snarktini August 10 Share August 10 Ok, I'm really confused -- Abigail's a tentacled body snatcher? She sent the UA to find Jennifer knowing it would be the end of the world, or did she not take over that guy's body until after that point? WTF. Poor 5. He's had a sad life, and the bit of happiness he found has to end. 4 Link to comment

ItCouldBeWorse August 14 Share August 14 (edited) Hard to believe that Lila wasn't miserable over being separated from her kids years ago. And she can't be sure if she'll be going back to shortly after she and Five left, or 7 years later, when they'll no longer be little. In spite of the whole icky sleeping-with-your-sister/brother-in-law thing, at least Five isn't really in his 20's; he's actually much older than Lila. And Lila is definitely a step up from his last "love", Delores the mannequin. Being stuck in time does crazy things to a guy. 1 Link to comment

Then he was an assassin trapped in a kid's body, plus there were a few apocalypses. We don't know about his private life in the final timeline, but it's possible he's never had significant time alone with any female. So Lila's likely his "first" in a couple of ways (I wonder if she realized that.) It makes sense that he'd fall in love with her. Edited August 15 by ItCouldBeWorse 2 Link to comment
chaifan August 15 Share August 15 OK, I'll admit it. I'm just plain confused as to what's going on with Five and Lila... I get that they can't find their stop back to the right timeline, but the "subway" maps we've seen are not infinite. There might be 100-200 stops. So how is this taking them 6 years+ to try all the stops? Also, is every timeline an apocalypse? That doesn't make sense to me. They've chosen to stay in the one with the nice greenhouse and strawberries, but where are all the people? To be honest, none of this season is making sense to me. Maybe I need one of those "explain it to me like I'm 5" threads. 5 Link to comment
tennisgurl August 15 Share August 15 This is the second to last episode of the entire series? Really? We spent our time watching either shenanigans that we could get in any episode or we got this weird romance between Lila and Five. I guess getting together with your sister in law is at least better than being in love with a mannequin? I guess? I am still not sure why exactly Lila and Five are stuck on the infinite subway anyway, nor do I even understand what the point of this plot is. Is there really nothing else that we could be doing? What a good ghost puppy. 2 2 Link to comment
maddie965 August 19 Share August 19 I kind of liked this episode, because it's clearly inspired by The Magicians, where two characters (two beautiful boys) get stuck in a timelune for years and fall in love. But one of them is in denial later. Hope Five and Lila can find a way to stay together. Proof of concept, anyone? Maybe the season will have two parts? No way they can solve this in two episodes. Jerzy August 21 Share August 21 Guys, I have a question and hope someone here will help me, otherwise I'd need to see the whole episode once again. There was a part of dialogue (I think it came from Lila) that was a direct quote from some big movie. I noticed that while watching and forgot and now I'm literally dying, trying to remember what it was. I can't. Can anyone please help? Thanks a lot. Link to comment
dkb September 8 Share September 8 ewwww Lila and Five. Why would you do that in your 2nd last episode? I get maybe you wanna show that not all couples make it, but did we have to do the cheating route? Poor Diego, having a new understanding of family comes first, before some "cool" job and Lila and Five doing that. Luther still being amazing this season, and Allison, Claire and Klaus were great this episode. Maybe this Reginald isn't as bad as the others by a smidge. Ben shut up and listen to Viktor. @Jerzy I don't recall anything specific about her dialogue in this episode. Link to comment
