Exactly. Erika doesn't need to tell her parents every time she has a sexual relationship with a woman. But if she's upset to be a secret for 10 years, seemingly she has actually told her parents that she is in a relationship with a woman. It's just so stupid to me that she could complain about being a secret if she just actually came out to her parents last episode. I could better understand her being upset with Steph if she said, "look, we both agreed to come out to our families. I did that two days ago but you wimped out..."

The only difference it makes to me is that Erika's "coming out" story to her parents was faked. I didn't believe it last episode. First, I don't believe that someone is going to "come out" to their parents in a reality TV show. Imagine if her parents hadn't been so lovely. Some parents might not be homophobic but mourn their kids having a traditional hetero relationship. I mean, if Steph feels like her mom might be "destroyed" over her daughter coming out, maybe she was right not to come out on a reality show. I also find Erika to be way too rational to get upset that Steph didn't come out to her mom if she had only come out to her parents a few days before. I think she'd be more understanding that hey, it took me this long to come out to MY parents. So to me, that coming out episode last week was fake. On Stephanie being a cold fish, yes she is. I still am going with her falling for Erika in a "this girl is just soooooo cool and I think I'm in love with her..." then went down there and realized she isn't into her at all. I mean, she really seems to dislike her even. Like disgusted by her. It is funny too b/c her youtube channel is so sexual. I'm with other poster on this thread -- she'll end up with a husband. This will be her last bisexual relationship.

The other side of it is Erika doubting whether Steph is actually bi? Or is serious about her. And of course, we know that Steph is looking for any excuse out of this relationship and found it with the stupid "WHAT! YOU HAD A GF YOU DIDN'T TELL ME ABOUT!!!"

Heterosexuals tend to not hide their significant sexual relationships. Erica clearly hid a 10-year relationship with a woman. And other relationship she's had with other women if she just came out last week. So why is she upset exactly? More than likely because she's already told her parents a long time ago. and there for her being a secret for that long of a time was an issue for her. (oops I didn't mean to sound like I was arguing with you on your post!)

The argument centered over Stephanie not telling her mom, not whether she is hiding Erika to her friends. To be upset about that only makes sense if Erika was honest about her sexuality already. Not that her parents may have guessed previously. If Erika is upset over this after just telling her parents then Erika needs to STFU. If she felt like a secret with her ex GF, the coming out last week makes zero sense. Eriika is too rational to get upset over Stephanie not coming out on Face time and too rational to tell story like that and be upset about being a secret if she just came out to her parents. Again, I believe she told her parents a long time ago and TLC was stunting.

If she "just came out" Erika has a lot of fucking nerve to be upset at Stephanie. For one, if she's known she's bisexual for a long time, her love life HAS been a secret to her parents. My parents didn't meet every boyfriend I ever had, but Erika had a 10 year relationship where she clearly never told her parents she had a sexual relationship with a woman. If she JUST came out, she would be very understanding of why it's hard for Stephanie. And if she JUST came out, how in the hell is she upset with a 10 year relationship? The whole story was that this ex GF kept her hidden from her mom. The only thing that makes sense would be that Erika came out a long time ago and that scene was producer-driven (and Steph knew it). Otherwise, I would think Steph's argument would not be "what, you have a past!" but would be "Why are you giving me a hard fucking time when YOU just came out?"

It was specified. Go watch the scene again. Erika uses the words that the ex-GF didn't come out "to her mom." The whole point of Erika sharing that story was to explain why that is upsetting for Erika that she's hiding it from her mom. If we are to believe Erika JUST came out to her family, then she had a 10 year relationship with someone she also kept secret. If she just came out last week, Stephanie has every right to be pissed at her -- but for a differet reason. Why are you doubting ME when YOU just came out? I did not believe last week Steph just came out. Her parents were lovely. But it seemed like they've already had that discussion so they had time to be even more lovely.

