I'm also kind of surprised that Pastor Rob is a Baptist. With his, cool, hip style, I'd have figured him for Unitarian or even Presbyterian! ;-)

Thanks for the infomration. I doubt this would happen in the series, because Sheldon would have to be in the room and taking apart the device to see how it worked and then trying to tinker with the random number generator software. I can't picture Mee-Maw and Georgie involving Sheldon.

I have no doubt that Sheldon has the technical skills to reprogram the machines. Sheldon is the absolute last person Mee-Maw and Georgie would want to involve in the illegal laundromat casino. I can't see Sheldon being willing or able to keep a secret like that.

Now I'm picturing Meemaw and Georgie spending a night in jail because Sheldon blabbed the wrong thing to the wrong person. Like, maybe Sheldon got caught checking out the machines after hours (was mistaken for a burglar) and spilled the beans on the operation in a very matter of fact way. 

 

I'm glad Dr. Sturgis got fired. Didn't he admit last week that it was getting tiresome? Now he can go back to being a scientist. Yeah. I know. IRL it's not that simple. But that's why we have Tee Vee.

It was actually the youth pastor's idea to do that.  Mary got involved after he mentioned how it was Missy with the most questions.

I don't think any of them are qualified to discuss sex with the kids.  I'm appalled any of them thought they were.  Maybe individually with their own children (although I doubt that would be more than their own opinions on 'when'), but none were qualified or, in my opionion, knowledgeable enough to teach a class.

I read that on an upcoming episode we will get to hear grownup Howard talking to grownup  Sheldon in the narration.  They will explain Sheldon's disdain of engineers.  I can't wait!  This is the kind of information I want to know!!

I don't think he does have those skills.  I remember when he thought he was smart enough to "fix" the refrigerator and only managed to take it completely apart and scattered all over the floor, but he had NO CLUE how to get it back together.  He also has no respect for the engineers who actually can build and repair things.  Sheldon is a genius with facts and theoretical math and physics, but has no "hands on" talent. ...Unless it has something to do with his trains...

Meemaw was totally unreasonable. 5% commission would be fair for getting her business back running even if Georgie wasn't helping out.
