Snazzy Daisy September 16, 2023 Share September 16, 2023 Doesn’t Garth know that all prison calls are monitored? Caryl is very meddling and inappropriately intrusive. Liv could be right, it’s payback time because in her mind, Liv has ruined her marriage. The very low moment for Caryl is when she blackmails Liv about the photos to force her hand. But thanks to Caryl, Liv now knows about Marissa. The way Caryl reacts to Liv’s confession is not surprising, she blames it all on Will. Easy-peasy. At this point, I don’t understand why Will still want to put on a show of a perfect marriage and to bring a baby into the picture. Is he in denial that his marriage has failed? His desire to move on like nothing happened is ridiculous and tiring. Liv… I can change, I can fix this, bla bla bla. I thought Liv is going to let Garth kill her husband, a clean way to solve her problem. But then he gets too aggressive and starts attacking her because she knew about the affair all along. *️⃣ Liv’s body count - 2 3 Link to comment
Anela September 16, 2023 Share September 16, 2023 If she leaves him, then he’s outed as a bad guy to everyone. If she stays, he gets to pretend that nothing happened. He knows he didn’t kill Cara, and it doesn’t seem like he suspects his wife. Garth showing up with a weapon, was unexpected. I guess grief and anger can push you to unexpected places. It’s weird that he tried to kill her, especially when he was just released from custody. Why not tell the police? I didn’t watch a trailer, so I thought this was going to be more quirky, not really having anyone die. 3 Link to comment

If you show concern, you’re being intrusive. If you let them live their lives, you’re accused of not caring, not taking the time to find out about their life. Being a mother can be a thankless job. 1 2 Link to comment

I’ve been on both the daughter and the mother side of that and you’re right, but Caryl is WAY over the top. This is not just showing concern, it’s about control. A few unanswered phone calls and she flies all the way over from the UK, shows up on their doorstep uninvited, and declares she’s staying for a week?! Why the hell did she think it was okay or in any way normal go to William’s office and ask his boss a bunch of nosy questions? And then she goes snooping through their apartment while they’re out to dinner. I’d certainly call that intrusive. “I’m doing this for your own good. I take no pleasures in it” was a huge lie. She was doing it for her own gratification. Threatening to take the photos to the police to extort Liv into coming “home”, WTF?! Liv is a grown-ass woman who has a home. The only think I can agree with is that Will would deserve everything he gets. She’s also a massive bitch who’s relentlessly negative, constantly finding fault and looking for things to be offended about — like searching for the wedding present she gave them and bitching that it wasn’t on display. And making snotty comments during their wedding toast. But gee, let me tell you how I really feel about this character… 1 Link to comment
ShellsandCheese September 22, 2023 Share September 22, 2023 You know I was willing to give Liv the benefit of the doubt because she didn't mean to kill Cara. She thought she was killing her husband; but her willingness to throw an innocent man under the bus was too far. Fuck her and her douchebag husband. And now Liv has killed two people (granted the latter was in self-defense but it wouldn't have happened if she hadn't killed the first one) all because she wanted revenge against her husband. I truly don't understand women like that. She should have divorced him at the very least the minute she discovered the sex tape and the fact that it wasn't a one-time fling with someone he barely knew. Remarkably enough the most likeable person on this show (Garth) got the shortest end of the stick. Will is a gaslighting asshole but Liv; she needs help. 3 Link to comment
