taking the Sarah Reese character just sad? I was really hoping the show wouldn’t just reprise the ugly way they wrote Reese out of the show. ETA: I think it makes sense for Goodwin to have a completely different look from Lt. Van Buren. She’s in a (very likely) higher paid position, in a charge of a bigger chunk of a different institution; her position is also more overtly social, at least partly about making donors and board members feel looked after. It seems likely that her style would be a little more polished, her competence packaged in a way that’s a little more soignée. Edited Thursday at 05:47 PM by Sandman 3 Link to comment

I wonder if they're going the "she's got sociopathy like her dad" route. 1 2 Link to comment
cameron Friday at 01:33 PM Share Friday at 01:33 PM I noticed right away when they show the hands writing the note that it was probably a women's. But don't remember if she was on that particular episode when that boat accident happened and all the events that followed. Link to comment
Diana Berry Friday at 07:19 PM Share Friday at 07:19 PM Wow another intense show ( same with svu) as a mid season finale. So glad it wasn’t nice boyfriend doctor. 3 Link to comment

It looks like she's had a makeover in her personal life as well. Link to comment
Diana Berry Saturday at 03:55 PM Share Saturday at 03:55 PM I hope when the show returns Goodwin is able to joke with Archer and say his resignation letter saved her life…now tear it up. 3 Link to comment
DanaK Saturday at 05:57 PM Author Share Saturday at 05:57 PM I thought it was interesting that the writers had Goodwin's attacker be not so sure about actually killing her Link to comment
amarante 4 hours ago Share 4 hours ago Epatha's character on L&O was styled deliberately as she was a ground breaking glass ceiling crasher - a Lt being a WOC back then. She dressed to blend in - she wore a wig so that she didn't have a "threatening" hair style and her clothes were as unfashionable as the male counter parts on the squad. Times have changed and Goodwin is an extremely high ranking executive who needs to look polished because of the people she interacts with as an executive. She is also free to wear braids and not the non-threatening hair style of Van Buren. Link to comment
