This "shitstorm" is fallout from the ridiculous Ben Ghazi nontroversy. She's a Clinton so they'll just make shit up as they go along to attack her.
-
Clinton must have pissed in Fournier's Wheaties back in Arkansas at some point, I really wonder what happened back in the day. Thankfully @shok he's no longer with AP, but unfortunately he's still all over the media with his role at National Journal. Men, especially Republican men seem to go rage red about Hillary - it's actually rather entertaining.
-
I gotta say I totally agree with this - what we saw in the TDA final solos showed zero musicality, performance quality or diversity of style for the most part. I'm not a fan of the new trend.
-
... or that she was hammered by Boxer or fired by McCain, I'm sure.
-
It's all of the known elements tearing away at the Clinton fabric. WAPO and NYT always hated them, as did the beltway. There might be a real problem, but this is just the normal treatment that the Clintons always receive from these folks. And this isn't even the right wing attack dogs. This would be why I did not want her to run again.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, Brynn shouldn't do Dance Moms, Club Dance seems to be serving their dancers quite well from the TDA results. Plus Brynn appeared on DWTS with Maddie without being so closely attached to the show.
-
That's a great question - is the full bootie camp required to be eligible to audition? If so, I smell a rat.
-
That's illogical. unless it was for title. I know I'd read the stuff about that and Kalani's solo being adjudicated in the duets/trios. It does sound like it was a mess, but these are fake competitions run by Collins so who was the manipulator? And for what affect?

Two things, TRUMP! and EMAIL SERVER! Anyways, that's it if you're watching Morning Joe. Same reason that there is no coverage of the huge explosion in China. (I'd add the third, Mika's ego but that's sort of self-evident on the daily.)

In Melissa's mind Maddie is the new Abigail Breslin, Dakota Fanning or Olsen twin or something. Ava still not filled out and with a tendency to hunch her shoulders is difficult to watch sometimes and that costume just put the icing on that cake. She did look better in the group dance. Does anyone have a bead on where she lands nationally as a dancer or is she all "Dance Moms shenanigans"? Don't even get me started about the horrible sportsmanship and revenge nonsense being modeled by the adults on this show. Nia's costume was an abomination. Out of the hundred or so competitions I went to over the years, I've never witnessed any behavior like we saw. Generally, once awards start everyone stays on stage until the end, one or two might sneak away into the wings if they have other places they need to get to but you never see a group get up and leave all at once. Rude!

I have rarely seen anyone go after Maddie in a malicious way on PTV. Not very often is she even called a brat - I see a lot of concern for her well being and consternation at Melissa's parenting (to the perceived detriment of both Maddie and Mack). If you deem that as a hate site, I guess it is? There has been a lot of discussion in past seasons about Christy allowing Chloe to continue receiving Abby's nastiness, about Kelly allowing it with Paige and Brooke and dissertations written trying to figure out why Holly threw away a career that she worked hard for only to have Nia harped at constantly and treated in a way with a butt load of implied bias with all of those ethnic roles. If Maddie gets discussed the most, it's because the show has made her the central figure.

This is serious perfectionism, please find a way to help her so she isn't frozen forever. My son can be a lot like this, if it's not going to be perfect, why try. Luckily my daughter has an ambitious and competitive streak a mile wide that pushes her past that. Hugs. ♥

Ha, dun dun DUN!!!! Abby walks out. What is the future of Dance Moms? (appears to be circling the drain, but it's been said before) So utterly classless.
-
Lemons, I've been racking my brain this whole time to come up with an example of a "YouTube" dancer (most of these early clips were pilfered from the Hall of Fame site as they were the first competition to put up videos of some winners) that you can see then and now. I give you Dusty Button, then and now.

We could all wish nothing but rose petals and success for Maddie until the end of days - but the look on her face when she fell out her turn badly at the Astras spoke louder than anything. And then there was her behavior when Mack beat her... it's a problem. Production can edit things of course, but they can't force Maddie's behavior and facial expressions, they can only record them. She needs a few semesters at the school of hard knocks, methinks.

Good for Nicolle! She and Joy are the only two showing any sense in this bullshit idea for next season.
-
Only reason there really ever was to tune in was to point and laugh, well for sure in the last five years.
-
And can be controlling and grumpy, but some of us felt like we "knew" that she was this committed to helping folks. I'm quite sure that Whoopi's charity doesn't run this deep. What a disappointment this year turned out to be. The writing in that piece was atrocious, but thank you so much for sharing merriebreeze. ♥

As far as the Candy Apples goes, will it be Jeanette's studio from here on out? The girls that are dancing for her are mostly older as I recall as well. There aren't many hints on Dance Moms Wiki - but it sounds like taping is slated to begin in October - right around Kira's due date.
-
Dance Moms renewed for sixth season. Note the audition announcement - "must be 12 and under". Just can't give up that Junior placement for group competitions, lol. Chicken shits.

When DWS was going after Fiorina, I was hoping that she'd mention how Fiorina was fired as a surrogate from the McCain campaign.
-
Eugenics, unfortunately was part of the "progressive movement" at the turn of the 20th century. It's no longer part of Planned Parenthood in any way.
-
He almost got in a boxing match fighting with Chris Matthews about Fiorina and her "lies lies lies" from Hillary shtick last night - I'd have tossed him off if he were on my show. Again, "nobody except Scott Walker came with his lunch pail of talking points" - hello? Carly repeated word for word her talking points from Wednesday morning on this show - but she was "on fire" and the "winner of the under card"!!! Really? Do you people hear yourselves? And Mika with her faux whatever it is having a Guinness at 7 a.m. - gimme a break.

It would be because dances look cooler when they can (half right half left in choreography), one of my favorite dances of my daughter's had a v formation with all stage right turning to the left and all stage left turning right in a huge fouetté sequence. I don't know if the MDP "pre-professional" curricululm is required for company dancers, but it looks like they recommend 4 hours a week if it's one and the same. Sadly, often I've seen company requirements be only 1-2 hours at some studios. It all depends though - MDP looks like they audition for each genre instead of the traditional company approach which is all styles in whichever company you are chosen for. I know in our old critique tapes back in the day - if the girls did things on both sides a big deal was made by the judges because too often it's not done.

Carmen Electra (previously Pussycat Doll) - I figured she was there because this was a Mikey Minden production - there's a theme that runs through all things Dance Moms. Robin Antin was a judge on AUDC - which connects to Mikey, which connects to Oday and Electra.
