Her lies are plenty too.  I use to work with a woman that lied about everything, crazy stuff about her genius (her word, nobody else's), chronically out of work son (who broke in to cars on our lot at work), reasons for leaving work early or not coming in at all, to her accomplishments in life to religious stuff, you name it, she lied about it. We would let her talk as much as she wanted not because anyone believed her but we liked to see how far she would go.  Maybe this is what the HW's are doing with Mia, give her enough rope so to say.
