The first and second episodes of Season 3 are up now. Free to everyone, I believe. Is someone going to start the threads? I would, but I’m digitally challenged and would surely mess it up. 😆

I feel for you. I’m in Canada and a couple of seasons ago I got a Starz subscription only to find out it’s not shown on Starz Canada. It’s shown on W, days later, with loads of commercials to boot. 🙄

I was wondering the same thing. I like your avatar pic, by the way. 😉

I think I heard a collective cheer. They’d better actually get to Scotland. If their ship is attacked by pirates and they end up in Timbuktu, I’ll be seething.

Takes a licking and keeps on ticking. It was nice to see Mark Lewis Jones again though. I thought we had seen the last of him. Such a good actor.

They’re saving it for the final scene of the series. “I had to kill Serena to save the world. But I’m not violent. I'm not even going to swat that fly. I hope they are watching. They'll say ‘why she wouldn't even hurt a fly.’”

It’s like the final Psycho scene, but Hitch knew when to stop.

I get a chuckle out of the Canadianisms they throw in. When Lawrence asked Serena “Is there anything else we can chat about? Poutine?” I felt such a moment of Canadian pride. 😀

I have to laugh at how American producers always show snow and cold in shots of Canada as if we all live in the Yukon. Toronto and Montreal are a lot warmer in the winter than the midwest of the U.S. and get horribly hot and humid in the summer. It hit 47C (117F) with the humidex this summer!

I like Young Ian and he was great, but I agree it was too much about one person. The first part was interesting, but then it dragged. I don’t find Malva creepy either, she seems nice. I thought I missed something with all the negative comments about her. I guess people are talking ahead of the episodes that have aired and shouldn’t allude to things based on what eventually happens. I would actually expect her to be more screwed up considering the beatings and any dreams quashed. Also agree that a stable is very public and what young curious person wouldn’t have a peek.

I know this is an American forum, but not only Americans watch Outlander so may not be as familiar with its history.

I was engaged by the episode and enjoyed it. Agree about Fergus, but we’ll see where it goes. Also glad Young Ian (are we still calling him that? 😆) is still around.

I like Mark Lewis Jones too. I’ve seen him in quite a few British dramas. He’s always a good watch and is quite alluring. And yes, nice to see Alexander Vlahos in something else. I have only seen him in Versailles and agree he was superb in the role. I liked him better than Louis.
