  1. Doesn't Chilton wear dentures since getting shot in the face? I guess nobody saw the point in trying to take them out after he got burned. Or maybe they can't be taken out now. *shudder*
  2. I have no idea why this posted twice. I only clicked the thingie once.
  3. I wonder how Hannibal is maintaining his personal grooming so well now that he doesn't even have a sink. Does he put his face up to the holes and somebody administers a hot foam shave? I was noticing how clean-shaven and dewy fresh he looked. Nary a hint of five-o-clock shadow.
  4. The fake-out with the principal almost made me stop watching the episode. That was just dumb, low-hanging fruit. In fact, the fruit was already dead and on the ground. The fruit was zombie fruit. I like that the family finds out Nick is in the hospital and takes time to let the daughter dry and style her hair to perfection before going over to see him. I'm already placing bets on her hair being gorgeous for however long the series lasts.
  5. So... Quinlan is half vamp, half human, and the Master is sorta kinda his father? Or at least stung his mother while she was pregnant, since the vamps don't have their jiggly bits anymore. I wish this show would just 100% focus on Quinlan hunting for the Master. I've had it with all the human story lines. I especially don't need to see Coco and Eldritch's budding...whatever the hell that is. I hope she's playing him. Amazing how Fet managed to plant the explosives in exactly the right place to cause a small amount of rubble to fall on the precise spot on which the Master happened to be standing at that very moment.
  6. Poor Nick. It's only day 1 of the zombie apocalypse and his hair already looks like hell. His mom and Travis (mostly the mom) had such underwhelmed reactions to Calvin. It's like she was looking at a guy with a sprained ankle instead of a guy with half a face, assorted bones sticking out of his flesh, and still moving after being run over twice.
  7. I think the glue melted from the fire. You can kind of see the melted gooey strings as Chilton is ejected from the chair. I, too, am tired of Francis's contorted yoga posing. Look, Richard Armitage looks very fit in his tiny underpants, but I'm rolling my eyes at this point. Also, Francis clawing at himself felt out of place for this episode. It just seems a little late in the game to still be trying to fight his inner Dragon.
  8. No the finale is next week. But NBC still sucks.
  9. Bedelia seems so icy and even robotic on the surface, but I think she's actually a cauldron of bubbling emotion that she has to work very hard at keeping under a simmer. In her first scene with Will, there are tears brimming in her eyes. She loves Hannibal. Hannibal loves Will. I wondered if Reba was aware that Francis wasn't alone in the house when she came to visit. I mean, Frederick probably peed himself at the least, and he was sweating pretty hard. Plus that glue probably stank. I don't know. How was Frederick even conscious in the hospital? Or alive? They probably would have had him in a medically induced coma, wouldn't they? But then we couldn't have him confronting Will about Will's true intentions. Jack saying "he's trashed" was a tiny bit of an understatement. I don't think Francis packed nearly enough ice for that.
  10. What was Francis using for Frederick's gag? At first I thought it was one of those old-fashioned sanitary pads, the kind that used to be belted to the underwear or a strap around the waist, but I don't know. Does he just have a random collection of feminine hygiene products? Did he pick them up at the store when he was buying cocktail mixers?
  11. From episode 12: Frederick: "Do you think I am your nemesis?" Hannibal: "Bwahahahaha! Ahem. Nemesis? No." (Only a slight exaggeration.)
  12. I have to think sex with a cannibal -- especially one who has in the past shown an appetite for eating at least one of your body parts raw -- would raise all sorts of trust issues.
  13. Those retail angels were creepy as hell. Good lord, being stuck in the same job for 25 years. Beep...beep... Why does anyone keep David alive at this point? If they need further information from him, at least stick him in solitary confinement with no access to anyone but Zoe.
  14. Will can't really be surprised that Hannibal is in love with him. He had that whole fantasy/dream about killing Hannibal with the stag, where Hannibal was all "beloved this," and "beloved that." So somewhere inside he understood that Hannibal felt this way. Or maybe he thought he was projecting that onto Hannibal, since it was his own dream. Either way: Good Lord. Hannibal slurping up the lip reminded me of the time my Cairn terrier slurped up a raw chicken tender that fell onto the floor. She looked about as pleased with herself, too.
  15. Video from College Humor. If Hannibal were a bad chef:
  16. Yeah I think there was some of the Master's special Miracle-Gro in that dirt.
  17. I was trying to describe the Master and Bolivar scene to a friend who doesn't watch the show and the phrase "worm bukkake" may have been used. Then I had to go take a good, stiff drink and pray I don't end up in hell for that.
  18. Agreed. She pulled those puppies out like they were Buffalo wings at Hooters. There were a couple of times in the episode I had to once again boggle at how boyish Tom Wisdom sometimes looks. Like, I don't know what kind of makeup or skin care routine they're using on him, but he always looks dewy fresh. He looked ages younger than Chris Eagan in the hideout scene.
  19. OK, so, confession time. I didn't know until today that "dignity pants" are diapers. So when Hannibal said the thing about Alana putting Will in "moral dignity pants," my brain translated this as... "moral big-boy pants." And I just... the mental image? I don't even know.
  20. Damn, Noma ripping the wings out of her own back. I don't really get it, though. How are the spikes more firmly in the wall than her wings are in her body? At most, shouldn't she have just ripped some holes in her wings? That seems like a huge design flaw. Too bad they didn't at least save a couple feathers to heal her with.
  21. I don't understand why Hannibal's office is even still a thing. Does he own it in perpetuity?
  22. I hope he's the one who survives the whole series, and at the end we see him driving by eating the last of his frozen shrimp. I don't think any direct sunlight touched him. If he had to ride in the back of a shrimp van, he's probably at least a little affected by sun. Or just really loves shrimp.
  23. From the episode description: "Gus realizes Angel can be an unlikely ally" What? How? He fake-fought fake-vampires 40+ years ago. He can barely walk now! I thought it was super rude of Gus and the daughter to go down into what appears to be Angel's apartment under the restaurant. Damn, just because it's the apocalypse doesn't mean you can forget your manners.
  24. Why kill off Fitz? He just showed up! Meanwhile, Zach continues to survive. At least he was slightly less irritating in this episode, I guess. What was Nora doing out with Zach that close to nightfall anyway? These people are terrible at time management. On the other hand, I suppose it's easy to forget on occasion that the city is in mayhem, what with all the Indian restaurants and buses and bars still up and running. Poor Eichorst. He waited all that time for the Master to barf special worms on him, and the honor went to a two-bit pop star instead. Edited to add: I don't think Nora and Eph are really together together. They had that hookup but they haven't been acting like they're in a relationship.
