I wouldn’t be surprised if they found her a rich husband to give her some stay at home mom time. I couldn't help but laugh when her dad told her to her face (in Southern speak) that she looked busted. 2 hours ago, Neiman said: I don’t think they know what to do with Kat. In some episodes she’s like a naive rookie busting in on interviews and not knowing procedures while in others she’s like a superhero and ready for an undercover threesome without blinking an eye. Those inconsistencies make me not like that character and it bothers me that they’ve put Fin on the back burner for a character they don’t know what they’re going to do with. I don't believe that's really a character inconsistency. She's shown on multiple occasions that she's ready and able to dive into UC work even when it involves putting herself in sexual situations but that she's still very green in a lot of ways, especially keeping a healthy, objective distance from victims. 2 Link to comment
Iguessnot March 1, 2020 Share March 1, 2020 Amanda's passivity got me the most in this episode. She should have hit the roof when she confronted Kim. Never have I missed the persona of Stabler so much. That's the kind of fury Kim should have been greeted with, yet all we got was Kim playing every trick in her playbook with no push back. I couldn't believe that Olivia decided she could UC as a doctor. God, that stupid question about dosing. 3 Link to comment
tennisgurl March 3, 2020 Share March 3, 2020 I admit, I was putting this one off. I cant even deal with Rollins family drama, its so boring and lame, I dont even like Rollins, let alone her family, who are such stereotypical white trash drug addicts that they might as well name her dad Cletus and get it over with. Kim is still the worst I see. Wow, what a great mom, leaving her child with some random person while she gets high in the bathroom! But she turned the water on in case she ODed to get someone attention, so its all good? Why should I want her to get custody of her son? I just do not care! Rollins is such a pushover, not even a comment about Kim cleaning her stuff out and running after she blew up Rollins life last time she was crashing? Really? She just comes off as a massive enabler and an easy mark for manipulation. The rest of the episode had some potential, getting into the issues of the pharmaceutical industry and the opium crisis, something that hasn't been dealt with much on the show, but for one thing, a lot of it, especially the opening doctor, reminded me a LOT of the green card creep we just had, and for another, this interesting story got totally sidetracked by not only boring Rollins family drama, but ALSO boring Hadid personal drama. I do not get Hadid, nor do I get her personality, and the actress...isn't awesome, so that makes her even more of a cipher. So we really hardly got any actual case at all. Finn is the voice of reason, as per usual, so of course Olivia tells her to shut up and he is only a supporting character in others characters pointless drama. Also...vaping? 4 Link to comment

It’s a shame that they didn’t delve more deeply into the storyline. They totally rushed the undercover operation; wouldn’t it have set up a red flag that a brand new drug rep, on orientation no less, was so willing to participate in a threesome right away? Also, you would have thought the sleazebag doctor would have been a little more cautious about someone coming in and so willing to agree to sex immediately for drugs. They totally could have built up this storyline for the whole hour but instead it was just filler for Rollins family drama. Horrible. It seems the Dick Wolf shows all had a “drugs are bad “ theme last week. I don’t watch Chicago Med but both Fire and PD did a crossover event featuring fake oxy laced with fentanyl. So, there was the whole afterschool special starting from the drug companies pushing their drugs to the docs prescribing them recklessly to teens getting their drugs from a nefarious gang member. Then they threw in a bit about vaping for good measure. Ok... I’m now thoroughly educated. 4 Link to comment
balmz March 3, 2020 Share March 3, 2020 very meh episode, didn't hate it but nothing was interesting about it you know if kat had to for whatever reason shoot and kill kim or the dad, that would have been the highlight of the episode or if they had died for whatever reason then the episode would have brought me and probably other viewers eternal relief from pain since we would never have to see kim or the dad again 2 3 Link to comment

We rarely see his son Ken and his little grandson; it’s been so long since we have had heard about the grandson that I can’t remember his name. Agreed. Would love to see more of Fin's family. 3 Link to comment
wanderingstar March 5, 2020 Share March 5, 2020 (edited) This was an utterly strange episode, full of half-baked stories. The doctor plot went nowhere I thought we were going to spend more time with NotPurdue Pharma guy, but he was barely there. And linking him to Hadid was cheap and didn't actually add anything to the episode. I don't care about Rollins' family, but I liked seeing the little bit of Fin we got. Joe Hellandback March 27, 2020 Share March 27, 2020 Rollins family drama? Remember when this show used to be about sex crimes? 1. Why is it that the SVU are always right and everyone else is a screwup who constantly need their help? Even Cassidy increasingly reminded of his character from 30 Rock. 2. Nice to see Fin back although I think he's a little harsh with his 'Once a junkie...' speech, how about his son gets hooked on drugs? Or he gets Popeye Doyled? 3. Possibly because he's in the news but anyone else think Rollins dad reminds them off Kenny Rogers? 4. So neither Rollins' dad or sis remind her that she was a gambling addict? 5. Yeah, the rich white guy does have to be the villain, doesn't he? 6. Are they trying to rehabilitate Hadid? 7. So Kat gets all kissy with the ex-porn star? Surely that's breaking no end of rules? 8. Benson as a doctor? Really? Loved to have seen them ask her some medical questions? 6/10 Link to comment
