"Even after this threat, I tried to remain calm and finish the show as I had intended to. The next morning on a car ride to brunch, the same cast member said, 'I have a plan and [I intend to execute it].' Based on the dread I was feeling about what might happen next, I chose to trust my instincts that it was time for me to go."

Julie's always been a complete asshole.

I re-watched the original season before the reunion. It wasn't just immaturity, she was narcissistic  vindictive & spiteful then. The ensuing fame & notoriety only made it worse...

Julie noticed on Real World what got her the most attention, and essentially ramped it way up. It's not a surprise that Kelley was a particular target of hers while on Homecoming because Kelley was married to a popular and well-known (especially by Kelley and Julie's generation) actor.

However, I do agree that there is also something very wrong inside Julie now, and that started some years back.

I *guess* I could agree Julie was an asshole through and through since the dawn of her reality TV tenure, but to me asshole encompasses a wide range of transgressions. I mutter “asshole” under my breath when someone doesn’t wait their turn at a four way stop, or someone who walks up to the register when a cashier opens up a new lane, and pretends they don’t see the 10 people already waiting in the original line.  
 

I actually don’t think asshole is a strong enough word to describe someone who would make a public post gloating over an acquaintance’s mental health struggle and suggest the fallout is her just desserts for the one time that person felt wronged by the struggling one.

She's also back on social media after being released from the involuntary psychiatric hold and posting lots of bizarre, erratic content. Really sad to see her publicly spiral like this and I truly fear where this is going for her.

Sounds like Scott's away filming & he apparently has his brother staying at the house. 

Kelley had called 911 earlier in the day before checking into the hotel, then a friend called the police asking them to go check on her there which is when she was detained.

She's back out now & manically posting on social media. Glad to see her father is with her but I really hope her friends/family can get her to accept help/treatment. I feel for the kids.
