33 scoreless innings in a row while missing four starters to injuries. Unreal. I’m sure with a bullpen game tomorrow that streak will be over, but that’s pretty incredible.

Why are Eagles fans such trash? Poor Hutchinson- that looked like a devastating injury. Hope the surgery and rehab goes well for him.

I think Dave Roberts is the happiest because this win saved his job for now. Since the loss he did a great job of managing the games and bullpen, which he’s done poorly with in the last few years.

Mets/Dodgers should be fun. I don’t know how the Dodgers pulled it off with their lack of starting pitchers. Its always nice seeing Machado lose.

Another year of the Dodgers crapping on themselves in the playoffs. Definitely decimated with injuries this year, but they will likely fire Roberts (finally).

Too bad the Saints decent defensive effort is being ruined by the awful offense.

That was the worst clock management I’ve ever seen by the Bills. Way to waste all the defensive effort in the second half. I don’t know how Baltimore came out with a win when they looked like they were going to lose twice in that game. That one’s gotta hurt.

I’m sure Alabama will still make it to the playoffs so can’t be too excited just yet. Good for Vandy, though!

Love the name of this episode! Such an easy and funny so far and the leads have such good chemistry. I’m sure the overbearing family will continue to be involved but hope they don’t ruin this show.

We have the luxury of sitting on our lazy asses and watching multiple views of slow mo replays, which they don’t have on every single play. It’s a rough and thankless job being an official.

Everyone seems to suck on this show except for Yancy, Rosa and Rogelio. Why am I still seeing Bonnie? Just the presence of her on my screen makes me reach for the remote so I can FF her. What is the point of her character? Would have been a tighter storyline in 6-8 episodes. I felt the last 3 were filler.

I really like that this show diverted from the usual jerk partner or asshole police chief trope, and the entire team that is surrounded by the main character is supportive and helpful. It’s rare to see this on shows nowadays. Same with the kids not being annoying, and they seem to enjoy each other as a family. I’m also happy that so far there isn’t too much violence so I can watch with my tween daughter! The cases are intriguing and the 45 minutes fly by.

I was about to say that Sam Darnold was having a good season so far and then he gets injured, but now he’s back in? Hope he’s okay.

Your point is proven with how he’s killing it in Miami right now- 10 RBI’s, 3 HRs and 2 stolen bases. I don’t know how they’d risk him getting injured as a pitcher. Walker Buehler hasn’t been the same after his surgery, and now he has a hip injury.

I agree, he would tire out as a starter and may get injured again. Not sure about a closer but maybe start with some bullpen work and do an occasional inning.

Congrats to Ohtani on 50/50. Never thought that would happen in my lifetime. Is it even worth it to have him pitch next season with how good of a DH he is?

Wonder why his teammates hate him so much. I saw at the end of the game he was trying to help up a teammate but the player ignored him and got up himself. Has to be a tense locker room.
