Watched This Is Us, and will watch the final season of A Million Little Things next year - but that’s the end of network shows for me. Refuse to invest any more time and energy in shows comprised of as much ad content as story content. Ridiculous. Nope.

So next season is the last?

We don't know, there has been no formal announcement.  However, the show is not returning in the fall, but instead as a midseason replacement.  That's not a sign that the network has a lot of faith and wants to invest in it.  Some are speculating that Gary's recent storyline is another indication that the show will be coming to an end; that his death will be the finale.

However, TPTB have denied that and denied knowing what the network's plans are for the show's future.

I think it was incredibly intrusive and overstepping for Rome to go to the guy's house to talk to him.  The parents clearly hadn't responded well to him at the school, confronting the dad at home was not appropriate.  Of course, because it is this show, it all worked out and Rome is the hero, but it was really rude of him, IMO to continue to pursue the conversation when the parents had made their feelings very clear that his help was not welcome.

In fairness, none of the characters on this show have any sense of boundaries.  They are all a co-dependent mess who have never heard the term: "This is none of your business," without driving a wrecking ball through it.
