I'm so happy for Erin, half of it is to be paid by the perpetrator so she'll never see it, but she'll get the half from Marriott.

Nevermind LadyBird. Pat and Betty were more down to earth as well. That is what I'm disliking the most about all these Nancy Reagan retrospectives, she was the "caring" voice behind "Just Say No" that coincided with discriminatory criminal justice practices and the expansion of the private prison industry. He's also offering to pay legal expenses if anybody gets in trouble for inciting violence.

Oh, and I have to add, Paula is an idiot with her "the Secret Service has to blah blah blah" about protesters at tRump's rallies. The one that threw down the ABC? I think photographer is in deep water.

Paula and Fox lady, SHUT IT. tRump is an authoritarian that singles out people of color and one religion who took his sweet time and played cute about David Duke and the KKK so as to not lose his zealot fans. That may not make him Hitler, but it certainly makes a portion of his supporters Nazi like. Barbara is definitely slowing down, but for 86... Lovely talk about Nancy Reagan. Not my cup of tea, but having Barbara on to speak about her was the right thing to do. I have no time for Steve Harvey - can't stand the prick.

Black TV Hosts Matter

It wasn't just O'Reilly, it was Joe Scarborough on Scarborough Country, with Steve Adubato and Willie Geist. Hours of hammering away at Rosie for "calling the troops terrorists" and being a 9/11 Truther.

Sara has gone dark on her Twitter. I guess tomorrow will tell, there is nothing on the 'net as of yet. I've never commented about her, she doesn't bother me at all. Has a few good insights, I think the bae vibe with Paula makes Paula a bit more likeable. I'd take Sara over CCB any day. It does seem like Sunny and Sara are destined for the anti-climatic 20th Season.

Stamos reminds me of the older version of Mario Lopez. Ha!

I'm not sure but I was grateful. I still flipped to CNN a lot, I have a soft spot for Begala, and Nia-Malika Henderson is on their team and I'm getting to a point where I appreciate her analysis more than Joy Reid's. Maybe it's just Reid's obvious ass-kissing with Matthews? I'm not sure, I have a love-hate thing going on with Matthews, go figure. It is pretty noticeable how many former MNSBC analysts have landed on CNN. And I think that's part of the problem, the team on MSNBC is greatly diminished and being replaced with distasteful GOPCons, see: Rick Tyler and Ben Ginsberg. At least on CNN when they add a Con they add a liberal. The deeper bench at CNN makes for a more diverse analysis, this election season.

She can be, but the story would have to change like the recent Annie did, or it would have to be like the 90s Cinderella that Brandy starred in. The recent Grease Live had KeKe Palmer playing Marty. @spanana has it right though, typing in an audition can occur before anyone even learns a step of choreography. If you don't have the "look" the want or they can't see you in what they are auditioning for, casting won't waste a minute on you.

And some people are born with bad feet, and Nia is one of them. I think that Abby is a middlin' coach/choreographer but she probably had some very good staff back in Pittsburgh. I think she probably primarily worked with her older company dancers before this show. I've watched a couple of the Q&A "masterclass" things that they've done on the road and she does put emphasis on proper stretching and foot exercises, and the corrections we see her giving on the show are generally sound. I'd be really curious about her mother, who started the studio, and I wonder when Abby rolls off her Broadway stats, whether that includes dancers that primarily trained under her mother. The correction we never really see is for Kendall, who wears her shoulders like earrings, and this is one that should have been started and repeated as often as Nia gets corrections about her feet, or Kendall gets about lack of proper expression. I'll tell you that it's really important to have your little one in a studio/academy that starts with and emphasizes proper technique from the start, because unlearning bad habits from a studio that doesn't teach proper technique is much harder than learning properly from the start, and will stall a dancer's progression for years. Of course the problem is, you start your child not thinking that it will become a lifetime love/commitment for them and just a fun activity, and then it can all change and your child lives for it. Putting some time into making sure that they are in a safe space is important, I know I failed on that initially and my dancer paid for it.