The story here wasn't that Erika was pissed b/c Stephanie didn't come out to her friends and as such, was a secret. She already lived the secret of someone that wouldn't come out to her mom. So if she's in a 10 year relationship and Erika was a secret to her GF's mom, why did we just see a scene last week where Erika was coming out to her parents? Because if so, Erika kept that 10 year relationship a secret to her parents as well. Which leads me to believe the "just came out" story was producer-driven and Erika has long been "out" of the closet.

Well, if we are to believe this storyline of what he's told Avery, he's planning to uproot his "well-cared for by the kid's mom" to live with Avery in the US (which of course, would never happen -- he'd be in for quite the losing court battle to make that happen). The dad(s) of Avery's children won't have to have their kids uprooted. Maybe they aren't a part of the show b/c they just don't feel the need to be on this show, but are a part of the kid's lives. Nevertheless, at the very best, Ash was planning to be in the US meaning he now won't see his kid very much. So at best, he's not going to be much of a part of his son's life for large chunks of time. I don't see him being worthy of a lot of respect. He's galivanting.

Stephanie/Erika: This week just proved my theory: Erika came out to her family a long, long time ago. I think Stephanie's look of horror when Erika confessed the 10 year relationship in which she was the "secret' was Stephanies realization that the idiot just blew that coming out to her parents storyline. I mean, you can only be upset at being the secret if you aren't also hiding the secret. But hey, this gave Stephanie the chance to end it, like she's been waiting to do the first time she saw Erika. Geoffrey/Varya: Did they share the same Nice n' Easy bottle of dye this trip? Both of them look like their hair doesn't get dyed by a hairdresser. Good decision, Varya on the marriage thing. Avery/Ash: The rest of this is just perfunctory for Avery waiting for the contract to be over. I think she absolutely HATES Ash. HATES him. How did someone who seems so rational, like Sian, end up marrying Ash? Also, Avery is pretty but she needs to stop with the eyeliner on her lower lids. Rose/Ed: Good for her. But a true punishment for Ed would be to live the rest of his life having to hear her God awful monotone voice. Dave/Ukrainian: I didn't believe this storyline from the beginning. Didn't believe he spent the kind of money he did w/o ever meeting. I believe it's more likely their relationship just started and they either scammed to get on the show or TLC lied about the story.

I'm convinced there are "businesses" that look for someone with instant reality fame to use their name and their reality fame. Then the reality show star gets to claim this is the product they have slaved over for years. I mean, how many skin care/cosmetic lines have we seen (that seem to go nowhere)? How many fashion lines have we seen (that also go nowhere)? I mean, I know some already have products when they come in or are really developing something, but it sure seems like there are a glut of HWs who suddenly get a product, make it seem like they've been working it for years, and then that product really doesn't seem to do any business. It's a vanity business and something to give them a storyline to keep them on the show.

And that's why I think she's so upset over the renovations. In order to sell that place and get top dollar. She would HAVE to do a lot of cosmetic changes to that house in addition to whatever the problems she's having. Can you imagine a real estate agent going through that house with the ugly pallette? Ha, I don't know. I remember when I realized that I wanted to break up with my my long-distance boyfriend. I was in beautiful Quebec City (his hometown) for one of his friend's wedding when he asked while we were dancing "So when is this going to be you and me..." and i just sort of laughed it off. I had by that time figured out that I didn't want to continue the relationship. I couldn't WAIT to leave. When you're stuck with someone who annoys you, it's really hard to enjoy yourself even when you are in gorgeous surroundings.

My favorite thing is when they call the person they've never met the love of their lives or soulmates. I mean, how on earth could you ever know that when you've spent zero time together. And then when they do spend time with them, it's a brief amount of time. How could you ever know your compatibilty if you aren't spending signficant time together?

Exactly. Ed is one of the many 90 day F'ers (women included) that don't want someone in their own physical league. They go to impoverished countries, carry with them the carrot of a green card, paw all over their intended as though they are there to sexually gratify them. It's a sick game.
