What the hell is Jenny wearing? Everyone else looks nice, and she looks out of place for this show. 
 

I wonder if Wasp got a simple costume so he could show off his dance skills every week. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a gorgeous costume, but it’s really just backpack type wings and a tail. There have been many others where the person seems like they’re struggling to even walk.

Hmmm...it's gotten kind of dusty here in my house...I haven't had this reaction since Chris Daughtry sang "Someone You Loved".

Can we just give the Buffaloes the trophy now? I know groups don’t generally fare well, but if they don’t make it to the finale, it’ll be a massive fail.

I know Strawberry Shortcake is technically the better singer between herself snd Goo, but I find him a much more captivating performer. And I hate the breathy sing-y thing she does, though that may be partially mask related.

I’m surprised they didn’t bring in a guest panelist since Rita’s out sick. 
 

Can’t believe how much they’re dragging this season out, but I’m so grateful for no dumb clip show/sing-along episode.

If it’s a massive reveal, Nick just said who leaves. Or I’m just way out of the loop since I have no idea who Strawberry Shortcake is.

I've been meaning to ask....Nick doesn't seem to always know who the singers are until each unmasking. Are they telling him during the break right before the unmasking? I would really love to see one where he didn't know the singer's name and had to ask "Who are you?" when the mask came off. It would be comedy gold.

So that's why I didn't get the hosting job!  Other than from spoilers, I don't know who a lot of these people are!  😜

Ineed, it would be comedy gold if Nick didn't recognize the celebrity!  The production team's heads would explode!  Not sure when he's told, but they have to give him the info ahead of time or at the very least into an earpiece while the unmasking is taking place.  Otherwise he might have to ask Ken - who always knows "exactly who the performer is".  😆

I always assumed he was reading everything off a teleprompter. Even if they told him ahead of time, expecting him to memorize the celebrities accolades is asking too much I think.

I've always thought he does know who they are. It seems to me like he says the name a little too soon. Like when the mask is almost completely off.

Sometimes I think he has figured out who it is, but sometimes I think he doesn't.  I always assumed he is wearing an earpiece and production tells him who it is after the announcement of who is going home, during what we see as the commercial break.  I think all of the screamed embellishment and hyperbole ("international recording artist and superstar Nikki Glaser!!!!!") is his own.  Nikki Glaser clearly isn't an international recording artist and I think she even made fun of that appelation the next time when she appeared as an ambassador by introducting herself as "international recording superstar".

I had no idea who Strawberry Shortcake is.  Not only did I not recognise her, I don't think I have ever heard her name before in my life.  Looks like she stars or starred on some Disney teen or tween show?  Made me feel so incredibly old.

I only know A.J. from her previous regular appearances on The Goldbergs.  She portrayed the sister's best friend and eventually became the girlfriend of the oldest brother, Barry.  They spun her off onto her own show (called Schooled, I believe) where she was a teacher at the high school from where she and the Goldberg sibs had graduated, (with a built-in time lapse to compensate for her having gone to college before the spin off's setting).  I only remember seeing it once, and it disappeared quite quickly.

I'm going to have to look out for that now. I'm always wondering if it's really that difficult, or if they're faking difficulty in getting the mask off, thinking that they're being suspenseful, lol.

Me too. I was a fan of The Goldbergs and Schooled. According to imdb there were 34 episodes of it. I guessed from the first time Strawberry Shortcake sang  and Haley Orrantia was on I knew it possibly could be AJ.
