I am not here for the Josh love-life drama.  I do hope we're done with his deadbeat friend.

The case wasn't that hard to figure out because what small time casino owner is going to welcome competition from a larger, shinier neighbor?

Not sure why they'd bring Greg back just to have him say he now wants to get a degree and teach?  That's fine but will he be popping up in more episodes in the meantime?

No,  Catherine, Greg's haircut does not look good on him. I realize he's too old for his spiky do. But this gives his head a weird shape. 

Main case was OK. Felt like we got more of the classic gross graphics. And there were even 2 cases. Not that we cared to see Trey again. Glad Beau was in the field without protest. Don't know why Chris is in the opening credits but Penny isn't. She gets more lines. And is a more enjoyable character.

The second explosion makes me jump. Totally unexpected and it has turned Max into a Mama Bear.

Dr. Milton is totally right. Spare limb does make for weird paperwork. Am so glad he’s still around.

The writing for Greg/Penny is fun and interesting but not for Greg/Chris. They’re making Chris a jerk - reacting negatively towards Greg’s teaching moments. 

I like Max and her momma talk to Josh, reminding him about his true self.

The show is sowing the seeds of Josh and Serena’s breakup. This is good, their relationship seems forced anyway. Can we get a new detective for S3 please?

True but that just means they're going to subject us to Josh/Allie shenanigans which is no better.

I was fine with the detective from last season.

Same! I jumped about a foot off the couch, lol. And Max was livid, I loved her stomping around and ripping the bomb squad a new one. Don't mess with Max.

I agree that I think they are laying the seeds for Josh and Serena's break up, which I'm fine with. But I'm not looking forward to Josh and Allie. Ugh, can't the show just focus on the CSI's professional lives and not their love lives? 

And while I hated Chris Park's snottiness towards Greg trying to teach them about bombs, I also hated Greg's assumption that they didn't know anything about bombs. I felt like we didn't need such an overly obvious scene to lay the groundwork for Greg thinking about going into teaching. It felt like lazy writing.

I'm kind of bummed Trey was really a crappy friend who was inadvertently responsible for a guy's death by drugs. Trey was hot and annoyed Josh, I liked him.

Another oblivious moment - Greg asking Beau if he ever heard of liquid latex. Beau’s first reaction of not knowing how to respond to that question was a bit funny.

I still think it is unusual that not a word has been said about the brother/sister medical examiners, particularly since the female almost died recently.

Greg seemed very weird to me this episode.  I don't know if it was Eric Szmanda's bad acting or the character's know it all attitude.  But his Mark Zuckerberg haircut wasn't helping.  

I don't want a Josh / Allie romance.  

Even though Trey was a total dirtbag, he was easy on the eyes.  

I like the new/temp coroner.

That was some horrible response time from EMS.  The explosion happens at night and they are still doing basic triage in the morning?

Greg's acting was borderline childish, it was so weird.

I thought the same thing, especially since it looked like it was bright daylight and not just dawn/early morning.
