paulvdb April 28, 2021 Share April 28, 2021 Quote Genevieve gets a present from a boy while Matilda and Drea do some online shopping of their own. Nicholas and Drea have a heartfelt one-on-one. Airdate: April 29, 2021 Link to comment
KaveDweller April 30, 2021 Share April 30, 2021 This show is just so delightful in being awkward. It is really enjoyable to watch. I can't believe how willing that guy was to just roll with everything. I guess he really wanted to have sex that night. 4 Link to comment

Evie April 30, 2021 Share April 30, 2021 (edited) "I love you, Duck Duck" "Forever, Muck Muck" "I feel yuck yuck" Yep. That was awkward. I'm surprised the hookup didn't hightail it out of there. I really liked Drea and Nicholas' conversation. He was actually listening and serious for a change. Genevieve and her little friend as my mother would say were cute. tennisgurl April 30, 2021 Share April 30, 2021 Ian the one night stand was just down for whatever, I love how he was just going with the flow. Even with that spider making some intense eye contact. "I'm too disorganized to be a serial killer." The talk between Drea and Nicholas was really nice, he is actually figuring out those listening skills. 3 Link to comment
HappyBerry April 30, 2021 Share April 30, 2021 I love how this show just really leans into the awkward. I really loved Genevive and Oscar and capturing that early relationship energy, especially when you are young. I do love the conversation between Nicholas and Drea. I think it was really good way to help grow them as characters, but also a good primer for people that don't really understand asexuality. And, it was a nice little reminder that as self-centered as Nicholas can be he also gave up his life and career/research to come help raise his half-sisters I am especially interested in the way they treat relationships on this show. I'm still not sure if Alex is happy with Nicholas or not....he doesn't seem to be, but also doesn't want to break up with him and I hope we learn more about why. And poor Drea, doing what makes her uncomfortable and sad so that Matilda will be happy and love her. They do such a good job of showing complications and people being selfish and hurting others without making anyone the bad guy. Josh Thomas is just so damn good at what he does! 7 Link to comment

It is so delightful - and it's the right kind of awkward comedy - it's not cringe comedy that is full of secondhand embarrassment. 10 hours ago, tennisgurl said: Ian the one night stand was just down for whatever, I love how he was just going with the flow. I'm guessing since Ian installs solar panels in a rich area, he has seen some weird stuff. I would not be surprised if this was near the top of his list, though. 2 2 Link to comment
possibilities May 1, 2021 Share May 1, 2021 Ian was the most unexpected thing in the entire episode. That they managed to invite someone over who they knew nothing about... I was totally with Nicholas about how bad of an idea that was... and it turned out the guy they picked was okay, or at least not dangerous. One thing I didn't understand is why, when Alex was with his dad, the third person there was not also signing. Link to comment

Was it one of Alex's friends that we met last season or does Alex have a sibling? 2 Link to comment

bros402 May 2, 2021 Share May 2, 2021 I think it was one of the friends from last season, when Nicholas met Alex's friends? The character isn't listed on IMDB, though. I also have to state again that I love the episode descriptions for this show. They don't spoil, but give you an idea of what will happen in the episode, and then you can laugh when reading it after watching the episode. 1 Link to comment

Alex really wanted her approval of Nicholas (a whole mess happened when her dead brother came up). That's also the episode where Nicholas does drag. Link to comment
