  1. I'm more horrified by Kailah's eyebrows. I couldn't stop staring at them. I think they're horrendous.
  2. Jenna's casual racism was really disturbing. I assume Ceejay was just allowing her to dig her own hole? Hate to see what happens that causes her to flip out. Also, I'm disturbed that Dean would still find Jenna attractive after all the crap that came out of her mouth. I'm too old to be watching this shit.
  3. I think Lauren knew she had it in the bag too. She didn't even have to "work for it," so to speak. Ben was smitten and that was it, show was over, unless she did something totally insane. The show controlled her narrative so much that I feel like I know nothing of her actual personality at all. Other than the fact that I hate her speech patterns and it makes her sound stupid, I can't tell if she is actually someone truly likeable or not. I get the impression she is not all flowers and sunshine, and there is a bit of high maintenance that lies beneath the surface we only see. That's just a guess though. As for JoJo, I never found her beautiful personally, but she is cute and has a young face (except when slathered in makeup). Sadly for her, many men tend to chose what they think is their fantasy woman, as opposed to what could be more substantial. I get the impression that she had a much deeper and real connection with Ben. Personally, I never warmed to her after she faked like she was Jubliee's friend and then talked about her behind her back. I hate people like that, so she lost me right there. Also, I thought Jojo's dress choice was very Texas pagenty and it made me laugh. Nothing again Texas though, just though it was amusing. Lauren's dress was on the other end of the spectrum and too plain for the proposal event.
  4. Thank you for this! I didn't see it on there, but you inspired me to google. I found this site, which specifically has rhw fashion accessories, etc. http://www.bigblondehair.com/real-housewives/rhobh/
  5. Middle parts are so terrible! A side part looks better 98.8% of the time. The stupid Kardashians probably think they started the trend, but more and women are wearing their hair that way. It's very severe looking.
  6. Wait...what? Is that a joke? He prays too loudly?! Wth...who prays loudly?! Prayer is meant to be silent (unless he's singing Buddhist mantras at the top of him lungs or getting the spirit or something like that lol!)
  7. What's this weird notion of people "behaving" when their husband's are around? Nope. Go ahead and be your crazy self so my husband can see wtf I've told him about. We'll likely laugh about it later. You do you. Authenticity is always best. On an unrelated note: Erika always has the most amazing sunglasses. Wish I knew what brands she wears.
  8. I like that Kim is wearing her hair out again, at least. She hasn't done that in a long while. It still has a severe middle part, but looks much nicer than the severe pulled back helmet hair or braids.
  9. Leuh (argh) is dumber than box of rocks. I wish Nev and Max came down harder on this dude. What about Jamie? Oh, and suddenly he has a video cam to chat with her? Riiiight.
  10. People are such liars about this. The Brazilian Butt Lift procedure is one of the most popular procedures in plastic surgery. Technically, no, they don't have implants but they had a procedure whereby they had a shit ton of fat injected into each cheek of their buttocks and their waists lipoed to get an hourglass shape. The fat tends to get reaborbed by the body, so the patient goes back for the second and third time to try for a gargantuan ass. Just take a peek at the realself website to see people's write-ups about it. I just saw a girl on the subway in New York wearing tight yoga pants and a short top showing off her midriff. Her ass was huge and obviously surgically enhanced. Surely, she was just coming from the gym in that getup! Implants? Why of course not! All naturale, if you mean I gained weight and then had my own fat taken out and put into my ass!On another note, I never heard of Balmain until the Kardashians started wearing his ugly ass clothes. Might have been Kanye's plan all along, to make his boyfriend more famous. Edited because autocorrect on the iPad is annoying.
  11. I weirdly feel like I missed something about Amar. No doubt he's a nice guy and makes good food, but I would swear he was presented on the show as a sort of 'middle of the pack' kind of guy, who made the same thing time and again (was it chicken? I forgot). He came off as someone who would eventually get eliminated and not one of the top contenders at all. All of a sudden, he's a masterful chef and has been all along. What did I miss?! With that being said, not a huge fan of Jeremy (he should have gone home for the disaster of Restaurant Wars in my opinion), so I am hoping Amar takes home the win.
  12. I just want to say that Lauren's valley girl voice really gets on my nerves. It makes her sound really stupid. It doesn't help, of course, that we know nothing about her except that she lives California and that she's a Flight Attendant.
  13. Yep, making way too much to be eligible for "affordable living housing," but not nearly making enough to live at a normal and comfortable standard of living. I feel his pain. I think $1800 is on the low end of crazy...studio apt rents go up to $2300 in my area. It's fucking insanity. I always wonder how other people are affording to live in this city too. Sigh. I love New York, I really do. It has a rhythm I understand and relate to, and I love being around culture, arts, and diverse people. I was born and raised here, but it might be time to say goodbye soon. Like your brother, I'm afraid of leaving and not being able to come back.
