  1. I'd quite like Felicity to have a normal childhood too. I think it's important as she's really the only 'normal' character in the show, who doesn't have ties to Oliver pre-Island. I really would love a scene like in Sherlock, where we found out that Sherlocks parents were mostly average. That said, I wouldn't mind a troubled childhood as long as it didn't affect too much of the storyline. We know Felicity's dad left her at an early age, and I wouldn't mind him or her mother being introduced, it could be really good for Felicity in terms of character development, but I don't want any connection with Oliver and I don't want them to villains, even if they're not 'big bads'
  2. I'd love to see more Felicity/Digg interaction. I really like their friendship and I think that they understand each other in a way other characters can't. They're quite aware of each other, and there is absolutely no way that I can believe that they didn't get close during those five months. It's one o my favourite aspects of the show, and I really hope we do get to see more of it next season. As for Roy/Felicity, I do hope that there is some fallout for Felicity. I agree with you guys that I don't want it dragged out, but I think it will interesting characterwise for pretty much the one big lie Felicity told to bite her back. Felicity is not a liar, and she doesn't manipulate people, and if she had lied to Roy about this at any other time, i.e. not just before they were about to battle, then it would certainly have counted as manipulation. @ArrowLimbo The more I think about it, the more a five month jump wouldn't work. There are way too many conversations to have, Oliver/Laurel, The Team/Roy, all that about Quentin.
  3. I know John Barrowman obviously from Doctor Who. I didn't know he was in Arrow until I watched the show, and I got really excited when he turned up, seemingly out of the blue. Colin Salmon has been in a bunch of stuff. I really liked him in Some Girls, but he was also in Doctor Who (like a few of the actors actually). For some reason, I can't watch a scene with him in Arrow without thinking 'And then you forgot.'
  4. Amanda Waller is absolutely awful. She drags down any scene she's in and her character makes no sense whatsoever. I did like Suicide Squad though, mostly because I think Deadshot is a really interesting character, and I like Diggles interactions with him.
  5. You're absolutely right , Felicity would not wait around for Oliver. Before Barry Allen came on, Felicity's feelings for Oliver were very present, but she was still very open to a relationship. There is no reason for her not to be open to one now. If there was a love triangle, it could be between Felicity, Oliver and another guy that she's in a bordering on serious relationship with. But even that wouldn't work, because Oliver is not the type of guy to outwardly show his jealousy and would probably spend a lot of time brooding and talking about how happy for Felicity he is. I don't see Oliver competing, and I think that there needs to be an element of competition for a love triangle to work. We've already seen that a love triangle with Laurel at the centre didn't work, one with Oliver at the centre wont work and would turn a lot of people off the show, and one with Felicity at the centre just wouldn't work at all. There is literally no way that a love triangle can work on the show, so I really hope that they don't try it.
  6. @Sakura12 Everyone has a Tatiana Maslany obsession, she's the epitome of perfection :D @Zalyn You're completely right about Laurel being defined by other characters. They really messed up her entire story line from the first episode. I genuinely think that if she hadn't known Oliver pre-island, she'd have been able to stand on her own two feet more and would have been received by fans far better. When she came on, her only role seemed to be that of a love interest which, when coupled with the lack of chemistry between SA and KC, very quickly wore thin.
  7. @Sakura12 Sorry to but in but your reference reminded me that over on tumblr someone said 'Arrow needs Laurel like Tatiana Maslany needs acting lessons.' and it amused me.
  8. @fantique I totally agree with you on the whole love triangle thing. Arrow isn't like other shows, it doesn't need a heavy romance plot, and a love triangle will only lead to more angst which the show does not need. Also, I really don't think it would make sense unless they retcon Felicity and Oliver's relationship completely, and even Laurel to a certain extent. I don't see Oliver getting into any kind of relationship with Felicity unless he was completely sure about it, and I don't see Felicity be jealous or intimidated by Laurel because we've never seen that before. Out of the show, the fans may see competition between the two, but in show I really don't see it.
