Trini November 6, 2022 Share November 6, 2022 Detective Flores digs deeper into the cause of Marco's death. Meanwhile, Thony, Arman and Garrett team up to bring down Kamdar. Airdate: November 7, 2022 1 Link to comment
Trini November 8, 2022 Author Share November 8, 2022 Yeah, Kamdar has got to go. Siiiighhh. So how long until Garrett finds out it was Arman who pulled the trigger, and then he messes with Arman's plans/life and then Arman messes with Garrett's operations? Rinse and repeat. Seriously, Thony/Garrett/Arman make the worst team, and Kamdar seems pretty competent and powerful, so I'm already tired of the back and forth which is going to continue until the end of the season. Well, at least Garrett was useful for getting Chris out of trouble -- for now. With Thony on tape, I don't see how she'll be able to get away from the police investigating her. Unless they pin Marco's death on someone else? Even after he supposedly proved himself, I'm still pretty sure Kamdar doesn't really trust (or like (but we already knew that)) Arman, so any peace between them is temporary. 1 Link to comment
Irlandesa November 8, 2022 Share November 8, 2022 Oh wow. Every time Arman kills someone, I feel like he feels like his soul is being drained. I do not feel good about where it's going for him. And there are only 3 episodes left this season? It was only renewed for ten episodes? I'm glad things are better for Marco--or at least they will be until the hotel clerk is found. 3 Link to comment
Raja November 8, 2022 Share November 8, 2022 For a minute I thought Agent Garrett was going after LVPD for violating civil rights. Fiona straight out said they couldn't come in and then they drag Chris to the station not under arrest. Was it kidnapping then? But with the detective called off by her boss or D.A. I think she's not done. A lot of poor safe houses this TV season. 1 Link to comment

There was an interview with the showrunner this past summer where she mentioned 12 episodes, so I think it's at least that many. Link to comment

Except Ep 7 aired tonight and during the previews for next week, the words on the screen were "only 2 more episodes before the season finale." Not midseason or fall finale, like 9-1-1 got but season. That'd be ten eps. 1 Link to comment

This was one of the few shows that had caught on for Fox; you'd think they order at least a few more episodes, especially with it airing in the fall. Link to comment

Did Kamdar use the empty gun trope??? Give Arman an unloaded gun to see if he pulls the trigger on Maya... or tries to shoot Kamdar. One of the minions actually killed Maya, but Arman tried... Interesting theory, but then why not show it, for the 2 extra minutes 9-1-1 gets so space is cut? Or will they flashback sometime in the next couple of episodes. Arman, as a gangster was relatively "clean". They didn't sell guns to street gangs, he pushed back against selling to American, not militia but survivalists preppers as the primary goal was to get weapons to Armenia. Now the duo is increasingly falling down., sort of like The Good Girls a couple of years ago. 1 Link to comment
pezgirl7 November 9, 2022 Share November 9, 2022 This show is getting dark. I was hoping Arman would shoot Kamdar instead, although he would have had to shoot the other thug first, and that would have been too risky since that guy was pointing his gun right at Thony. I can't believe Arman has now killed two people for Thony! Their blood is just as much on her hands as it is on his. So not only is she a drug smuggler but she's now an accomplice to murder. I wonder if the original show this is based off of also had the lead be so unlikable. I did like Thony's red dress. Arman seemed to like it too. 😏 Big improvement from the zebra outfit with the chunky costume jewelry earrings. 2 Link to comment

I don't think so based on as soon as Kamdar said "3," there was a muzzle flash and a bang, then Arman smuggling walked out of the room. That really only leaves enough time for Arman or Thorny to have picked up the gun and pulled the trigger. If it was Kamdar or his thug, I think there would have been a delay in between "3" and the gunshot to either chastise Arman for not pulling the trigger or to shoot Arman and Thorny first, then Maya after she had to watch what happens to rats first-hand. phoenics November 13, 2022 Share November 13, 2022 I can't believe this show in season 2 is actually even better than season 1, but wow it is. This episode was amazing and so so full of suspense. And Arman... poor Arman. He was literally crying at the end in the car. I hate that Kamdar has Maya's death to hang over his head now. Arman had a code - he never would kill an innocent person - his kills were related to thugs and thieves and bad guys in the guise of business. But shooting a defenseless woman? He'd never do it. It's why he couldn't let his crew kill Thony in s1. But he'd do anything to protect Thony so he shot her. I did have a thought that Thony grabbed the gun and shot Maya for him but I dunno. Arman crying changed that for me. Whew. What an episode. On 11/9/2022 at 1:52 PM, pezgirl7 said: This show is getting dark. For me the show is about Thony and Arman basically being the same person - neither all good or all bad. They are simply in very bad situations and sometimes having to make awful choices because of it. To each her own I guess. I love Thony. 1 2 Link to comment

I don't get the impression that Arman thinks that he is a good man, but Thony acts like she's always in the right, and expects Arman or Garrett to bail her out when she gets into a mess. I thought the way she reacted to her husband's death was pretty cold. I don't think she even shed a tear. Also, she doesn't smile or laugh much. She's just a bit of a drag. I think some of it is the acting, but a lot of it is the writing. I think the writers could do some small things to make her more likable. 1 Link to comment

He was going to kill Luca [unintentionally] by flying back to Manila without proper medical care... Then holding Luca hostage in the motel was also a fatal plan... so dumbass Marco is undeserving of sympathy... 3 Link to comment
