Poor Emmy. Not only did her boyfriend possibly kiss another girl, but more tragically her “best frenemy” Maddie convinced her to wear blue when it was a pink day! Will cheating? No biggie. But all of the girls looked absolutely devastated when they couldn’t figure out whether it was blue or pink day. Did they run out of limes because Emmy had to stop slicing and run home?  Will Republic ever recover from this dress debacle?!?

Why am I watching this show?!?

I like this season more than last and the show's getting a reunion, but I feel like no one's really talking about it. I wonder if it'll get another season.

Maybe Grace Lilly and her cat should just get a spinoff. I feel like the only cast members I like are her and then Mia and Lucia, who don't even work at Republic anymore. I guess Emmy's okay, but every time she and Will talk about their relationship, I have a hard time keeping my eyes open.

I was so confused about this phone call, so Maddi was on the call, then lied and faked and cried to Joe about it. So she is going to lose all her friends/co-workers over this dumbass boyfriend? As someone who has a family member who is a recovering addict, they are used to lying. I found Grace Lilly so unlikeable last season, but I like her this season. Joe is fake and two-faced.

It sounds like Maddi is the Reality Von Tease (Monica RHSLC) of this show. She went to great lengths to record and edit this phone call to make it seem like her boyfriend did NOT cheat on her, and throw Bradley under the bus as a bonus—but knowing all along that her boyfriend DID cheat on her. Why not just say, yeah, I know my boyfriend has repeatedly cheated on me, but I don’t care? Had she not tried to confront the girl at the party, she might have even gotten away with it, but instead she’s screeching at her about lying and trying to assault her. (Though, the let’s talk outside and locking her out made me chuckle. As did everyone saying, Maddi, you don’t live here!) But both seasons Maddi has had a storyline about her love story for the ages, and how everyone is out to sabotage her relationship. They started off as looking out for her as a friend last season. But she has made it very clear the lengths she will go to to try to make this douchebag seem like he’s Prince Charming and these jealous nobodies are out to slander his good name. What does this man give you—besides STDs? He drags tourists around in a pedicab, and he’s not even cute. He’s not worth all of this espionage.

Maddi, Joe and Oisin did themselves no favors at the reunion. Andy looked downright disgusted by Oisin at one point, and shocked by Joe & Maddi's inability to acknowledge their own behavior and lies. 

Leva didn't come off much better, looking like she holds the women to the much higher standard than the guys.

Emme cried. JT came off like the true voice of reason and the glue that's holding this hodgepodge group together,.

I wonder why Mikel wasn't there.

JT shared the DM he'd received from Joe. Wow, someone's got a big head.

I agree this season was way better than the first one.  I can't believe how much Maddi made a fool of herself over Trevor.  Boy is the equivalent of bland oatmeal.  Not cute and boring personality to boot.  I'm sure she'll be embarrassed once she grows up a little bit and gains some perspective.  And sorry, Joe Bradley is NOT it.  He reminds me of a used car salesman with his slicked back hair and smarmy vibe.  Ick.

And he's bounced on Danielle already!  That girl has got to be a wreck after this.  Not going to lie though, I'm kind of hoping she dumped him.  He's heinous!

I feel like Grace Lily pulled the Vanderpump Rules “too big of a star to be a server” card a little too soon. Most of the drama is still occurring in the club! Whereas they were mactors (model/actors), I guess the new thing is being a minfluencer (model/influencer).

There’s something suspect about how everyone is thrilled to listen to a 21-year-old, excuse me, newly 22-year-old, boss. There was so much conflict last year over who got the promotion and who told whom what to do, but suddenly they’re all thrilled to death with this baby who is too beautiful to be a barback telling them if you can lean, you can clean? I mean, sure, he seems nice and everyone seems to have a crush on him but surely someone is resentful? Speaking of crushes, it seems that the interest is mutual between Michols and TJ, but I don’t blame TJ for being hesitant about someone a decade younger. Somehow Michols doesn’t realize this is a sexual harassment suit waiting to happen if he’s TJ’s boss. But I guess this is Bravo, so dating castmates/coworkers is encouraged.

Speaking of which… I guess Joe Bradley finally wore Maddi down! The “this season on” makes it seem like they elope, but not sure whether it’s just for TV or legal. Either way, Emmy must have lost her ever-loving mind!! Poor girl still can’t go through a conversation without wiggling her ring finger at her boyfriend (I can’t recall his name), and badgering him about getting engaged. He did not look impressed with her new muscular body, and sounds like he’s been bad-mouthing her all over Republic. Well, I think every season has had a “he cheated” storyline that Emmy chooses to ignore and focus on “the ring” (not even the marriage), so I’m sure the hysterics through the plantation mansion house party or whatever will end up being more of the same unless/until he actually tells her he’s not going to ever marry her. Didn’t literally the exact same thing happen last season?? That may have been Maddi crying through a mansion house party and running through rooms locking Miss Trinidad and Tobago out. Man, what I wouldn’t give for the dramatics of a 35-room house to wrought and rend through with an audience of 100 people sipping on champs and martinis.

