Honestly? If the Duggars had the courage of their convictions? They'd have been seeking an out before they were in a line-up with the Jazz show (or a few recent TLC shows). That sort of proves it was all about the cash.

My perception was that she was addressing the gossip writer's interpretation of whatever fucked up shit the ABC execs fed them, er leaked. So it's not firm that she's gone?
-
Which reminds me, some people are very critical of her about not voting in 2008. I'm not sure what they'd have her do? She saw that Palin was a joke and she saw the nativism that Palin invoked in her speeches, I wouldn't have expected her to cross a line and vote for Obama, she thought enough about her vote that she couldn't vote for the ticket that she was responsible for, because she thought the choice of Palin as VP was dangerous. I'm not defending her, but I'm not sure that is something to condemn her for.

Our final studio never went to nationals, not even really the one or two times they were held here. Our director was more concerned that her students were off at summer ballet intensives. We had students go to all the prestigious and many of the mid-range intensives. That was the where the focus was, not silly competitions, especially when the cost is considered.

From what I've read, it's what got her hired into the Bush administration. And tip top on the McCain campaign. If you could go back in time and watch her presentation as a McCain surrogate against Fiorina, you could see it. She was pleasant, Fiorina was so nasty that she got booted as well as Pfotenhauer.

And into a Friday we go, Whoopi's idiocy flies under the radar safely into next week. The redemption edit was for the Apatow appearance but it also came in just in time for the Obama comments. I noticed they did not speak on that during tepid topics, even though it's been covered everywhere.

@sofiah, you seem dialed into Club Dance, when did the Moffetts arrive there from Minneosta, I've been trying to figure that out. Oh it's right in her bio...

It does sound like time for a letter writing campaign. For me anyways.

Good for Nicolle, well done. Rosie P should take a note.
-
See this is what I mean about the associations. ;)
-
We'll just have to agree to disagree.
-
I think Rosie countered Nicolle pretty well when Whoopi didn't intervene just to be a contrarian. They had a very nice agree to disagree vibe. I think this is stupid going into an election year. Maybe they'll look at Campos again, she's fucking shrill enough.

Nope. But they perpetuate a lifestyle of patriarchy that is a problem.
-
I think it's done. Go listen to what Obama said yesterday. I know that Jill and Jessa are victims but there is too close of an association.

Along with Coulter, Hannity and Limbaugh.

Perhaps the final nail in the coffin was Obama addressing the Cosby situation.

Happy Snoopy Dance!

Well I thought Biden was the best prepared, he was my horse in 2007 until he got blew past. He kicked ass in the debates. But my Biden love knows no bounds.

I don't know, I feel like we don't hear a whole lot when Abby is cleaning solos except for particularly nasty stuff against Kendall, JoJo and Nia generally speaking. Same for when she's cleaning group dances. And we practically never hear Gianna doing corrections, except to pick out the victim of the week (JoJo at the Astras for example). It's very likely that they match up the corrections to what happens in the performance after the fact - so it looks like foreshadowing when it really isn't. I'd like to think when the cameras aren't rolling, all kinds of corrections get made when they are cleaning dances. Or that most of them end up on the floor after editing. First of all, they were short on time prepping Kalani, second, showing all the corrections serves the narrative that's playing about absence from class... It could just be production manipulation, I think again, we don't know.

LO'D gets proven wrong 50% of the time I think when he gets over-strident and smug about stuff. I like him, but he's been wrong before.

At the age when dancers move from Jrs into and through Teens is where the slow and steady dancers start to shine and sometimes overcome the early stars, you see it again and again. I think that the timing of all this travel and the ill-planned (with regard to a steady schedules and teachers) move to LA has slowed the ALDC girls down at exactly the wrong time.

I agree, but her interview that day was also indicative of all systems go if there is an S6. But that too, could have been a required answer. We just don't know. Kalani doesn't strike me as an NYC dancer, she strikes me as an LA dancer - much more contemporary and commercial dance on the west coast than on the east coast. That said, there is Ailey II and the Joffery School in NY. I don't think we know what Kalani wants except to have fun and be with her friends, probably both in AZ and Dance Moms. Until these last few weeks, we didn't see her unhappy. I don't think the moms of Dance Moms considered how all this travel during the dance "season" really takes away from training. It's one thing to hop on a plane on Friday and back Sunday night and flying off to another continent for weeks at a time without proper teachers and studio space. I don't think anyone could expect Gianna to be ballet mistress and tap teacher. She's probably great for strength and stretch training, leaps and turns and lyrical tech (contemporary) but the rest? That is usually out of range for one person which is why there are many teachers at a studio. For example, our previous director stuck to ballet, because that is what she was best at and well known for. She also doesn't teach the babies at all anymore.

::sniffle:: I miss Molly!

This is probably what prompted the question.

His answer was thought out and obviously prepared. You never know what will be asked at a press conference.
