mojoween March 7 Share March 7 Is Colleen super bitchy, or is there a language barrier? She was extra aggressive about stuff *she* did. The shock and delight of the whole cast when they showed Berna and Emanuel going in to the bathroom is the most genuine anyone has ever been on this show. Jay can dish it out, and can absolutely not take it. Noted. 5 Link to comment
MMLEsq March 7 Share March 7 (edited) I was greatly amused by Jay's sulking. Flat-out denying what everyone witnessed....including Olivia, who admitted to participating in whatever went on...was pretty ridiculous and just made him look like a liar on top of being a cheater. I was impressed by Melissa's apology to Raven (for throwing the drink at her), which seemed very genuine. Will it stop Melissa from going off on someone again? Probably not, but she did seem contrite. Berna seems like a very high maintenance friend. It was sweet to hear Tori singing Jordan's praises when it came to the greatest Challenge champion ever. And, it's interesting that the consensus seemed to be Laurel for greatest female champion ever. I think Evelyn should have been mentioned in that conversation. ETA: For a split second, when they asked Cara Maria for her thoughts, I almost thought she was going to say herself (and, legitimately, a good argument could be made that Cara Maria has performed better than Laurel). I think she just didn't want to come off as egotistical. Edited March 7 by MMLEsq 7 Link to comment
bunnyface March 7 Share March 7 Turns out Jay is an even bigger ass than we imagined. Who could have thought that possible? No, I think Colleen just is that bitchy. She always looked smug and smirky in her talking heads. I think she is smug and smirky and thinks she's smarter than everyone in the room. I was reasonably proud of Evelyn when she stood up to the crew on The Island, but I will always remember her sulking when she didn't get her way on...Fresh Meat? The one in Canada. And then literally pitching a hissy fit when she lost the elimination because *she would not listen* to her partner and swore she'd never lose if she played alone. Even TJ called her a toddler. So I can't put her in the best of the best. And in the league of dish it out but can't take it, Michelle was happy enough when Berna's embarrassing moment was played (and everyone else's) but threatens to walk out when they say they are going to play her shit? No, that's not how that works, honey. You're Jay. 8 Link to comment
joanne3482 March 7 Share March 7 I liked that Nurys got her say with Jay. I wish she had also focused on his manipulation of her. He was trying to play the victim but he was constantly manipulating her so that she'd have to 'prove' her loyalty. Based on his whole demeanor and presence, I hope he won't return. He was very hostile the whole second part. I also hope his girlfriend dumps him and I appreciate Olivia coming clean about whatever happened with them. Callum is still icky. I don't necessarily understand the Kyland/Asaf fight, nor did the captioning provide me with what they were saying. 🤣 I get it was about mothers and testosterone. I suppose that's really all there is to it. 3 Link to comment
luckyroll3 March 7 Share March 7 Producer: You and Berna were in the bathroom together. What happened there? Emmanuel: Yeah, if you're in the bathroom with someone, doesn't mean that something happens. Closed captions: [Sounds of something happening.] Me: 5 Link to comment

I think it's been more than 8, maybe even 10 seasons. But I have to say that I am enjoying the heck out of this one. Folks openly being called out for shady stuff both on and off the show has been great. And although I don't know why the champs are here, I giggle every time they get gleeful about all the drama happening on the stage because it's other people and not them this time. 5 Link to comment

I suppose that's really all there is to it. Yeah. His eyes getting beadier and meaner with every second (Jay's, that is, not Kyland's or even Asaf's) and his mouth getting more and more clenched into a straight line were just so telling. And they replayed that bit in the deliberations where he pulls a childish face when Kyland is...just talking. I wouldn't mind seeing Michele without Jay just to see if (as Laurel suggested she hasn't yet) she learns from her mistakes. And at least she owns her mistakes and flaws. Jay is such a hypocrite. "You bring too much drama," said to Big T and Melissa by the guy wearing a marching band uniform. Corey should keep the non-mushroom 'do. James gets the manspreading award. Sounds like the physical distance did him and Moriah in? Whatever, they don't seem too bothered. I agree that Colleen didn't come off that well, but in her clip, neither did Berna, going on and on and on about how horrible Colleen was. Like with Jay, I find Berna a hypocrite and would be happy not to see her again. Awww, Horatio saying he was the most overrated.... 5 Link to comment
WInterfalls March 7 Share March 7 So multiple witnesses and Olivia admits it happened but Jay is just going to stick with "no you're all lying"? Bold strategy let's see how that works out for you. 40 minutes ago, Jobiska said: "You bring too much drama," said to Big T and Melissa by the guy wearing a marching band uniform. Yeah but see Emmanuel doesn't understand this is a reality show and the people on it should be interesting not just hiding in the background. I do hope we never see him again because he's so boring. He hooks up with half the women on the cast, wins the whole thing, and still manages to be less interesting than unbuttered toast. I do not like Colleen. I can't give more specifics just no to her. The same with Asaf. Callum is dog and I as much as I don't like Michele she did not deserve to be treated that way. I enjoyed Ed in SLA, but he contributed nothing here and I'm starting to thing he might be as boring as Emmanuel. 3 Link to comment
mojoween March 7 Author Share March 7 Was Laurel cheated on in a former life? Because I thought Callum and Emanuel were going to be flayed alive right there on stage. 2 2 Link to comment

The funny part for me is that for the first half of the season I completely forgot she was there. I kept thinking, who is the other blonde one. I don't like Asaf because he came across as very entitled and Jay protecting him at all costs seemed odd to me. I listened to the Official Challenge Podcast and they were chatting with Laurel. I'm disappointed they didn't go harder on Jay. They were disappointed in him for not taking accountability for the Olivia stuff but no commentary at all on the Nurys gaslighting. (They did talk about the gaslighting but it was more in the context of the Olivia situation). I did find it interesting that part of the reason Laurel went so hard on Callum was related to Nicole. I guess there's some past history there he was super supportive of Nicole on some show they were all on, not The Challenge but an Ex on the Something, and she's still mad about that. She apparently lit into him while they were all out together between day 1 and day 2 which is why she thinks he is actually semi-contrite when he cried this episode. Oh and he's apparently super "famous" in Europe and not used to people calling him on his baloney. 1 Link to comment
Lantern7 March 11 Share March 11 Big fat meh. At least it was shown that Jay can’t take it like he can dish it out, but I think we knew that already. Bring on All Stars! Which will probably be an epic fail too! Link to comment
Remlab May 28 Share May 28 I love that Devin says what everyone is thinking. “You all started banging!” He is one of my favorites and when he’s in the cast I know we’re going to get good talking heads. Link to comment
