  1. She didn't steal the money and if she didn't know why she be punished for Tom's actions? People are constantly attacking her with no proof. Is she supposed to just take it? For every action there is a reaction. Just because there is an Erika hate train, she's supposed to modify her behavior and who she is for people who aren't being fair to her in the first place? I'd give my ass to kiss to everyone too who was accusing me of something with no proof. It's scary to me how easily people condemn, convict and assassinate someone's character without indisputable proof.
  2. Who TF is Sutton to be questioning Erika? Sutton is not a trial lawyer and Erika isn't on the stand. Erika is a co-worker/"friend" and Tom's embezzlement has absolutely nothing to do with Sutton "Fragility" Stracke. If you insinuated one of your co-workers/friends was lying and/or complicit if their husband was charged with fraud at an unrelated job, you'd probably get cursed out too. Sutton is a flip flopper because she was saying one thing to Kyle one on one before Kathy's dinner but then at the dinner said she was going to support Erika. Sutton is getting a pass for being two-faced because a lot of people are on the Erika hate train, but that is shitty, duplicitous behavior. Erika hasn't done anything to these women. I understand asking questions or being suspicious but it's crazy for anybody to think that someone should be able to accuse her to her face of being a liar and she's just supposed to take it. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks or believes because the truth is that they don't know what she knew. I think Sutton saw the fan reaction as things were coming out and decided to make her mark (work hard for a diamond) by going after Erika . I can't stand her.
  3. It doesn't matter what anyone thinks when it comes to Erika being complicit or not. There is absolutely no proof and she is not charged with anything. If someone is prepared to call her a liar to her face, then be prepared for her to clap back. Was Erika supposed to let Sutton attack her character and just sit there?
  4. I hate people. People are so hypocritical and contradictory. Housewives talking shit is like a fish swimming, but it's only Candiace who deserves assault?
  5. She can tell a billion lies -- that still doesn't mean she knew that Tom was embezzling. I've lied to my friends about why I'm late to events. That doesn't mean I would be complicit if my significant other were misappropriating money.
  6. Let's stop pretending like Kathy Hilton doesn't know what RHOBH is all about and doesn't know that there will be drama at dinner parties. This Rose Nylund act really has people fooled?
  7. I'm not sure what story you're referring to but when it comes to condemning Erika, the only thing that matters is whether she was complicit or not. None of those women have any proof Erika was complicit. When Erika asked Sutton what she was lying about, Sutton had zero answers. If she's going to call someone a liar she should be able to back it up. Speculations, feelings and assumptions aren't evidence or facts. Sutton can be suspicious all day but to publicly call Erika a liar is wrong to me unless there is indisputable evidence.
  8. It is super scary to me that anyone's character can be so easily assassinated with no concrete proof. Erika did not work at Tom's firm and there is no proof that she was complicit. Until there is indisputable proof that she knowingly benefited from embezzled funds I will withhold bashing or condemning her. Being innocent until proven guilty is not only a legal concept to me, but also a matter of human decency. Sutton was working hard for a diamond this season. Due to her not being able to film her minor children, I think she knew she had to bring it. As things were happening, the women all could see social media and could gauge the public reaction. Sutton knew she would get lost in the fray if she was on Erika's side, so she saw an opportunity and took it. Tom's embezzlement has absolutely nothing to do with Sutton except that she's Tom's wife's co-worker. Crystal's analogy was spot on -- even something as serious as rape doesn't affect a co-worker. Sutton wanted her moment and got it. Sutton is also a flip flopper and I'm glad Kyle called her out. Don't say at Kathy's dinner that you're there to support Erika but behind her back call her a liar and say things aren't adding up. I don't blame Erika from recoiling from Garcelle. Erika was being ambushed. I think her only true friends on the show are Kyle and Lisa. If I had a friend/co-worker in Erika's situation, I would continue to be a friend until there was indisputable evidence that the friend did something wrong. I would then assess whether or not their character was in alignment with mine.