Miss Tirindad & Tobago is Mia. She's an OG. The chick Maddi chased around the house at Will's going away party last year was a non-castmate, Bradley's friend/client. who'd that allegedly made out with Trevor, Maddi's then boyfriend. 

From the previews, this season's finale party looks to be held at the same downtown Charleston mansion that was used in early seasons of Southern Charm for Patricia's events.

If I were a customer in this bar, I’d be piping in with why is Emmy receiving monthly store credit to begin with? If it’s some type of quid pro quo to secure this apparently lucrative server uniform business, then couldn’t that be considered a bribe? I mean, I guess she’s not exactly Senator Menendez of that Republic. But, hmm. If Will weren’t drunk on High Noons and indifference toward his girlfriend, maybe he would have continued the cross-examination (Well, did you?) and have gotten to the bottom of it.

Agree with everything you said about Michols.  Leva raving about "how mature" he is when the dude doesn't understand the most basic 101 rule of management: don't fraternize with your employees.  He shouldn't be socializing and he most definitely shouldn't be hooking up with staff.  But to reiterate what you said, it's Bravo so it's encouraged for the show.

I love the deep, connecting, soul baring conversations on these shows.  TJ: "Like, and like, and like, and like, I can't express my feelings or something".  Michols: "Wow, I can't believe you just revealed the depths of your deep soul and inner most thoughts and feelings to me and now everything is fine and we are bonded like blood brothers".   

Joe Bradley is a buck-toothed, cross eyed nerd.  I can barely look at the guy.

Siobhan.  Oof.

Emmy's reaction was so disproportionate to the accusation that I think we have our answer here.

Were we being punked with the Grace Lily singing? Maddi said it doesn’t matter she can’t hit the notes because of the energy she brings.  More like autotune will be used to fix it.  And those lyrics make nursery rhymes seem sophisticated.  We’re poppin’ and hoppin’ oh my.  And Maddi’s admiration of James Kennedy hasn’t aged well.

I thought that Grace Lilly scene was so funny. It was giving me early Scheana in the studio. I wish she were on the show more. 

Emmy has seemed very manic to me in these last two episodes. I think she can tell her relationship with Will is dying and for some reason she desperately wants to save it. She can do much better than him, though. He's such a derp.

Do not care/not interested in new mean girls Molly & Siobhan. Lake, and her lake house, can stay. Where was Grace Lily???

Will's a shitty boyfriend. He needed to man up and tell Emmy about his venting outburst before she hears from everyone else. I feel like he's doing the weaselly thing of acting shitty in the hopes she'll force the break-up. That said, if any of these people were truly concerned about her & not just using this as a storyline, they'd tell her off camera. 

Why don't I remember TJ telling Joe he was in love with him?

I was also shocked by this revelation, so I don’t think it was on the show even though it was supposedly filmed “last summer.” I have no idea what months this show is filmed, so unsure whether this was filmed as part of last season and not shown or filmed at some point after season filming. But TJ being in love with Joe and the two of them having “accidentally cuddled” 3 years ago is breaking news for us viewers. With that and all of the “Joey Bibles” before “Joey Bottles” talk it definitely seemed like they were implying that perhaps Joe had questioned his sexuality and maybe his southern, religious upbringing had an impact there. I don’t think TJ would have expressed his feelings to his completely straight best friend, unless he thought there was a chance that Joe had feelings for him, too. But it seems that this expression of love is what caused the rift between them, and the hooking up with Luann thing is the excuse—or at least this was the impetus of why TJ put him on blast about it instead of covering for his friend.

Oh, Lake is rich-rich. I suppose flying off to study art in Paris should have been the tip-off. She’s like old-school Southern Charm rich. Girl’s gonna get herself some mailbox money. 

Will accidentally referred to Emmy as Emily. I’m betting he’s cheating with (or at least is developing feelings for) an Emily from law school.

So Maddi is comfortable being friends with someone who has announced he is in love with her boyfriend?  Would should be if a woman said the same thing?  

Also Will whining about the stress of law school.  If 22-year-olds can handle it he should he able to at 30.  And I bet most of the tail he is chasing there is 22 so no wonder Emmy is threatened.
