jewel21 January 20 Share January 20 Quote Ruzek gets mixed up in a case after a late-night poker game is raided. Afraid of becoming like his father, Ruzek struggles to stand down and allow Intelligence to carry out the investigation while he remains on leave. Airdate: 01/24/2024 Link to comment
preeya January 25 Share January 25 There was no way that Zuco was going to survive the episode. Now Ruzek has more shit to add to his "not-PTSD." 3 Link to comment
FnkyChkn34 January 25 Share January 25 A member of the team going rogue. A CI getting shot and dying. Lather, rinse, repeat. Maybe it's the effects of the writers' strike still, but they need some new material. 1 Link to comment
anna0852 January 25 Share January 25 Significant improvement over last week, simply because there was much more focus on Adam. Now we just need more Kevin! 4 Link to comment
Guildford January 25 Share January 25 So much better than last weeks snooze fest. Another CI dying wasn't needed but I must say actually hearing Adam admit he's no good without the job, that he knows if he doesn't get back he will fill his time with bad shit & he'll lose Kim & Mack was kinda heartbreaking. At least he knows who he is. But for the love of god... Adam, stay the fuck out of it. Let the team do their thing, as shady as it always is. I'm sorry the comedy of the hour was provided by none other than Sanctimonious Barbie... demanding to be looped in... with all the shit she's pulled & knowing that she still hasn't told Burgess about Roy... GTFO woman. The roof scene with Kim was a bit OTT & clearly CGI which just took me out of the whole thing, but overall a much improved hour. Domestic Adam folding washing, grocery shopping (including annoying Platt) was cute. Link to comment
jewel21 January 26 Author Share January 26 I liked Zuco and he was cute, so naturally he had to die. Apparently I can't have nice things. 2 Link to comment
Snazzy Daisy January 26 Share January 26 (edited) Kim not telling the whole truth to Kevin about Zaco and what’s going on with Adam is really out of character. These 3 are the true definition of ride or die. Oh man, this show really needs a new showrunner and a whole new set of writers. Their tunnel vision is killing the show from within. They cannot get themselves out of the character-centric format cycle, ignoring the fact that this is an ensemble show. Everything becomes annoyingly REPETITIVE now: An Intelligence team member going rogue or doing something unintelligent or out of character. Someone hides the truth about the case from the team. Voight has to clean up the mess and/or to pick up the pieces. A new CI emerges out of nowhere and he/she will die at the end of the episode. The Intelligence team member is left traumatized and/or in deep guilt. This emotional trauma/distress will be revisited after 3-4 episodes. Dante Torres has been benched for 2 weeks straight. S11 premiere was Hailey-centric, why can’t she be taken off E02 instead? This “we cannot afford to have ALL series regulars in one episode” BS is getting ridiculous. Gosh, they can’t even bring in Makayla on Adam-centric episode. 🙄🙄🙄 Edited January 26 by Snazzy Daisy 4 Link to comment

Honestly, if they want to shake things up on the show, have Adam actually get therapy, participate in it, and stop being such a broken person. He's gone from "a bit of a hothead" to just irrationally self-destructive and he can't even see it. Dude, you're in the middle of proving you are fit for duty - stop being a fucking idiot for five minutes and proving that you AREN'T fit. 4 Link to comment

Given what we do at this point, it's kind of amazing that she survived until adulthood. Link to comment
