Is that a record for his fifth consecutive WS game with a home run? Unreal. Hoping he has a sixth and the Dodgers seal it tomorrow just to see the Yankees fans all pissed off. I know it won’t happen since they have to show up at least one game, but a girl can dream.

Torres doesn’t bother me that much and feel like they’ve toned him down the last few seasons.
-
That was just a fluke tip and he was in the right place at the right time. Gutting loss for the Bears but congrats to Washington.
-
These two games have aged the fans. Insanity.
-
I’ve never heard Dodgers stadium that quiet. I hope Shohei tweaked his shoulder and doesn’t have any ligament damage.
-
It’s only one game. Soto is probably going nuclear on everyone tomorrow. Good luck, Dodgers.
-
Hubby is at the game and has probably lost his voice. Way to show up this postseason after dealing with your ankle, Freddie.

I’m surprised at 22 seasons in and the storylines are still engaging. I was worried that one of Vance’s girlfriends would be a bad guy yet again, but so happy that was not the case.
-
I do appreciate that the Vikings didn’t gripe about that call like others would have. Darnold said that they shouldn’t have been in that position in the first place, and the coach stated one play doesn’t lose games. It was nice to see.
-
Still had to score a TD and two point conversion and they were at their own 20. I’ve seen much worse calls at the end of the game. But you’re right- every team will get some missed calls that alter the course of the game. Thats how it goes.

I think season two has been knocking it out of the park. Everyone is realistically flawed and make dumb mistakes, but actually talk about their feelings and communicate. I love it! Do not like Alice self sabotaging herself after showing some growth, but it makes sense. She really wasn’t ready to confront the drunk driver, and now she’s going to throw away her friendship.
-
The entire reason they lost is because they couldn’t get into the end zone at all, so it was a fitting ending. The defense could have stopped them and the Chargers would have escaped with a win, but if you’re that inefficient in the red zone you deserve to lose. Herbert seems to be missing all his favorite targets he had last season. I don’t even recognize most of the offense now- couldn’t they have signed a big time WR in the offseason?

I’ve given Andrea the benefit of the doubt the last few seasons and have tolerated her, but her having a hissy fit at Mickey for not “showing her empathy” pissed me off. You did something unforgivable that was much more than a little mistake, and didn’t like being called out for a colleague not keeping your secret? I’m glad the second prosecutor called her out that 10 years ago she would have done the exact same thing. No one is going to hand hold you while you didn’t do your job and indirectly had someone killed. Once this gets out I’m sure the victim’s father is going to sue her.

Awful, but realistic, ending to abusive ex situations. He shouldn’t have been out to begin with. And it was so sad seeing her dog by the bench waiting for her.

Wow, I can’t believe it’s been 15 years for the Yankees with all the talent they’ve had. I think they can beat the Mets or Dodgers, but hope it’s a competitive series.
-
@Jane Tuesday I was thinking of your previous spot on comment when I saw his disastrous pitching on display. Sensing this series will go to 7 games- the lack of starting pitching is going to bite the Dodgers. If they somehow get past the Mets I don’t know if they can survive having a few bullpen games when even some of their pitchers they rely on are now injured. And Freeman is pretty much done. Not looking good for them at all.

I wonder how many of those fans that laughed and clapped when Shohei got hit in the crotch groaned at his home run.
-
Curious who the other 11 are in this era. He’s had three of the 16 TDs between 2009-2020, so that seems like he’s been one of the most accurate. I still can’t stand him, but he’s still got some arm.
-
Damn it, the king of Hail Marys strikes again.
-
33 scoreless innings in a row while missing four starters to injuries. Unreal. I’m sure with a bullpen game tomorrow that streak will be over, but that’s pretty incredible.
-
Why are Eagles fans such trash? Poor Hutchinson- that looked like a devastating injury. Hope the surgery and rehab goes well for him.
-
I think Dave Roberts is the happiest because this win saved his job for now. Since the loss he did a great job of managing the games and bullpen, which he’s done poorly with in the last few years.
-
Mets/Dodgers should be fun. I don’t know how the Dodgers pulled it off with their lack of starting pitchers. Its always nice seeing Machado lose.
-
Another year of the Dodgers crapping on themselves in the playoffs. Definitely decimated with injuries this year, but they will likely fire Roberts (finally).
-
Too bad the Saints decent defensive effort is being ruined by the awful offense.
