I don't play video games, but I'm oddly excited at seeing trailers for Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite. Ryu, Iron Man, Captain America and Morrigan are back! So's Mega Man! And Captain Marvel makes her debut! Remember, MvC3 featured the pre-film appearances of Rocket Raccoon, Doctor Strange and Deadpool. Remember his hyper combo? He grabs the power bar and beats up his opponent with it. That was awesome.

Quick note: JJBA marathon will be aired on Christmas Eve, DBZK has one on New Year's Eve. Who's worse: Dio or Cell? Discuss!

Press release for "The End Of Serialization As We Know It." This might mean Matt & Trey are abandoning season-long storylines. Or maybe they'll elect to call it a series after twenty seasons. Given how much shit 2016 has given us, could you blame them? I imagine them popping up at the end of the episode, doing the clapping/gesturing Token did during the LOTR homage. ETA: The synopsis has Kyle rallying the kids, which might mean the return of Stan and Kenny. And I just made this poster for the Motivation thread.

Anybody else watching Jojo's Bizarre Adventure on Toonami? I can just imaging the president-elect taking off the mask. "You thought you were dealing with an orange-tinted madman . . . BUT IT WAS I, DIO!!!!" Seriously, Dio Brando was bad news before getting demonic powers in the third episode. ETA: The closing credits are set to "Roundabout" by Yes. I can't make out most of the lyrics, but it's oddly soothing.

Two more. First, Pokemon XYZ is still running on Cartoon Network, but Disney XD is showing a sneak preview of the next incarnation tomorrow, along with a movie. And as South Park careens to the season finale on Wednesday, let's take a moment to remember those that have seemingly vanished into the cornfield. That said, if Mysterion arrives to save the show, I won't be too surprised.

This week: the Baron is half the man he used to be. And now he's dead, but not before transforming his powers harmon to Jojo. The big guy and Speedwagon (still useless; like Usopp without the slingshot and schnozz) goes to Poco's village, only to find out that Dio's been transforming everybody. This includes giving one asshole a Gene Simmons-length tongue. Fortunately, Tonpetty and two of his disciples are on the scene to even the odds. Meanwhile, Dio transforms a mother on the condition that he and his minions don't touch her baby. . . and she ends up devouring him. Fun stuff!

I seriously doubt it. MTV Classic seems content on showing the first four seasons, as well as anything they consider "vintage," even if we don't agree.

From CBR: Adult Swim: 15 Shows You Forgot Existed. I remember ("member"?) most of them. I disagree with Minoriteam being "dull." Where else can you see Abraham Lincoln sounding like Jimmy Stewart, smoking a bong that was influenced by Jack Kirby? Or Racist Frankenstein? "Racist Frankenstein love outer space! What is it about powering up and bad-touching on Toonami these days? The Rolling Pirates shove shadows into Luffy, Zeppeli finger-blasts Jojo and Speedwagon, and Master Wing opens up Killua and Gon's nodes. Seems very naughty.