Aiyee what a flustercluck. First Thomas gets the city wrong (he said Tampa the mayor is from Tallahassee) and then the mayor says that the Democratic primary is winner takes all. I'm just finished with yesterday so, SHUT THE EFFFF UP PAULA! Geebus. No, Soros hasn't put together ALEC or poured so much hidden money into politics that they have now overtaken most of our municipalities and state houses, Soros isn't dumping billions of dollars of grants and endowments on universities and colleges to "shape" thinking in our students. Paula isn't being journalistic acting like a child and pouting about Soros, the woman is a guest and is there to promote her book, shut up and let her do what she is a guest there to do, Paula is showing her bias for the GOP, and that is not journalistic integrity. Backing up to epidural talk, mine are 21 and 18, and I started out with good intention with the 21 year old but had terrible back labor and begged for the epidural. Anticipating a repeat performance (I'm 5'), I didn't even pretend not to plan for a second epidural. And at the time, an awful lot of my peers went all in on the epidural as well.

Well, lol, I was the one that noted where the "twerk" should go and as she was supposed to be Cookie, thought it was okay. I do agree that the duet should have been scraped or possibly given to JoJo from the start. My whole premise about Holly and Nia having the chance to perform is in the context of the "new kids taking away her opportunity" and is completely decoupled from what happened with the duet this week. Didn't Nia win a little dance off we saw doing hip hop/funk style dance? How do we know this? We don't get to see the girls doing this style very often, and I thought that Nia was a stand out in the hip hop a while back.

I guess I wasn't necessarily talking about the duet, but the comments from her about new kids taking away Nia's opportunities. I'm not claiming it to be level-headed or anything, but I do believe that Holly feels that anytime Nia gets to perform beyond the weekly group dance as an opportunity to hone her performance skills, and hopefully her dance skills as well.

This. Sooo much better for perky jazz than Nia. Probably around two months, in other words, still at the edge of being a newborn that shouldn't really be on planes or around lots of people. I know I'm an on again off again apologist about Holly (she gets my rage when she allows the stereotyping for Nia with the exceptions of Rosa Parks and Maya Angelou) and I'm not about to rewatch the show, but doesn't she often say the "opportunity to perform" when referring to Nia getting solos or duets? I think she knows that Nia isn't as good of a dancer and never will be, but she wants Nia to have time on stage alone, for experience. If Nia can act, (we know she can sing a little) she's got a shot at some little Broadway things. Alternatively, if she's embracing funk and hip hop, maybe she could be a backup dancer. East coast v West coast work. Bryn matched Maddie in the duet, and it was an excellent one. They all, even Maddie still, drop face when they execute leaps and turns, it's a problem. Maddie does get an expression, but it's not what is meant. I saw it rewatching the Bond Girl solo close up, it's sort of half the expression she has in most of the dance, if that makes sense. I really enjoyed the group dance, except for Mackenzie's costume and wig, one of them is not like the others. Nia's wig was appropriate and cute, it was just glaringly cheap.

Tee hee. One must endeavor to only hatewatch this show for shits and giggles. Seriously, try it, it makes it so much better. I'm an addict and seriously need a 12 step program for this. I just can't stand any of the other morning shows either.

Ba ha ha, Mika at the top of the show all breathy (breaking news) reporting about immunity for Pagliano. Ooooh, lemme report on how Hillary Clinton is in soooo much trouble.

Mackenzie and Nia looked absolutely ridiculous in those wigs. Abby usually is so good on the details, I watch those moms sew headpieces on their heads weekly, and then she puts crappy cheap wigs on two of them. Just awful. My dislike for Kendall grows. Are we there yet?

Sigh, an hour of tRump coverage, nothing about the Democrats but a glancing look at the results.

I watched an awful lot of CNN last night. John King was much better with the magic board, showing the counties of states, I didn't see Kornacki dive that deep once, and frankly, I got bored with MSNBC analysis. I think it's Bri-Wi. Plus, it's frustrating that Chris is remote, I really enjoy the dynamic and respect between he and Rachel, additionally, I hate Mrs. Greenspan. CNN also had much better analysis of the freakout of the GOP establishment and the possible planned superpac to take down Trump.

Jeebus on a cracker, now they have the lizard Ben Ginsberg as an analyst. He absolutely triggers fury in me, between Bush v Gore and the Franken/Coleman recount I cannot stand him.