  9. Social media is eating Gizelle and Robyn up and are overwhelmingly team Wendy; so am I. Robyn and Gizelle are quintessential mean girls. Robyn sickened me jumping in to speak for Gizelle even when it wasn't a necessarily contentious conversation. Gizelle got her comeuppance with Wendy's reads. Gizelle's affect or default is to act unbothered when she's getting read down. I suppose that fools people into thinking she truly is unbothered, but she's the epitome of "she's gonna cry in the car". Gizelle doesn't let people see her sweat which is actually a good strategy. Saying "don't get your ass whooped' is not the same as grabbing someone's hair, pulling their head down to a table and repeatedly landing punches. I'm not getting the Wendy and Monique comparisons. They were gaslighting Wendy at dinner. She was not combative at all, but they were attacking her which made her defensive then criticized her for being defensive. I don't know what they want from her. She paid for some procedures and wants to show off. I'm sick of Mia flip flopping. She goes with the wind and can't own her stripper past. I'm enjoying a more mature Candiace this season.
  10. When did Karen say that? Karen has called Gizelle a liar about her relationship and on the last episode called Gizelle's whole life a lie. We've also seen Gizelle lie on camera at least twice; first when she told Wendy that Karen called her a floozy freelancer and second when they were in France and she lied to the group and Robyn because she wanted to be with Robyn alone.
  11. Tom was living lavishly before he got with Erica and she became a kept woman. He was a prestigious, famous lawyer with a lot of clout in Los angeles. It's not like their lifestyle drastically changed. They didn't go from a 2 bedroom apt. to a mansion for instance, so why would she assume it's anything other than money he made from the firm?
  12. Sonja doesn't seem to have a malicious bone in her body and she's compassionate and understanding. With that being said, I think Ramona is unredeemable and now I see why there were rumors of her being fired. I never took Ramona for being racially sensitive and understood we most likely have opposing political views but I found her entertaining before the Black Shabbat dinner. I found her behavior there reprehensible and she really just doesn't GAF about the Black experience in particular and I no longer GAF about her. I don't care whether she goes or stays.
  13. So the answer to my question is that once at the gathering, it wasn't Eboni who brought up the topic that preceded Ramona's meltdown. Ramona is the only one who is responsible for her behavior and what comes out of her mouth. I have found Ramona entertaining throughout the years, but after last night, I don't care whether she stays or goes.
  14. Am I mistaken? I already replied to another poster, but did Eboni bring up race or was it the host? Also, the host said she was concerned about Jewish and Black relations. How was that preaching to Ramona?
  15. What's interesting to me is that it seems like people can have compassion for the plight of Jewish people and/or other groups, but when it comes to Black people there is all of a sudden a problem. What lecturing did Eboni do? The host started talking about Black and Jewish relations then Ramona started going off the rails.
  16. It's interesting seeing all the criticism of Wendy's wardrobe. It's as if there a notion a person has to dress the same way they started out dressing on the show. Wendy started filming her first season shortly after she had a baby so she was going through physical changes at the time and probably was more covered up than usual anyway. I could very easily see Dorit in some of the things Wendy has been wearing and I don't think she'd be criticized for it.
  17. I think a lot of you are going to be disappointed if you think Garcelle is going to try to stick it to Erika. She's in previews saying something to the effect of not kicking her while she's down and also on WWHL she was supportive.
  18. It seems like such a simple thing to grasp. I agree 100%. Garcelle was looking for a moment. Reality tv or not, the other women weren't there in the moment so let Erika tell them what she wants and how she wants.
  19. Yes, she's on tv, but there is a difference between the women hearing/seeing months later that they may not even mention to Erika vs. someone bringing it up while filming which could cause conflict, drama, unpleasant emotions, etc.
  20. I know a lot of people feel like Erika is guilty of something, but can you tell me why you are so convinced?
  21. I'm just trying to figure out how Crystal is being deemed a "mean girl" for correctly saying her privacy is violated and choosing not to engage in Sutton's craziness. Even the other cast members have said Sutton was acting irrational or erratic. Crystal is not doing anything to Sutton, so how is she "mean"? Are people seeing themselves in Sutton or something? Crystal is calm, cool and collected. Sutton is always frazzled which is not anybody else's problem.
  22. I want to know why so many people are convinced Erika knew Tom was a scammer. He was making millions without having to scam. Marrying Tom was a come up -- why would she know that some of his money wasn't legit? I don't think most people know every move their significant others make at work. Do we really think Tom was calling Erika to boast every time he mishandled funds?
  23. It's a possibility, but everybody doesn't buy into the "hot blonde" trope. Could your post be projection?
  24. I read an article that said it was 20 mil over several years, not a lump sum.
