WTF - I didn't even know there was an episode last night. My local station bumped it for a football game. Then it showed up on my DVR around 12:30 am. And it said Tuesday and I thought - did I go into the future? Did my DVR somehow tape tonight's episode in advance? Totally confused.

Hair metal seems like a bad choice for ballroom dancing.

No episode last weeks so two nights this week.

First up Danny and Witney, they a dance a paso.

It wasn't  great, it wasnt  bad. I love his shirt off.

Yeah, between the dance starting where it did off the main floor and him struggling to remove his jacket, I think that did trip them up some.

I counted 14 steps in Reggie’s dance.

C'mon people. Reginald barely moved. Put this man out of his misery. I watch this show to see dancing not standing. I don't care how beloved he is. This is not his venue.

Poor Reginald. He actually looks like he’s in pain. I love him but it might be time for him to go home and rest that knee.

Ah, Gene Simmons’s made Reginald tear up. that was beautiful.

I think Danny may have hit his ceiling. He moves better than expected but I don't see a lot of improvement. Between his last dance and this one he almost seems to be going in the wrong direction.

If Reginald has had limited movement from a knee replacement why would he come on a dancing show?  Makes no sense…

Chandler is obviously great but she seems like a ringer, and I'm sick of the Disney stars.

Chandler and Brandon dance a jive. 

That was terrific. Fast with good choreography, I know she's  danced before,  but I really  enjoy her.

Yeah, I mean I enjoy Chandler's numbers because they are so good but it's hard to root for her because she's already so perfect. I prefer to watch the ones who are more unexpectedly good and are kind of underdogs.

It was a fairly good dance.

Thanks to Derrick's little tutorial on the Cha Cha last night I have a better grasp on how it's supposed to go. So Brooks was good, but not much Cha Cha?

They slowed the song for Brooke, and she’s still posing. As much as I don’t like them, Brooke’s and gleb have the right hair and clothes. Derek’s hair is punk not hair band.

LOL first 10 of the season then they had to take it back. Not the contestant the show wanted to have the first 10 of the season I bet. That's what happens when you include these guest judges.

The audience loved this, I loved the dance, but I didn't  see a lot of Cha Cha.  That's just me,  I do love her though.

Enjoyed the Jive from Chandler but she was more comfortable with the Cha Cha.

This was my least favorite of Stephen's dances. I just didn't see a lot of movement. Not as impressive as what he's done so far.

But then, I still think this is a lousy theme for a ballroom dance show.

That said, I normally don't go for the whole "hair band" look, but uh, Stephen's kinda making it work?

True, but the judges have been tossing 6's around at contestants who make Master P look like Fred Astaire.

I tend to agree with those who say it's going to be hard for most of the contestants to have really strong dances tonight in general, just 'cause of the musical style. 

"Walk This Way" is not a hair metal song.

Dwight so much better tonight.

He is so, so tall with long, long legs so I think his deficiencies show up more than say, Phaedra.
