After Dante's old training partner is taken hostage while working undercover in an illegal casino, McCall hires J.J., a former gambling addict (guest star Mike Epps), to assist with the mission. Meanwhile, Dee joins a peer counseling group and learns that some students have been bullying her on a social media page, on the CBS Original series THE EQUALIZER, Sunday, March 17 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+

I give Delilah a slight break because her heart is i the right place. But I think her military ambitions are not realistic. Didn't we learn that her mom HAD to go in the Army (as in enlist or go to jail)?

As for the snarky bullies, I was expecting D to say something like:yeah, it's been a minute since one of my best friends was killed right in front of me and I was held hostage in an attempted robbery. Frankly, I was hoping Harry would f*ck up their lives via social media. But I'm petty that way.

Just don't let Delilah become a venture capitalist! ;-)

Fashion highlights: I'd say everyone's coats, but Robyn's patterned one especially. Also the Brunette wig when Robyn was undercover.

I thought this was a good one. Although it was a stretch that Bad Guy would immediately let his not-really-a friend who just got out of prison in on ALL his criminal operations. In any case, I did like Mike Epps as a guest star.

Dee's dad is getting divorced? I don't see why they're introducing this plotline; it's not like we see him or his wife (I don't remember if they have kids) regularly anyway. Are they planning some story that requires him to be single?

Was also lowkey hoping Harry would get involved with the cyberbullying B-plot.

I am still thinking about that coat!!

I liked Aunt Vi's, but I think having a white coat is asking for trouble. One sit on an outdoor bench or brush against a wall and you're done. I liked the fabric and the style otherwise, though.

I think it's super-weird that Delilah thinks the military is the only place where you can find people who are trying to help other people and make the world a better place. It's just not a credible line of thinking. It's more believable that she just hero-worships her mom.

It really is. Aren't there kids like that at her high school? There were a lot of kids at my high school who did charity work and other things all the time, has that changed? If not college is a great place to find people who are more like Delilah. They have clubs and programs for everyone.

I think sometimes we don't understand our own motivations and attribute it to something else.  Could be she admires what her mom (and her trainer, Mel) does and the army would be her path to that.

And, yeah, there would be other kids in school that do good, and it was probably one of them that stood up for her, but like she said, it shouldn't bother her but it does.  That makes sense.  Most of us want to be liked and to hear that a bunch of people are putting you down hurts, whether those people are in your group or not.

I don't notice the clothes. I'm more likely to notice homes.

Forgot to mention: Still annoyed with them delaying Robyn/Dante. We're in Season 4, and they still can't go out for drinks? Come on!

I guess it shouldn't be surpising they would pull that when it took so long for him to even know what her name was, but it is still very annoying.  When Vi was warning Robyn that if you put things off for too long, it may never happen or something like that, I changed it to, "If you put things off for too long, the show might get cancelled."  (Not that this would happen because of them not being together, but that the show could get dropped for business reasons even with good ratings and then nothing would ever happen between them!)  A friend who is a fan of Latifah but has never watched the show occasionally asks me what is going on in the show, and even she is like, "They'll probably never get together."

It's really odd, especially since Robyn was openly flirting with Marcus in the first season.  And they were certainly closer after she rescued him in season 2.

But now, despite him in the know and on board with the vigilante work, she's pulled back. If one or the other simply said they weren't interested, I could live with that.  But I'm not sure what's going on the writer's room.
