But I don't think she's a villian, she's part of life. She can't actually kill anyone, it's not allowed. She just collects them when they are dead. I think 2 out of the 7 are still in play. I only counted 5 that fell on the swords. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150213-s01e07-death%E2%80%99s-hand-in-mine/page/2/#findComment-8491165

I don't think Billy is a green witch, so Rio would have to do it. Will she, or will they have to find another way through it? I think it has to be Billy's trial, and he must be a green witch I guess. (does anyone have an actual definition for what a green witch is/what their powers would be?) Jac has confirmed that Billy was the black heart on Lilia's coven list. She couldn't write his actual name because of the sigil and Eddie had referred to him as a black heart in their texts. When the coven meets, they insist that they need a green witch, which Agatha tries to dismiss because she's under the mistaken assumption that it was Rio on the list. She recruits Mrs Hart/Sharon to appease the other 3 to get them going. But actually, she was never needed. Nor needed to be replaced once she died in the first trial. Each trial tests the witch in question but then gives them what they need. Jen got the confidence to use her skill even though she's still bound, Alice killed the generational curse, Lilia was able to put together the fractured pieces of her life, Agatha got power (at least for a moment). Not sure how Billy will be tested, since he's never been a practicing witch before. Though he has done much research and recently was given back his spell book, that can't be a coincidence. Whatever it is, I can't wait. And am so frustrated that I'll actually be at Disney World when the episodes next week release so I'll have to watch late that night on my iPad because you can't watch Disney+ on Disney World TVs! 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150213-s01e07-death%E2%80%99s-hand-in-mine/page/2/#findComment-8491169
Sakura12 October 26 Share October 26 Maybe it's Rio and Billy's trial. Rio may even be there because of him. She was supposed to collect William Kaplan but Billy moved in before she could. Rio is the Original Green Witch that draws power from the Earth. But she's abstract entity not a human. I don't know if she counts. If we go by the colors of powers, Billy's are blue which makes him a water witch. Since he was created by the Scarlet Witch, he may be a Chaos witch like his mother. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150213-s01e07-death%E2%80%99s-hand-in-mine/page/2/#findComment-8491197
Morrigan2575 October 26 Share October 26 Is Rio supposed to be Lady Death? Thanos and Deadpool's main squeeze in the Comics? 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150213-s01e07-death%E2%80%99s-hand-in-mine/page/2/#findComment-8491204

Her Funko just says "Death" but it's possible that they aren't making the distinction in the show. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150213-s01e07-death%E2%80%99s-hand-in-mine/page/2/#findComment-8491265
Sakura12 October 26 Share October 26 (edited) I don't think this version of Death hooked up with Thanos or Deadpool. Maybe they gave Thanos story to Agatha, she killed so many people to impress Death. And I guess she still could date Deadpool. I liked the hints they sprinkled in about her identity. She was in the neighboorhood collecting Sharon's soul, she told them she was the Green Witch in a demony voice when they met her. Then Agatha made sure they all heard that she collects bodies, Agatha pleaded with her to not take Teen when he was hurt, even the spirts told them with the oujia board that death was with them. She also didn't seem at all surprised to be summoned to the road. She's probably been on it many times collecting the witches that die on it. Out of all the great things in this episode, that line is my favorite. Unexpected and delivered in such a great way. Not giving Patti LuPone a vocal highlight of her own should be a burn-at-the-stake offense for the writers and show runner. Unless she gets one later, or she specifically asked not to have one. Hopefully, she'll at least be considered for some sort of award for her performance. 8 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150213-s01e07-death%E2%80%99s-hand-in-mine/page/2/#findComment-8491357

Hmm but with every other moment she jumped to they at least were moments that were part of her life/story. Assuming she does die in the tower there's no alive Lila after that moment who made it out of there who she could 'take over' from for a few minutes? 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150213-s01e07-death%E2%80%99s-hand-in-mine/page/2/#findComment-8491662

Cattoy October 30 Share October 30 Okay, so I caught a fan video on Youtube that theorized that Billy created the road all along, similar to Wanda creating her version of Westview. I'm leaning into it. If so, it could mean no one has truly died there. And I'm leaning into that, too. I know it's a bit silly to count on continuity in a Marvel project at this point, but in Doctor Strange, the Ancient One couldn't see beyond her death. But Lilia gave Agnes a warning for something that will happen later, but then she "died" with the Seven. We'll see how it turns out!
