Whether it was a good move or not it was not "bullying". I hate they way that word is misused and overused. What next, is an alliance of 5 going to be labeled "bullies" for voting out the other 4. -

I lost any respect I had for Kimmi after her pathetic "You were a bully and I am going to use you as an example to my kids" speech. No, Kimmi, it was not bullying it was hard nosed negotiating to help the alliance she was betraying. I am fine with Jeremy winning, but I don't think he deserved to win unanimously. He made a few blunders in the game, and because of the way the early alliances and tribe shake ups went, he had a much easier route than Spencer or Tasha. He was also the only one totally oblivious to the obvious fact that Kimmi had flipped. -

I think Probst should have explained what would happen if nobody changed his or her vote, before he asked them to decide. -
That was probably the #3 Justin kept telling Diana to remember.

I would love to see those 10 Commandments. I can guess a few: 1) Always mug for the camera. 2) Always annoy the locals running the tasks in embarrassing attempts to be funny. 3) When in doubt, cry. 4) If anything goes wrong, blame Diana. 5) Be obnoxious to all your cab drivers...it makes them drive faster and treat you better. 6) Act like a TAR master and mock other team's choices, while not reading your own clues and pissing off your cab drivers. 7) Heckle opponents rather than focusing on your own task. 8) Let out an annoying, effeminate giggle at least once every leg.

Does the first person voted out even go to Ponderosa? I thought only the jurors stayed there.

Just watched Season 1 episode 1 for the first time. It seemed so much more real than the recent seasons. It had much more of a documentary feel and less of a game show feel than the current episodes.

As a New Yorker, I must sadly admit that there is a lot of truth to Justin's comment. Of course not all of us are aholes, but the average New Yorker is far more rude and arrogant than the average American. Rudeness is often associated with strength and toughness and politeness with weakness.

Taxi Karma - Good Taxi Luck - Bad Justin and Diana deserved the taxi Karma. Many racers in the past didn't deserve the bad taxi luck they got. I don't really see how driving in the final leg is any more dangerous. Teams seem to rush around like it is the final leg in all the legs. Plus, I would think driving overseas often on the left side of the road, with road signs not in English and some crazy traffic would be more dangerous. My guess is they feel American accident victims would be far more litigious and more easily able to sue a US based production company.

You're crazy! :) Agree about Logan. If she was so sure they could successfully pull off the cabjacking, why didn't she stay in the cab and call for Chris to come back?
-
Diana probably had a nickel for every time Justin acted like a douchbag. :)Seriously, I wonder if the crew carries Metro cards that they will sell to the racers if they need them. I can't imagine they could have come up with exact change. It looks like walking to Manhattan on the 103rd Street Footbridge would have taken about a half hour, so that might not have saved any time.
-
The thing is Justin asked the driver if he wanted to wait and then talked money and then told him to leave. He didn't TELL him to wait and run the meter.

I thought the Tig/Venus stuff was gross and contrived. I know Tig is a tri-sexual...he would try anything, including the dead, but c'mon. The club would introduce him to Mr. Mayhem. Tig was probably my least favorite of the main characters.

It would have been great if Chris and Logan arrived at the mat first only to be told they needed to go back to Belmont Park to retrieve the fire gear, return it to Randalls Island and then come back and check in.

Tasha strikes me as a bit cutthroat (I mean that as a compliment). I doubt she would intentionally take a huge threat to FTC based on loyalty. I think she has some chance to win. She probably couldn't beat Jeremy with the jury, and Spencer might be tough if Jeremy is out. But, I could see her beating Kimmi, Keith and possibly Wentworth.

The cab driver wasn't confused. He told Logan and Chris, "No, no, no!" as they approached the cab, but they got in anyway. Kelsey was a pretty good distance from the cab at the time as she ran to stop the theft. The driver had plenty of time to pull away, but he didn't move. Also, earlier told Justin and Diana "I have someone right here." when they tried to talk him into taking them. I totally agree that an explanation from Phil would have been much more interesting than Logan's bellyaching I would also like to know if there would have been a penalty for taking the fire gear. I suspect there would have been. It was FDNY property and not just some silly costume for the show. Also, both Justin and Joey changed and Joey asked the fireman if he needed to change. They didn't show his response, but the fact he did change suggests the answer was yes In addition , I think in most cases you are either required to leave outfits behind or required to wear them to the mat.

Everyone seems to be assuming Jeremy will be at FTC with Spencer. I could see Spencer, Kimmi and Tasha (or whoever else is left) recognizing the threat he is and voting him out. I suspect Jeremy will need to win the final immunity challenge to make the final 3

Dan and Jordan were rather obnoxious as well. Also, while I liked them a lot, Connor and Dave seemed to be rather unpopular among viewers. Even most of the inoffensive winners weren't necessarily fan favorites with the best edits.

Right, under TAR rules, you can steal a cab if the other team left nothing in it and the driver agrees. What Logan can't seem to comprehend is that the cabbie is not bound by TAR rules. I wonder why it hasn't become standard practice to leave some unimportant items in your waiting cab. This would prevent having your cab stolen and it would be no big deal if the cab drives away with them.

I think the driver was asking for a total of $150. $50 for what he was already owed for the trip from the airport, plus $100 to wait and take them to their next destination. Justin was only willing to pay $100 total. We don't know how much cash they had, as it would depend on how much they had saved from prior legs. Justin gave no indication that he lacked the cash needed and made no attempt to negotiate. He said, "I'm not gonna pay you $100 more than this." He then paid the $50. Justin seemed very casual about the whole thing. He seemed to have no clue that it might be a big deal to let the cab leave. Given that Justin lived in NYC for 20 years and went to Randalls Island on his stupid Fake Amazimg Race proposal, this had to be one of the dumbest mistakes in TAR history. On the bright side he did save $100, so he only blew $999,900. He can use the $100 to buy some more dorky hats and t-shirts Did anyone else especially enjoy watching Justin weep like a little girl while wearing that stupid, smiley face "Be Happy" shirt?

Agree on Justin disagree on Chris. It was clear that the cab driver was going nowhere without Kelsey and Joey and the fare they owed him. Logan and Chris might as well have gotten onto one of the fire trucks and demanded the firefighters take them to Belmont Park. There was as good a chance of that happening as there was of the cab driver taking them there.
-
I agree with everything except about Chris and Logan. They bicker exactly like a married couple. Chris does have some speech patterns and mannerisms that are a bit effeminate, but there are a lot of straight men that share them.
-
Logan is truly a despicable human being. She acts as though they gave up the million dollars by taking the high ground. She tried and failed to steal the cab. Even if they had succeeded in stealing the cab, Justin and Diana would have beating them because Logan didn't know that Africa isn't a freaking country.
