  1. I don't have an issue with Hannah B per se. My fear is her final suitors will all be guys like Garrett and Luke, which will make for a really shitty Bachelor selection, unless they decide to dip back to a previous season again. If they were going to go the kooky/villain route, why not just commit fully and get Demi?
  2. I'm surprised Bri got cut so soon. Maybe her accent and generous genetics will be enough to land her on Paradise. She is arguably one of the prettiest women to be eliminated this early in the game. One exciting thing about this season is that half of the remaining contestants are women of color! I don't think that's ever happened before.
  3. If Macy is half-demon, could her demonic traits manifest in a succubus or black widow capacity? I know the storyline has been done on shows like Lost Girl and American Horror Story, but I feel like there are a lot of little breadcrumbs. What if she was the only one who could see Gavin's mark because she subconsciously "marked" him when she started feeling jealous of Summer? I feel like her virginity will play into the storyline somehow. She would not know if she was a succubus or black widow if she never had sex. Plus, didn't Gavin mention her Halloween costume was Persephone, the Greek Goddess of the underworld?
  4. Garrett clearly uses Instagram. Becca has posted a picture of herself flicking off Trump, pictures with her gay best friend and other liberal sentiments on Instagram. Garrett could have easily seen this, and he still chose to pursue her? Even though they have radically different beliefs? And no one bothered to pull the "Right Reasons" card? Granted, I don't take Garrett for the type to value his partner's opinions. I also lost a ton of respect for Becca for implying that Blake's anxiety would prevent him from being a good father. A friend to the millions of Americans who suffer from emotional distress conditions, she is not.
  5. Oddly enough, I think this was one of Lauren B's memorable qualities. She always said toast instead of cheers. Speaking of Lauren, if Arie broke up with her again, I'd ship her with Blake. Both are attractive and display a concerning amount of emotional investment to the show's lead.
  6. I am curious if and how the Garrett controversy will affect Becca's proposal. I saw this interview where she said she was a very political person, and she had a picture of herself flicking off a Trump rally on her Instagram page. She might not be happy, but it would probably be extremely humiliating and frustrating to go through this process and leave empty-handed. She could play along just to save face until the press gets off her back.
  7. In all fairness to Lauren, if I were trapped in the mansion all day with some of those girls, I would have gotten plastered during that winery date too. She didn't get a group date last week so I'm sure she was itching to break free, not to mention producers probably prodding her with delicious, expensive wine. I do feel bad. She's gorgeous and based on her social media, pretty witty. Usually the Bachelor is really into the episode 3 one-on-one date girl, so she probably could have made it halfway through the season on looks alone. But considering Arie expects the women to beat each other up and crash into each other with cars, she's arguably the real winner here.
  8. This is one of the best looking groups the show has had. Almost all the girls look like they could be final four contenders if they were cast in different seasons. My favorite line was the girl who said, "If you can find love on Tinder, you can find love on TV." That seems like a good attitude to have if you're really in it for the right reasons. I also loved Lauren S. asking Maquel where she got her race car. It's a fair question. I really hope they're not pimping Tia for the Bachelorette. Tia seems sweet, but I'm really done with Raven/Nick's season/Bachelor in Paradise contestants. Plus, I think there could be better contenders for that role in this group.
  9. I saw those Ben 2.0 articles. It's probably pure speculation, but still. If they wanted Ben 2.0, couldn't they just pick Dean? They're both young and have that boyish charm. Plus, Dean has a legitimate backstory whereas Ben's "unlovable" schtick felt random and manufactured for the show.
  10. I'm surprised you were even able to finish reading the page with all those damn pop ups! I just found the pictures on a third-party website. I actually think Leila is beautiful. She might also be the second Indian contestant in 21 seasons, so I'm hoping by some small miracle she makes it relatively far and could be a Bachelorette contender in a franchise otherwise terribly lacking diversity in leads.
  11. Did anyone catch that Brooke said the fire happened at one of her father’s real estate properties? It almost seemed like a hint. Is it possible the killer somehow connects back to Brooke or her storyline? She does not really have a role in the plot, so it would be interesting if she were a key piece behind the murderer’s identity.
  12. I cannot say I am terribly surprised the final four are the four white men who are more than six feet tall and that most of them have professional sports backgrounds. I am surprised, however, that only one of them has a job that is not former athlete or singer. Do not get me wrong. I like JoJo, but what bothers me about her as the Bachelorette is I did not expect her to be interested in the men of color. While I do not think Caila would have been any more diverse than her, the men on her season would have at least entered with an open mind to dating a woman of color. If one of these men were selected as the Bachelor, his cast and winner selection might be more diverse. In turn, the Bachelorette from his season might be diverse and/or have a diverse cast and so on. The man who is selected to be the Bachelor from this season will probably choose a bubbly blonde like Lauren or maybe a perky brunette like Desiree or Jenny from Brad’s first season thereby continuing the cycle of poor representation.
  13. So basically the writers slaughtered the Dorne storyline in the most literal sense of the word. Oberyn explicitly said in season four that they do not hurt little girls in Dorne. Does this storyline even matter? The Lannister family won by default because everyone with the Martell name is dead. Also, can we conclude Margaery is the other queen in Cersei's prophecy? Joffrey died during his marriage to her. Oberyn's death following Margaery's wedding ultimately led to Myrcella's death. Tommem will probably die while being betrothed to her.
  14. Maybe classism or job discrimination? Ben’s mom might look down on Lauren for being a flight attendant. (I personally think it is a cool job.) Add her black roots and platinum hair, and Ben’s mom might not take her seriously. JoJo, on the other hand, is wealthy, has an impressive job in real estate and is a brunette just like momma Higgins.
  15. Not to be repetitive, but how did the chicken enthusiast get eliminated the first night? Honestly, I think she is the prettiest blonde in the group. She even had a nice meet cute with Ben during introductions. Can she be the Bachelorette? I feel bad for Olivia mainly because I cannot imagine how hard job searching must be for her right now.
