I agree re: binge-watch, but I don't know if I totally buy it that this was the plan all along specifically -- meaning, I'm not sure I buy the constipated robot + totally aloof and detached O/F were planned from day one for this season, OR if the dailies from the middle episodes started showing the EPs a leading actor looking kinda haggard and robotic, and having no chemistry whatsoever with anyone in the new cast [except for Josh Segarra, bless him] and this is the fix. That said, I'm super a-okay that the fix is sexytimes and going back to O/F FINALLY, because that is the single thing that can help this show at this point, imo. It's the single only thing that can save Oliver.

I have no doubt whatsoever they always planned on getting back into the O/F game, but this looks to me like them trying to fix the what the fuckery they set up with O/F being so detached all season. I wish they had told the story in the proper chronological order. Have had O/F had mistake sex in 501, and then have Oliver be constipated all he wanted. This looks like an oops, we have to fix that shit to me.

I think I'd like it better if this were a flashback to rando sexytimes during 4A, rather than exes having sex because too much vodka was consumed, and then Felicity running off to Mayo. Alas.

The size of the heads look out of proportion to me in all of these, yikes.

I have a question: does the new info that Oliver isn't dating Susan anymore at this point is part of the call sheet descriptors? If so then the sex is definitely in present time, because that disclaimer would be useless for a flashback.

Also, the new set that looks like an elevator shaft could be either the way in or the way out of the bunker. And a call back to previous elevator shaft times, obvi.

So the title of the episode is Underneath, right? Rando spec: bottle episode, Oliver and Felicity trapped in the bunker for whatever reason, flashbacks maybe to previous moments that also happened in the bunker.

LOL I stand corrected, Reddit guy IS talking to folks in production [I would guess whoever in post that gives him script and dialog lists for his job] who can tell him stuff. At this point I'd guess his info is more trustworthy than the Van paps working off call sheets.

Reddit guy seems to have access to Dialog Lists only [I would guess he works either in closed captioning or translating subtitles], so he would not be getting info on an episode that's still filming.

I mean, the way the paps put it, she had threatened to quit the show if they didn't move. The Ken dude said she "threw a bitch fit". She was shooting on location in Chicago [Fire] and Hawaii [5.0.] right before this, and those shows replaced/got rid of her easy peasy, so maybe she is a pain to work with? I don't discount that, but now my paranoid mind immediately went to what if bad shit happened TO her on set in Van, like crew harassing her or something, and moving to LA would hush it. And that the paps are blaming the victim, because those guys are vermin.

But how would Felicity know? It would have to be Barry asking. But also, erasing the demon spawn means Oliver and Felicity never broke up, so it's likely not an option. Baby Sara/JJ changed nothing. That stupid kid unravels all sorts of threads, like the pest he is.

Wendy said Felicity would "carry" something, and the only thing was the knowledge of Baby Sara turning into Baby JJ. Steve said there would be a little Flashpoint in the middle of the season, and then a little at the end of the season. There wasn't anything in the middle of the season, so either they ditched it altogether, or there is still something coming at the end of the season. But I would assume it would be something as irrelevant to the storyline as changing the gender of a toddler.

He totally did, but he had the star power to do so back then. The Lauren German thing sounds weird because I would not guess she had that kind of power.

Wild guess on the reason: women tend to find it mega creepy when he's hounding and accosting them for autographs.