  14. Yes, but I'm one of the luckier ones, I think. I've lived here for awhile, so I've watched the prices soar around me to ridiculous astronomical amounts, for what basically amounts to shit. These are not nice apartments at all. Why people are paying these amounts is beyond me. I don't get how people manage to save money in this economic environment. I don't want to spend 50% or more of my take home income on housing. It's very difficult to find a one bedroom (in ny you're required to make 40x the rent) without two incomes to pay for it (this was not the case 10-15 years ago). Now, the problem is that I can't afford the rent to upgrade and stay in my neighborhood or anywhere even remotely close! I already have a long commute into the city. If I wanted to purchase an apartment, I cant afford to even buy a shitty studio. Even if I could, cash buyers swoop in and take everything. It's utterly depressing. I feel like I'm doing so much worse than my parents ever did (who had 1 income and two children with a nice home in Queens) despite making much more money. I feel like the old lady in the shoe(box) and very seriously considering moving out of New York. Off topic rant, sorry!
  15. I really hated this final. It was really lackluster and the time thing was such bs. Everthing would have been different if everyone had to eat their own food and finish it all. Cara Maria is such a hypocrite. She yelled at Jamie when something was hard for him, but she whined and cried like a baby if something was hard for her. Where was her "suck it up" attitude then? It just annoyed me.
  16. Funny you say that... I was just thinking about how their apt was better than mine and what I would give to have their crappy kitchen as opposed to mine in Brooklyn, with its two cabinets and small fridge that qualifies as a "kitchen."
  17. Something is seriously wrong with him. It's no where near funny anymore. I feel like I'm witnessing a mental breakdown.
  18. Jojo's brothers were a little douchey, but honestly, they had every right to say the things they said. This is a very superficial situation and I've always found it weird how happy and supportive the families are. Ben was very obviously cagey with the brothers, and you could absolutely tell she's not the final one. The brothers knew it. Ben, of course, couldnt handle a the situation.
  19. Can't stand her. For some reason, she drives me absolutely insane. I found her extremely annoying on her season and her voice seriously grates.
  20. I liked some of his looks to. I know he had a freak out on his season, but he sincerely apologized and was forgiven. I'm okay with that. I am truly hoping he has grown and matured (dealing with his anger issues and elevating his designs) but the preview is worrying. Sigh.
  21. Alyssa, please note that if you have hips and you happen to be on the short side of tall, front pleated shorts with pockets will look terrible on you. Does Alexander wear face makeup or is he just extremely pale? I'm not making fun at all, it's a serious question. I'm just curious. As for his dress, I wasn't a fan, but interesting to note that all the Starlets are wearing butt-ugly sheer dresses with underwear/bathing suit like garments underneath. It looked very similar and without the billowing cape (complete with wrist straps to keep it billowing properly), I could see someone wearing it. Still not a fan of that though. I like my clothes to be opaque, thank you very much. Wasn't a fan of Valerie's dress. I was confused as to why it was in the top. Shut up Sam. Ugh. I'm 39 and would love Project Senior/Mature! This concept of all clothes having to being "youthful" is offensive and ageist. Nothing wrong with a mature style. It can be really beautiful. I want mature clothes! I'm tired of every shirt being so sheer and flimsy you have to wear a top underneath it (getting off topic lol).
  22. Back when Kim was pretty: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3453219/Kim-Kardashian-shares-photos-appearance-2007-fashion-Kendall-Jenner-graces-runways-world.html
  23. I'm convinced it's the price she paid for marrying his wealth. I think Erica treats other people like Mr. Giraudi treats her. Definitely noticeable when she yelled at Rinna at the "BBQ" to be quiet.
  24. Maybe we can agree got disagree, but I honestly don't get it. What does working the front of a restaurant have anything to do with sleeves? How is it offensive not to wear sleeves? It's not like they're rubbing their pits in your food. Maybe the dress wasn't necessarily flattering to Karen's body type, but it was a perfectly nice dress. I'll have to pay more attention when I go out to eat, but I'm pretty sure I have seen hosts without sleeves.
  25. Sleeveless dresses are no longer considered inappropriate in the workplace though. I work at a conservative bank, and woman wear sleeveless dresses all the time, even the lawyers. Actually, I don't think many dresses are made with sleeves any longer. The majority of work dresses are sleeveless. It's not weird to see. The idea of a woman not showing her arms is really dated.
